"There's none. And maybe that's the reason why these statistics are not about south Kosovo: According to the mafia laws - the only laws valid in this part of Kosovo - there is no crime at all :)"

Absolutely. So would you agree that the strong connection between organised crime & the state could be the main problem in BOTH northern and southern Kosovo?

What exactly is the value of crime statistics in places where the police is an active part of organized crime?

"LOL so I all it takes to be classified as a 'lawless region' is a few cases of car thefts and illegal parking :)"

What exactly is the value of crime statistics in places where the police is an active part of organized crime?

Is this because more perpetrators were arrested throughout 2011, therefore there were less criminals to commit crime?

I think it's because more Albanians decided to stay south of the Ibar.

Medić singled out illegal parking in Kosovska Mitrovica and Zvečan as a "particular problem".

That's really a horrible and serious crime! KPS must join all forces to fight it! Those minor things like the blooming drug trafficking can be neglected, for a while :)
