PM: Govt. continues its "both Kosovo and EU" policy

The only course Serbia can take is the absolute recognition of Kosova. Are you Serbs that thick that you believe that you can have K & M and still be an E.U mZember. No chance.

Curious, have you ever read the 6 point plan or do you just blindly wave it like a banner similar to 1244?
The plan is not a bad one, it was only rejected by the Albanians because it was done without them. It was the result of discussions between Moon and the Serbs. But if you read it all it says is basically there will be dialogue. It says Kosovo will be a single customs unit and it says that international customs agents would immediately return to the 2 gates that were burnt down by Serbs,(it does not offer an exclusivity to only international agents though).
Serbs wave 1244 because someone told them that it guaranteed Kosovo to forever be apart of Serbia, but it doesn't, even the ICJ says so and the whole blueprint of 1244 is to build a completely autonomous govt(free of Serbian control) in Kosovo with the future status to be determined. The last part is explicit and is verbatim. 1244 offers NO rights to Serbia within the boundaries of Kosovo. Even your own govt has said that the one section about allowing a few police in was never acted on and would be an impossibility now.
So when you grandstand with comments such as this one has to wonder do you really know what you are saying or jsut following the nationalistic moment?

This comment is an update on a comment that I wrote and it gives additional information that I would have liked to put in my other comment, but as an aging man, my memory is not as good as it used to be.

It is the right thing to pursue both Kosovo and the European Union, as long as everyone knows that Every word of the Serbian Constitution, and Every word of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, and Every word of the United Nations Six Point Plan for Kosovo, Always comes before anything to do with the European Union.

This holds true even if Serbia never joins the European Union, because it proves that it is not the fault of Serbia, and because some European Union Countries want that Serbia to join the European Union with its Province of Kosovo.

Furthermore, if those Kosovo Albanians, who want to join the European Union, know that they can only join the European Union with Serbia, then some of them may not want independence, and that can only help the Serbian cause, and a Patriotic Serbian Government is needed for that.

It is the right thing to pursue both Kosovo and the European Union, as long as everyone knows that Every word of the Serbian Constitution, and Every word of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, and Every word of the United Nations Six Point Plan for Kosovo Always comes before anything to do with the European Union.

Well, somehow the average salary in Kosovo of about €100 must be reached - easiest way is to do it by spending donor money on unneeded public jobs.

I would like to respectfuly remind you that thoughts of a country's Prime Minister do not necesseraly represent the thoughts of all it's citizens. Reading the news reports and discerning the essence from them seem to be too much of an efort for many readers. I do hope you, sir, are not one of them.

My dear, you forgot that there is a Serbian version of Resolution 1244, ICJ's decision, 6-point plan, etc., etc. That is what Yet Another J S was referring to. So he/she does know what he/she is speaking about.

But it is only you(Serbs) that are saying that Kosovo can only join the EU with Serbia, it is not the EU saying this. I do not think that anyone, even the countries that have not recognized Kosovo for their own reason are tying Kosovo to Serbia as an all or none proposal. There has been very little pressure placed on the nonrecognizing countries by the majority (at this point it is not an issue, Kosovo is not ready) however should situations change with Serbia and it backs away from the goal of joining I think you will see a huge increase in the pressure.
Just as you have seen Serbia an acceleration over the past 2 years you will see that focus turn to Kosovo if Serbia starts backing away.
