Lol,Leonidas.

You really think you hit the nerve,do you?
Don't really care for Turks or for Greeks or for
Kurds. No surprise Greeks ,same as Srbs call Albanians settlers. You Balkan powers wannabes.
Albanians have contributed with there blood for modern Greek state.Don't bring up Ottoman army had Alb.solders BS,in the end they were Alb. against Alb.
Albanians will have there our own way, because they are in the just way,and we have allies. The truth is that we don't pick allies, they pick us.And this is what hit your nerves.
Good luck with your Kurdistan.

Leonides, never agrue with an Albanian, it's like peeing into the wind. Albanians only see their own point of view, and only care about themselves. They only care about preserving their 10th century tribal laws - and the EU is supporting these tribal apes, go figure the price of geo-political greed.

Leonidas,
Your comments as usual are spineless.
You condem the Turks for wanting to push the Kurds out in the 90's,as you said. But you fail to condem serbia when it did same with Albanians in kosova.again you are against north cipriots,Turks, but you support Serbs in north kosova.you see,2same scenario but 2 different views.

I know I hit a nerve with the Albanians in this forum when I condemn the actions of their Turkish brothers.FYI delon the Greek Cypriots have a history of 4000 years in Cyprus unlike the Turkish ones with a history of less than 400 years. Some difference don't you think? The similarities that I see both in Cyprus and Serbia are the dismembering of both of them in favour of the settlers Turks and Albanians.Or the Albanian are Illyrians, are they?

What about the Kurds? Have you read the stories of famous Salahadin,Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb in his battles against the crusaders?Well he was Kurdish and the Kurds are going back as the third millennium B.C.Do the Kurds have the right to have their own country?I think 30 million of Kurds have the right to have their own country.

Bombing innocent civilians! I think NATO needs to respond. Ooops! I forgot. Killing civillians is ok if you are a NATO member and as long as you allow America to have bases on your territory.

It's laughable for Turkey to promise there won't be any cover up on the deaths of the Kurdish civilians.A nation that is refusing to agknowledge the genocide of 1.5 million Armenians is not going to admit the killing of 35 civilians.

However actions speak more than Turkish promises. In the 1990s the Turkish government did try to'push out' the Kurds, with a 'scorched/level earth' policy during which many villages were destroyed, 40,000 were killed, and three million displaced.

For many Turks, any Kurdish request for national recognition - whether to be called Kurdish citizens of Turkey rather than Turks, or for a federation, or to use the Kurdish language in schools or in the media - is perceived as an attack on the Turkish nation and its territory.Yet Turkey is loudly championing the rights of 100000 Turkish Cypriots and for most Turks the idea of Turkish Cypriots accepting minority status in a Greek-Cypriot dominated Republic of Cyprus is anathema.
But anyone who champions the rights of 20million Kurds in Turkey risks being accused of separatism and even terrorism under Article 301.

I think the Kurdish independence will gain a new momentum not only in Turkey but also in Iraq.It looks likely the loose federation in Iraq will break up not in the distant future and the oil rich Kurdish Federation in the north of Iraq will provide a new impetus to Kurdish aspirations.
