According to him "great progress" means "no more Serbs". The North hasn't made any progress - there are still Serbs there and they are not leaving yet.

You need to remove the "" from "no more Serbs" because those are YOUR words. We know that you love to see "no more Serbs" in North Kosovo that's why you equate "great progress" with "no more Serbs", but that does not mean that everybody thinks like you.

Liar! it is clear that you are serving the separatists in Pristina. thanks to the gallant Serbs who stand up against the occupiers.

It looks like the Serbian government has abandoned the Serbs of North Kosovo. Even people such as Bogdanovic and Ivanovic who are from Kosovo have major differences with the four mayors of the northern towns. It is just a short matter of time that the MUP who are inbedded in North Mitrovica will be called back to Belgrade and then game over.

Great Drews. Then why is there no freedom of movement for Serbs south of the Ibar, you lying hypocrite! How come they need military escorts to go grocery shopping, or to simply go for a walk?
(Dragan, 29 December 2011 17:15)

To my knowledge, there are no barricades in those places. But, I'm sure KFOR will intervene if anybody were to build barricades in South Kosovo similarly to the North where some people playing with logs in the roads are doing whatever they can to make very difficult the freedom of movement of K. Serbs to Serbia and viceversa. still K. Serbs should be able to travel and trade without difficulties with Serbia.

“Still, I see great progress in all of Kosovo, except the north, where things have not changed much since 1999,” the KFOR commander pointed out.

Stopping Milosevic, or obeying his mandate?

Are you trying to say that Drews is protecting poor Albanians from Milosevic in Northern Kosovo now and KSerbs are trying to hamper his activity by building the barricades?

'Freedom of movement is an aim of our mission and we will not accept any other outcome.'

“Still, I see great progress in all of Kosovo, except the north, where things have not changed much since 1999,” the KFOR commander pointed out.

Yea sure very nice progress 50% of albans unemlpyed and more than this living in poverty. Organized crime, corruption and drug capitol of europe. ZERO production/economy! alban terrorists in government (if you wanna call it government). Ethnically cleansed of all non-alban population. Non stop terrorist attacks on Serbs. All infrastructure stolen from Serbia.

“Stopping EULEX, the European rule of law mission, is unacceptable to KFOR. Freedom of movement is an aim of our mission and we will not accept any other outcome. Blocking traffic is not a sustainable situation on the ground,” he said, dismissing claims KFOR came under pressure from political circles in Priština to use force to remove the barricades.

Spoken like a true nazi occupier!

“The Kosovo Serbs are not our enemies and they are well aware of this,” Drews concluded.

Ya sure we really believe you!

A true success is measured by the size of its barricades?

"Admittedly billions hasnt been poured in and wasted,"

Lalala land for you dude, .5 billion EURO a year on 20.000 people who want to be anywhere else than Kosovo ;)

"we arent ruled by terrorist drug dealers who fixed their election,"

Oh yeah your terrorists never handed out wheat and tvs for votes...

"but we will be fine, don't worry about us."

Good, nobody is.

"We won't be looking for handouts."

Neither to pay back what you got right?

"RS is a good example of what can be achieved in N Kosovo."

Genocide?

"And Erhard, you are our enemy, you made it so."

Thats what the Nato mission did, and is still doing. Aggressors are usually more in number, like any other part of history.

Please, where shall this 'progress' be? Elections were more successfully manipulated than before, the drug trafficking increased this year, or what else? Do you mean more investments, more jobs? Well, not in Kosovo.
