Simple, Kosovo is not a country. Its a province of Serbia under 1244. For you maybe its a country, but not for the vast majority of the world and most important of all, not the UNSC.
(Staff, 29 December 2011 19:13)

Dear, I did not say that Kosovo is a country. Let's assume is a black hole or whatever. My point was that if Thaci was doing the same thing that Serbia did, that makes that thing bilateral, not unilateral. I know that the paranoia about Kosovo being a country stops the reasoning process in some people's minds, but I don't think the above is so hard to understand.

ICJ1, you are becoming a total bore woth your anti north kosovo/serbia comments. You really should try and become more open minded than the pristin (walt disney productions) government and the mighty "police of the world" country, just don't mention syria, north korea, china, most of africa. let's pretend they do not exist and we will bully the other nations that we can ATTEMPT to deal with.
(Iggy bhoy, 29 December 2011 23:38)

Oh dear, I did not understand a thing about those countries and what you were trying to say... Anyway, I don't think I have said anything anti-Serb, anti-Albanian, or anti-Kosovo (including its North, South, East, West or Center) - I just state the facts and cite others; if you don't like them don't shoot the messenger. However nobody is forcing you to read boring things....

How many times and how many different situations can Serbia say it wasn't our fault. Maybe if Serbia would one day say we are accountable for what we have done then they would no longer be the "poor victim"!!!!

"EU should have “more neutral” approach to Kosovo issue"

What would that mean? In Albania we say neither fish nor flash/meat. In other words it means instability, insecurity and destability. Do you use the above saying also in Serbian?

and to make its silly point the minister says

“It is especially necessary to have a status neutral approach, especially because not all EU member states have recognize Kosovo’s independence,”

How about if these countries which I call them EU weakest links at some point will recognise officially Kosovo independence what will Serbia say? Will we have a kind of comment from minister stating "the whole EU was against Serbia's argument about Kosovo so we had no choice but to give up"

once again I enjoy reading your comments, they are very well balanced and factual whereas ICJ1, you are becoming a total bore woth your anti north kosovo/serbia comments. Forget about what they should have. The reality is the don't have so start dealing with the situation as is instead of as how you wish it to be.
Tell EU to take a hike. You don't want to board Titanic and move on.

Does Mr Ivica Dacic know that Germany run Europe?

EU has a neutral approach since there are countries which does not recognize Kosovo (yet). This is not your problem, Dacic, but the fact that the EU is simply comprised by countries which can rightfully veto any possible new member for very sane reasons and which are absolutely independent from EU decisions. You want that those countries forgot that they recognize Kosovo? Well, then you and the rest of Serbia is more delusional than measurable. Won't happen! Deal with reality or cancel EU membership plans. Whatever you chose, is good. Just don't ever think that EU and Kosovo will ever happen.

So how can Thaci's move be unilateral if he was doing the same thing that Serbia had done ?!

“We ended up without the candidacy in December primarily due to tensions in northern Kosovo that were caused by (Kosovo Prime Minister) Hashim Thaci who unilaterally sent his police and customs officers to the administrative crossings with Serbia and we ended up in a situation to practically have someone else decide about our fate,” Dačić stated.

Well, Serbia too had sent the police/customs officers at the crossings before Thaci did it. So how can Thaci's move be unilateral if he was doing the same thing that Serbia had done ?!
