Very good...
Americans are leaving,Russians are coming (Nis)...

Finally we Serbs will have a big guy behind us while the Albanians will loose their only "big guy" America behind them(forget UK,FR,Germany, they dont give a crap about you, relations with the nergy monopolist Russia and no1 economy China will be much more important for them!)

Without the West standing behind them, and that day will come as sure as the amen in the church, the Serbian army will reintagrete our Serbian province into Serbia and all those who where burning churches, supporting attacs on the Serbian police, behaving unconstitutionally will disappear from Kosovo

At that time ,even the public opinion of the West will be on our side...

Thats why we Serbs should NEVER EVER scrap UN1244 which guarantees that Kosovo is Serbia!

If you actually read the comments carefully you'd see that it wasn't me who brought up William Cohen, it was sj. So I really have no idea why you're quoting me as saying it.
(Ian, UK, 5 January 2012 15:16)

Has nothing to do with you or sj, just the name did strike me and I realized instantly one more victim who turned to be a perpetrator. I.e. father who survived the Holocaust or being prosecuted by the Soviet regime is not an excuse for son's crimes. Or even own later crimes.

Or being a war hero and being voted the 11th greatest Israeli ever is not an exuse to beat own chest about "entire Hungary under our economic control". That is not true to begin with, is nasty to continue with and makes me think about that mushroom called "szappanszagú pereszke".

Of course, US achieved its goal - the man they wanted is reposing at the bottom of the sea. As for the Afghans, if they want the Taliban, hey, it's up to them - it's not US' job to teach Afghans what to do with their country. So, if the Taliban are smart, lunatic, etc, that's Afghans' business to deal with.
(icj, 5 January 2012 04:19)

Your not very bright. For the last six years prior to his death Osama Bin Ladin was already irrelevant. But was’nt it the Taliban which was protecting or hiding the terrorist? You know 9/11, Twin Towers????? And now the same people will become the opposition????? The US was thrashed in Iraq and now an even bigger battle group called NATO is about to leave with its tail between its legs. Hello; are you brain dead?

Why, your Malaysian friend does not know yet the decision ?!

The camp will be closed, dear.
(icj1, 5 January 2012 04:14)

Thanks for making that informed statement. The latest from the US is that they intend to reduce the army thus making it more mobile and efficient. They will station 2500 marines in Darwin Australia to keep a watch on china.
I believe the Chinese are shaking in their boots. The last time the US was in Australia was during WW2 when there were no friendly countries in South East Asia.
I’m lisenting to Obama explaining why they are moving to Austrailia – “its not a strategy to contain China but to keep the waterway in South East Asia open”. The biggest load of BS I have heard today – I’m still laughing over that statement.

(miri, 4 January 2012 19:43)

No, in their task description, an attack by Serbia was never mentioned. Their task was to ensure safety for the people, and a safe return of (then Albanian) refugees to Kosovo. And, the things I mentioned before, like disarming the paramilitaries. Their taks changed, like we could see in 2004, their task includes much more. Nowadays, nobody can deny it, the roles changed, and Serbs and Serbian cultural heritage in Kosovo have to be protected against the Albanian mob.

Bring the Turks back into Kosovo!?... that would be either an incredibly huge mistake or someone plotting to increase tension and push the Serbs more. The only people who should be coming back to Kosovo are the several thousands who have been cleansed by the occupying Albanians, the Serbians! It would be really nice if some KFOR troops actually picked up a book once in a while and saw what they are really doing.... ie: The Forgotten 500

(USA United States of ALbania, 4 January 2012 15:42)

In which war did the so called Kosovar KLA throw out the Serb army? Was it the one on planet Alpha Centauri? Because it certainty did not happen in Kosovo. In fact even that little weasel Wesley Clarke could not do it – you do recall that he was removed 3 months earlier as head of NATO because he told William Cohen BS about the “heavy casualties he inflicted on the Serbs” and when the Serbs army left Cohen and others were horrified at the number of men and amount equipment that was left intact.
Like all Albanians you and the KLA hide behind mother, but mother will not be there for too long and I hate to tell you that the US is lying to their little mates. The moment the US leaves you and your Kosovars will be a long memory in that region.

My guess is the US/ KFOR/ NATO will remain in Kosovo until Kosovo has become a NATO member, that is obviously Pristina's and Washington's intention. That way the US doesn't have to fund a military base in Kosovo.
(Ian, UK, 4 January 2012 15:13)

Who is going to pay for all of this? Firstly, the US does not trust the Albanians no matter how you look at it. They see them as Muslims and nothing can change that.
Secondly, to maintain a military ready force the west would have to fund this body because the Albanians do not have money as they literally live hand to mouth now and without monthly injection of EU funds there would be starvation.
These rumors are not idle reports but fact. The US is not capable of fighting two wars simultaneously. To quote the New York Times where defence spending will be cut to the tune of “hundreds of billions of dollars across ground forces, navy, air force and the nuclear arsenal.” It goes on to say it involves warships. Combat aircraft, salaries, health benefits and retirements.”
“the US's formal strategy to fight two large adversaries at once - as it did during World War II against Nazi Germany in Europe and Japan in the Pacific - will also be surrendered.
NATO is a dying entity and as soon as it leaves Afghanistan it is finished as a fighting force. You may have noticed that the ground work to leave that country a “winner” has already started with claims that the Taliban becoming the opposition in a democratic government.
Call the Taliban mad, insane or fundamentalist lunatics, but the leadership is comprised of smart people and they know that they can call the shots knowing well that the US needs to leave and leave soon.
Wait until the full economic down turn hits the US and you will see even greater cut backs – they have to make a final decision on Camp Bondsteel soon or later.

In which war did the so called Kosovar KLA throw out the Serb army? Was it the one on planet Alpha Centauri? Because it certainty did not happen in Kosovo.

Eventually America will have to leave though, they cannot be the guarantor of Albanians occupation of Serbian land forever.

My question is all this talk about USA or Turkey manning the base I have a great solution. Let the Albanians and KLA control Bondsteel. Kosova is a independent country right?! Can't they take care of themselves?

Oh that's right, because if there were only Albanian bodies in Camp Bondsteel it would be blown up into bits and pieces. KLA cowards can't even fight for Kosovo for themselves. You are nothing without America....and you will end up with nothing, without America ;)

Americans are finaly waking up. He just got 21.4% of the vote yesterday, and his popularity is surging in the US. The military industrial complex is scared to death in the US, and are trying to smear him. Why? Because he talks common sense - he wants to stop being the world's policeman, he wants to stop all foreign aid, he wants to bring all US soldiers home, he wants to close the 180 military bases the US has around the world, he wants to cut 1 trillion dollars in spending next year, he is incorruptible and not a slave to corporate fascists, he knows the US is bankrupt and he is trying to save the country. And, best of all, his popularity and the fervor of his young supporters is unmatched. And you know what else? Have a look.

That's right, he knew back in 1999 that Osama Bin Laden was supporting your KLA terrorists, and was totaly against the illegal and criminal bombing of Serbia. He knows who you albanians are, and I have no doubt he will pull out of Kosovo and close Bondsteel right away, if he wins the Presidency. He will also rescind the recognition of your fake, illegal, and immoral 'state'. So be scared albanians, be very very scared, because your days of being protected by war criminals in Washington and Berlin are numbered, the American public is finaly waking up. It looks like they finaly may put an incorruptible, honest man, in the White House.

If you actually read the comments carefully you'd see that it wasn't me who brought up William Cohen, it was sj. So I really have no idea why you're quoting me as saying it.

Wait until the full economic down turn hits the US and you will see even greater cut backs – they have to make a final decision on Camp Bondsteel soon or later.

Why, your Malaysian friend does not know yet the decision ?!

The camp will be closed, dear.

"Their task was and is above all to guarantee that Serbia does not attack. Don't you read comments here, even in this simple thread (Ari Gold) saying that once the KFOR forces leave the K-Albanians are in the mercy of Serb military?"

Yes, please stop.

(miri, 4 January 2012 19:43)

It's the weired opinion of some Serbian extremists, just like other people in this simple thread dream of the USA - the United States of Albania. LOL. You know, forums are always a good place for lunatics :)

Call the Taliban mad, insane or fundamentalist lunatics, but the leadership is comprised of smart people and they know that they can call the shots knowing well that the US needs to leave and leave soon.
(sj, 4 January 2012 23:26)

Of course, US achieved its goal - the man they wanted is reposing at the bottom of the sea. As for the Afghans, if they want the Taliban, hey, it's up to them - it's not US' job to teach Afghans what to do with their country. So, if the Taliban are smart, lunatic, etc, that's Afghans' business to deal with.

Their task to guarantee safety and security to all people in Kosovo, of all ethnic origine, while they guarantee security to Albanians only.

and Serbs by removing the barricades which make very difficult the freedom of movement of Serbs

Can someone tell me any good reason for the US to stay in a place like Kosovo? They left Iraq, they will leave Afganistan, and Kosovo has less than 5% value of these countries.
(Comm. Parrisson, 4 January 2012 19:37)

Simple... because 1.000 soldiers today are much cheaper than, say, 10.000 tomorrow

Thanks for making that informed statement. The latest from the US is that they intend to reduce the army thus making it more mobile and efficient. They will station 2500 marines in Darwin Australia to keep a watch on china.
I believe the Chinese are shaking in their boots. The last time the US was in Australia was during WW2 when there were no friendly countries in South East Asia.
I’m lisenting to Obama explaining why they are moving to Austrailia – “its not a strategy to contain China but to keep the waterway in South East Asia open”. The biggest load of BS I have heard today – I’m still laughing over that statement.

My only regret is the tradition that you don't oppose a sitting president from your own party. Clinton would make a fantastic president.
