If the international community and Bosnin muslims wants to avoid another bloody war then they should leave the Dayton agreement the way it is. If they continue to insist that serbs become 3rd class citizens, by denying them the right to self determination, then RS should vote to secede.

@MikeC: I don't think your war threads give anyone sleepless nights. Fortunately the RS cannot afford another war for financial reasons! The worst the interntational community can expect is something like this current carnival at the barricades down in Kosovo. In other words: a few hooligans partying on rakija & slivovic.

Ironically RS has abused each one of those values in its inception. Sovereignty under Dayton refers to the integrity of BiH's borders, the internal borders are open to review. RS is not a sovereign state even though it pretends it is, it is but a part of a larger sovereign state. As to the longevity of RS an entity born of corruption will end up devouring itself.

It is the so-called international community that cannot afford another war for financial reasons and that is why Dodik and his supporters have no sleepless nights as the RS timely pulls away. Eveybody's breaking up these days. What a wonderful 2012 it's going to be.

@ Leo: The Eufor Operation Althea still hasn't ended. If necessary, the remaining troops in BiH can quickly be increased by Kfor & the so-called Over the Horizon Forces from France, Italy, the UK & Germany. These countries' military budget's certainly still strong enough to end any military escalation in poorhouses such as the RS. I really wouldn't worry about it.
