There will be no more integration of countries into the EU any time soon. Who are these countries, anyway? The EU has so many financial problems at the moment, how can they even have the gaul to talk about integration into their failing Union? What am I not understanding here? The EU talks about integration of Balkan countries, which they cannot do - the pro-EU politicians in the Balkans talk about EU integration which they know cannot happen - are we being made fools of, or have they (politicians on all sides) not figured out a new course yet? Jesus!. I am sick and tired of this EU crap - PLEASE, Belgrade, lead your people, and do not just try and attach yourselves to something. I am disgusted with our (Serb) leadership. All that I have seen them able to do in the last few years is gain weight. Bravo, debelguze, you have done nothing but improve your own fortunes, while people go hungry in your country.

"He told daily Večernje novosti that Kosovo had never been a condition for Serbia's European integration, underlining that it was only normal since five EU countries had not recognized Kosovo."

So what that 5 EU countries haven't recognizecd Kosova yet. Greece is the only country that does not recognize Macedonia with its name and yet Macedonia can't enter the EU?
The man is confused. 22 countries recognize Kosova which means that 22 countries recognize a different Serbia than those 5.

"Prime Minister (Mirko) Cvetković’s government managed to preserve financial stability, as well as social peace, although many other countries richer than ours did not succeed in that. I am sure the voters will know how to appreciate that," he was quoted as saying.

LOL! They bought their way out of it by exceeding our debt limit. Yes, the path to the EU brings unsustainable debt.

Lol.. Vojvodina is not a country.. I guess there are plans to make it one..

I wonder how much many this hack gets from EU/US to agitate for independence..

yes The EU should be a goal eventually but the EU should deal with its problems and Serbia wits own right now.. Entering EU for any country now as it seems that Greece and some others might get kicked out is pure LUNACY.

I`s not only Kosovo. I wanted (and still want ) to invest in Serbia. But it´s not easy for an investor. You have corruption everywhere and the laws are a mess. But if i will see that Serbia has a chance to enter the EU, i will build my factory there. If not, i probably will do it in Croatia.
