Turkey and Russia reach deal on S. Stream

Firstly, Russia now CONTROLS the Ukraine completely plus they already have a pipeline going through that country. Secondly, the Southstream pipeline bypasses Ukraine and avoids recurring disputes over gas supplies that have happened in the past.
The main pipe goes through Bulgaria then a branch line goes to Greece and then to southern Italy. The main pipe then continues to Serbia, which will be the hub for that region – branch lines will go to Macedonia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro and Croatia. It then continues to Hungary then Slovenia then Northern Italy.
The Russians could have very easily placed the pipeline in the international part of the Danube River continued up to Serbia etc. But they want to control Bulgaria. This business with the Turks is only for show as the pipeline does not have to go anywhere near Turkey.

Then why are you clinging on to the US/EU? For Brazil the US maybe a strategic partner, but not for China or Russia. Today China exports only 15% of productions to the US as the rest is consumed at home. You can note on the back of a postage stamp the business done between Russia and the US.

Just mix Mãmãligã with Þuicã 1:1 and pur down the mix in the tube. You are tha man.
You may ask your Albanian relatives to add donkey manure to that mix. I am sure, Russia will be scared and will run away.

Seems like Russia is now really willing to realize the project. But if it will be operational at the end of 2015, as planned, I have some doubts about.

This is not good. Turkey shouldn't let them build SouthStream, it would be better if the EU built Nabucco so we wouldn't need to rely on Russian Gas, not good at all. It is much safer to rely on Turkmenistan and Azerbaijani gas.

This is not good. Turkey shouldn't let them build SouthStream, it would be better if the EU built Nabucco so we wouldn't need to rely on Russian Gas, not good at all. It is much safer to rely on Turkmenistan and Azerbaijani gas.
