New provocations from Bosnias muslims. Seems like muslims have not had enough of war. I suggest that muslims in Bosnia should focus on preventing radical islamic extremists from taking over what is left of your pittiful so called country.

Does anyone know if the Bosnians ever investigated who exactly gave the Bosniak soldiers the order to shoot at their own people in order to raise body count? I mean it can't be denied because international soldiers (French I believe) fighting along side them have come forward and actually protested the action at the time.

Anyone know is the Bosnians muslims have looked into this? And I'm just curious how Bosnians feel about those orders and it staying so hush hush.

The Bosnian Muslims can certainly celebrate whatever day they want. But more than ever, it becomes painfully clear that the Serb Republic and all Serbs have no place in the current Bosnia. The reality is that overtime, the Serb Republic will separate and remain independent or join Serbia.

It seems that these "young muslims" forgot that they also had an army killing Serbs and other non-muslim persons. They give the impression that they never shot a fire, never wheeled a knife and never spilled Serbian blood durring the conflict. Please, admit to your atrocities also before you point fingers at others.

This is a great initiative. Young people from the war are now becoming adults and want change. I am all for young people expressing themselves, because they will eventually be the ones in power when they reach a certain age.

Any person with common sense will understand that Bosnia was not as it was today back then, a national Bosnia was before and forever will be.

Serbs in RS can call for a referendum, but in doing so, they will break the Dayton Accord - which recognizes RS as an entity in the first place. If there is no Dayton to recognize an entity, the entity doesn't exist anymore. It's that simple. There is a reason why BRCKO was strategically placed to split the RS in two, it was always known that RS would not survive in the future.

The Serbs recognize themselves as Serbs - they do not recognize themselves as Bosnian. Bosniaks are rising to put the national interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina forward in a way that someone who recognizes themselves as Serbian or Croatian never would. If Serbs are not happy to live in a national Bosnia, then they should simply move to Serbia.

In the end, they are all Slavs who use religion as a form of ethnicity - you will never hear of a Orthodox Croat or Catholic Serb or Orthodox Bosniak, this is because they all adopted their influencing religion and created their own ethnicity. As such, those of settlement (Catholics in Croatia, Muslims in Bosnia and Orthodox of Serbia) should leave to their respective areas or shut up and work together for a better future no matter where they are.

RS was never a good idea, it was always going to be the downfall. As soon as it breaks away, the cleaner the air will be for it. At the moment, it is nothing but a historic plaugue still gasping for it's last breaths. The map today shows Bosnia and Herzegovina, RS will NEVER have the rights to be recognized on the same map as a republic because this would mean it cannot exist or be recognized in the first place!

I am not aware that the ICJ declared the RS guilty of genocide. Can you provide the source of your info?

These organisations seemed to be worried that, the genocides that happened against Bosnian Muslims are not forgotten. But they are going the wrong way about it, blaming the otherside and putting out statements such as these undermine more themselves than what they are trying to achieve and adds fuel to the fire. For a country like BiH to function all 3 main minorities need to admit to themselves, that genocides happened and that to committ to reconciliation otherwise the country will have no choice but to split up. And the biggest loser will be the Bosnian muslims with a small strip of land between croatia and serbia. I just don't understand this tyoe of nationalism which prevents them from functioning like a normal state and we all know that majority of the muslims were of slav (croation/serbian) origin who were converted. Something they need to think about as well.

Then, new generations will not remember the years when everyone worked and lived together - 'the other' will no longer be someone to associate within your everyday life, the face of your neighbour, work colleague, family etc... Confine that to the history books and make a vapid future for Bosnians of all faiths.
