UN Resolution 1244 does not recognise the illegal institutions of the self declared government in Pristina (since declared in 2008) and reaffirms Serbia's territorial integrity.
(Niall O'Doherty, 4 January 2012 19:34)

Dear, those institutions are built in accordance with Kosovo's constitution, which is in accordance with Kosovo's UDI, which, as we all know, is in accordance with Resolution 1244. So there is no illegality whatsoever (under international law).

Of course, they may be illegal under Serbian law...

If shamefully turning over to the Hague of Milosevic, Karadzic and Mladic posed no moral dilemma then surrendering two petty thugs, the Veselinovic brothers, should cause no lose of sleep for Serbia.

Duly elected? Unfortunately, when UN1244 was compiled, they forgot to think of representatives like Thaci and his government who came in power in rigged, faked and manipulated election :)
(J.Oker, 4 January 2012 18:32)
The elections that put the people in office that adopted the laws of Kosovo were held by UNMIK, with observers from OSCE. It is the recent elections that were suspect of irregularities.

Thaci is not Sebian citizen, therefore there is no extradition treaty between Serbia and Kosova. Veselinovic brothers are Kosova citizens.

You are in mistake. There is no such thing like "Kosova citizens" because Kosovo is not a state.

agim how do you claim them to be citizens of Kosova? Presumably they were born in Yugoslavia or Serbia (unless they're under the age of 3 or 4). They would need to apply for Kosovo citzenship, which if they were born in the Yugoslavian, or Serbian province or region of Kosovo they would br granted, but there is no automatic clause that makes them citizens of Kosova without application.
My father was born in Croatia and my grandfather in Bosnia. My grandfather had to apply for his Bosnian citizenship (which was granted by birthright), and my father hasn't bothered to apply for Croatian citizenship as his current life path does not see him moving back to his land of birth. In both cases my elders were citizens of Yugoslavia and had (have) to apply to get a citizenship of a nation that didn't exist upn their birth.

so these two gentlemen may not be citizens of Kosova. and certainly are not unless they filed to appropriate paperwork.

Maybe a check of facts is in order. Whatever you want to call Kosovo, indpendent, Serbian province, UN protectorate, UNSC severs all police, justice, and legal obligations of Kosovo to Serbia. As per UNSC1244 all laws governing Kosovo are the ones enacted by the duly elected representatives of Kosovo. Whether it be by Kosovo or Eulex they are to be judged by the laws of Kosovo and not Serbia.
It is ironic that you site UNSC1244 to prove your point when in reality it is the very document that disproves your point.

'Kosova' as per consitution of the Republic of Serbia is an autonomous province. It is also recognised as part of Serbia under international law (UN Resolution 1244 and Helsinki Final Agreement 1976 which guarantees the sovereignty of all states). All citizens of Kosovo are citizens of Serbia and are the responsibility of Serbia.

Belgrade will not recognise an arrest warrant for one of its citizens from a breakaway province which acts as a state and has no legal foundation whatsoever. 'Kosova' has no power to issue an arrest warrant of any kind as far as Serbia and international law is concerned.

Why Serbia likes to use the middle man when it comes to Kosova? I think it will be better that Kosova/o government and Serbian government deal directly with each other for the sake of everybody. I know Kosova/o is ready, is Serbia ready to deal with reality???

Isn't there a Serbian arrest warrant our against Thaci for several criminal activities? Pristina insitutions should be more cooperative and extradite alleged criminals if they want to become credible.
