Kosovo issue is solved already. What needs done is Serbian acceptance. There really is nothing lesft to solve in terms of status. Serbia lost, get over it. Had you treated the Albanians with a bit more humanity you may not have had them rebelling and asking for seperartion. Sadly Serbs still look at Albanians or Albo's as they refer to them here, as subhuman, unworthy of oxygen nevermind equal rights, so this probelm is bound to continue. Albanians have been killing people before 98'. Read the Albanians leaders message to Albanians in 1942. To "exterminate" all Serbs from Kosovo.

Many more than 80,000 albanians entered jails all around the world. Jails are flooded with Albanians all over the world. What is your point? Or are you trying to further point out what albanians do?

The KPS officer opened fire on the Serbs. Read the reports. Why would someone not return fire at a terrorist firing at them with an automatic weapon?

Why don't you mention the Serbian children that got sprayed with automatic weapons while bathing?

It is unfinished business. Albanians have been trying to kick Serbs out of Kosovo since you guys first got there. First on the side of the Ottomans, then with the NAZIs. Now with NATO which is a killing machine similar to the NAZIs.

We do not have that kind of parties who do it. Dacic mention League of Prizren 1878, arguing that since then Albanians wanted creation of Greater Albania. The truth is that League of Prizren was a response to salvage Albanian inhabited territories stretching as far as city of Nis central Serbia (many Kosovar Albanians have the surnames from the places that their grand-grandfathers have been expelled, scorched earth tactics during 1875-78). Serbia with the backing of Russia ethnically cleansed Albanians from those territories to prepare the ground for the Berlin Congress 1878 who approved massive Serb expansion in South Eastern Europe. Albanians were wiped out of central and southern Serbia and were never allowed to claim their rightful property.
Lastly Albanian territories during this period were attacked and annexed by; Serbia, Montenegro, Greece and Bulgaria, once again League of Prizren main aim was to defend as many Albanian inhabited territories as possible.
So Mr Dacic your proposal to redraw the Kosovo-Serbia border should take in account the rights and will of remaining Albanian inhabited towns and villages in Southern Serbia and their unwillingness to live under the laws of Republic of Serbia.
No to mention all those villages and towns in central Serbia that were cleansed of Albanians, if you choose to go as far back as that you might have Kosovo border near the city of Nis.

Never heard of this Mustafa Kruja guy. In 1942 Albania was ruled by Italians and Germans. Albanians never indeed saw Serbia as their state. Why would they and why should they. Same goes for Serbs. If they feel like that I'm more than ok with it. The thing though is that Serbs are notorious for their inat (spite), and in Kosova they've operated through spite, not reason or logic. Some elites in Serbia I suspect have realized that spite lead them to dumb moves. Indeed Serbia because of spite has played it's cards in the worst way possible. Out of spite it pissed of half of the world into bombing it. It had 10 years to propose what Dacic is so characteristically ( of Serbs) late proposing now and he'd get just that. Out of spite they pushed the west into our corner. It took the west 10 years to say yes to our request. For 10 years Sebs did nothing but further alienate them with talks of holy wars against the west(kostunica while president) and UNMIK=occupiers. Even now you're spiteful ;calling for peace but calling those you want peace with terrorists in the same sentence. There is no incentive whatsoever even for someone like me who's ok with partition to want to engage with people who can't seem to escape their spitefulnes. Why should we give credence to some of these ideas when we know that this spite would again cause you to make the next dumb move and shoot yourself in the foot again. Let's not even talk about the fact that now you gotta deal with the big dogs and these dumb moves only magnify themselves when it comes to their reaction. It is because of this spite and dumb moves that now you can't simply split things like you could 10 years ago with a simple deal amongst us. Instead ,out of spite you not only chose not to do that but also managed to piss off some major powers. Now you gotta go through them and ask for their permission even when you feel like farting. I have to agree with the Albanians that generally the Albanians are looked down on by the orthodox population... I see that in Macedonians but the attitude is slowly changing for the better.. When I go to maco, no one really cares about ethnic politics anymore.. As against 2002.. That's the reality.. Doesn't matter who owns what, what matters is who lives there now.. No one is better than the other.. Yes the Albos did a crap job during ottoman rule, the Serbs committed appalling atrocities in the Balkan wars and world war 1, and then the Albanians in world war 2.. But for recent times, post wwll I can't help to feel that if the Albanians weren't treated so poorly and had access to a proper education system I'm confident that a decent deal would have been put in place.. Take Macedonia for example, Yeah sure logically Albanians would prefer to be apart of Albania.. But they have accepted to live with orthodox people as they have done so in the past.. As for Albanian angel status.. Just check out the panda bar massacre 98 on the net.. One of many such Albanian massacres.. So both sides are to blame for petty actions.. But the Serb government had a big say in the status quo.. For the Albanian side.. They have the key to peace this time.. They can let the north go and move on, or they can hope for an operation storm to eventuate.. But I wouldn't bet on the second option as the Americans are moving forces to Asia now to confront an ever growing china...so interest in the Balkans is on the downer.. Hence thaci and co shouldn't make the same mistake as Milo and the boys..

Regarding the persecution of serbs post world war II, i dont have access to any third party data relating to this, im sure there would have been sporadic incidents as there were and are in Macedonia occasionally, though a collective process of extermination I cant verify.. I know the Serb academic circles released such reports.. but put simply I dont really believe anything when it comes communists.. If i wasnt for the communists the People of Vardar Macedonia would not have forged this new macedonian identity... + what they taught was that Albanians/Greeks/Bulgars are evil... and if you speak to the older generation they are full of blind dislike for others.. when in fact the Serbs committed the most atrocities againsts the population of Macedonia in the last 100 years..

Anyway what the serbs did in Macedonia is irrelevant, as for good Tito, I can name two of my relos who were taken to never be found and my great grandfather had to flee to the states from Titos love...just pointing out that I cant rely on communist sources, hence if you have any third party data then lets have a look at it.. :)

Ah the myth of Tito's time. I take it this is also when 2 million Albanians left Albania for Kosova and another 2 million for Germany, Switzerland, and the rest of Europe. This despite the fact that Albania had a population of only 1 million after the war and was totally sealed. Or could it be that since Kosova was the poorest in Jugoslavia Serbs and Albanians moved out; you know like they're doing now. And if you're a Serb in Kosova seeing that everywhere in Jugoslavia where Slavic was spoken was a much better place to live than Kosova then one would think the incentives would be higher to move out.

I have to agree with the Albanians that generally the Albanians are looked down on by the orthodox population... I see that in Macedonians but the attitude is slowly changing for the better.. When I go to maco, no one really cares about ethnic politics anymore.. As against 2002.. That's the reality.. Doesn't matter who owns what, what matters is who lives there now.. No one is better than the other.. Yes the Albos did a crap job during ottoman rule, the Serbs committed appalling atrocities in the Balkan wars and world war 1, and then the Albanians in world war 2.. But for recent times, post wwll I can't help to feel that if the Albanians weren't treated so poorly and had access to a proper education system I'm confident that a decent deal would have been put in place.. Take Macedonia for example, Yeah sure logically Albanians would prefer to be apart of Albania.. But they have accepted to live with orthodox people as they have done so in the past.. As for Albanian angel status.. Just check out the panda bar massacre 98 on the net.. One of many such Albanian massacres.. So both sides are to blame for petty actions.. But the Serb government had a big say in the status quo.. For the Albanian side.. They have the key to peace this time.. They can let the north go and move on, or they can hope for an operation storm to eventuate.. But I wouldn't bet on the second option as the Americans are moving forces to Asia now to confront an ever growing china...so interest in the Balkans is on the downer.. Hence thaci and co shouldn't make the same mistake as Milo and the boys..

Dacic mention League of Prizren 1878, arguing that since then Albanians wanted creation of Greater Albania. The truth is that League of Prizren was a response to salvage Albanian inhabited territories stretching as far as city of Nis central Serbia (many Kosovar Albanians have the surnames from the places that their grand-grandfathers have been expelled, scorched earth tactics during 1875-78). Serbia with the backing of Russia ethnically cleansed Albanians from those territories to prepare the ground for the Berlin Congress 1878 who approved massive Serb expansion in South Eastern Europe. Albanians were wiped out of central and southern Serbia and were never allowed to claim their rightful property.
Lastly Albanian territories during this period were attacked and annexed by; Serbia, Montenegro, Greece and Bulgaria, once again League of Prizren main aim was to defend as many Albanian inhabited territories as possible.
So Mr Dacic your proposal to redraw the Kosovo-Serbia border should take in account the rights and will of remaining Albanian inhabited towns and villages in Southern Serbia and their unwillingness to live under the laws of Republic of Serbia.
No to mention all those villages and towns in central Serbia that were cleansed of Albanians, if you choose to go as far back as that you might have Kosovo border near the city of Nis.

But for recent times, post wwll I can't help to feel that if the Albanians weren't treated so poorly and had access to a proper education system I'm confident that a decent deal would have been put in place..

But in Tito time Albanians had a lot of rights in Kosovo and they made Serbian population leave Kosovo (and one shouldn't expain their depature by their being so racist only). So Milosevic decided "unity and brotherhood" didn't work...

I do not understand why Serbia does not change, and move towards modest EU.

Never heard of this Mustafa Kruja guy. In 1942 Albania was ruled by Italians and Germans. Albanians never indeed saw Serbia as their state. Why would they and why should they. Same goes for Serbs. If they feel like that I'm more than ok with it. The thing though is that Serbs are notorious for their inat (spite), and in Kosova they've operated through spite, not reason or logic. Some elites in Serbia I suspect have realized that spite lead them to dumb moves. Indeed Serbia because of spite has played it's cards in the worst way possible. Out of spite it pissed of half of the world into bombing it. It had 10 years to propose what Dacic is so characteristically ( of Serbs) late proposing now and he'd get just that. Out of spite they pushed the west into our corner. It took the west 10 years to say yes to our request. For 10 years Sebs did nothing but further alienate them with talks of holy wars against the west(kostunica while president) and UNMIK=occupiers. Even now you're spiteful ;calling for peace but calling those you want peace with terrorists in the same sentence. There is no incentive whatsoever even for someone like me who's ok with partition to want to engage with people who can't seem to escape their spitefulnes. Why should we give credence to some of these ideas when we know that this spite would again cause you to make the next dumb move and shoot yourself in the foot again. Let's not even talk about the fact that now you gotta deal with the big dogs and these dumb moves only magnify themselves when it comes to their reaction. It is because of this spite and dumb moves that now you can't simply split things like you could 10 years ago with a simple deal amongst us. Instead ,out of spite you not only chose not to do that but also managed to piss off some major powers. Now you gotta go through them and ask for their permission even when you feel like farting. Good luck dealing with that.

Regarding the persecution of serbs post world war II, i dont have access to any third party data relating to this, im sure there would have been sporadic incidents as there were and are in Macedonia occasionally, though a collective process of extermination I cant verify.. I know the Serb academic circles released such reports.. but put simply I dont really believe anything when it comes communists.. If i wasnt for the communists the People of Vardar Macedonia would not have forged this new macedonian identity... + what they taught was that Albanians/Greeks/Bulgars are evil... and if you speak to the older generation they are full of blind dislike for others.. when in fact the Serbs committed the most atrocities againsts the population of Macedonia in the last 100 years..

Anyway what the serbs did in Macedonia is irrelevant, as for good Tito, I can name two of my relos who were taken to never be found and my great grandfather had to flee to the states from Titos love...just pointing out that I cant rely on communist sources, hence if you have any third party data then lets have a look at it.. :)

Ah the myth of Tito's time. I take it this is also when 2 million Albanians left Albania for Kosova and another 2 million for Germany, Switzerland, and the rest of Europe. This despite the fact that Albania had a population of only 1 million after the war and was totally sealed. Or could it be that since Kosova was the poorest in Jugoslavia Serbs and Albanians moved out; you know like they're doing now. And if you're a Serb in Kosova seeing that everywhere in Jugoslavia where Slavic was spoken was a much better place to live than Kosova then one would think the incentives would be higher to move out.

Serbia's like a heart-broken, jilted lover that just can't get over his girlfriend dumping him and calling the cops 12 years go. He calls his ex every name in the book to anyone who'll listen, bitterly outlining how she's so much worse off without him, and how much he hates her.
