Why, EA? The Serbs don't recognize Kosovo as an independent Albanian state. Can't the Albanians be a bit more pragmatic in their approach towards the Serbs? Isn't Pristina the one that wants to form a multi-ethnic society? You can't achieve that if you keep doing eye for an eye.

I appreciate your comment. How would you feel if your neighbour ignores or belittle you? The fact is that there has been a bloody war in Kosovo with many civilians casulties and all has been orchastrated by Serbian state. These facts are not easy to bear and Serbian current behaviour is as "nothing has happened". That is why I insist that Serbia must recognise officially Kosovo independence first and enter in serious talks with Kosovo authorities regarding the rights of respective minorities to EU standards. But at present noone in Serbian politics has got the guts to tell the truth to Serbian people only a couple of opposition leaders.

This is not great, but sounds pretty satisfactory.

All cars coming from Kosovo must dispose of all evidence of nationhood there and replace it with something acceptable to Belgrade. You must stop, remove your license plate and replace it with another license plate. How many people are going to do that? How many Serbs with cars in Kosovo are going to get independent Kosovo license plates?

Not only will this work now, but also into any possible future.

Unfortunately the Albanians are the same in Albania – they believe for an eye for an eye etc. You only have to travel through the rural regions to see people plowing fields but carry guns in fear of an ancient blood feud that may go back 70 or 80 years
Angela Merkel revealed the EU’s plan in that the Albanians have to be given free movement and then allowed to seek work in Serbia proper.
Now for a people that were tortured and killed by the Serbs these same so called victims now are only too will to travel to Serbia proper and look for work.

These facts are correct, but unfortunately, it's a fact, too, that in Kosovo, as of today, war criminals and other criminals who benefited from the chaotic situation during war times are still in power. This is why I insist that Kosovo has to clean itself from those people if it wants to become a real state instead of a black whole and a hotbed of crime in the Balkans. You know, Thaci talking about 'law and order' in the North is as a credibla as a doctor who praying abstinence, being an alcoholic himself.

This is Angela Merkel making that statement not SJ. How many factories have opened up in Kosovo? NOT ONE and when there was employment it was the Serbians who brought industry to that region, but how mnay have your western friends done that for you?
Yes Serbia has currently high unemployment but you see Merkel is looking ahead a little and realizes that Serbia proper is where industry is opening up – she is talking about tomorrow not today mate.
Yes there are Serbians with Master degrees unemployed and you also have throughout the US teachers some with 3 degrees UNEMPLOYED – fired because the States cannot afford to employ them any longer – the US unemployment is anywhere between 25% and 30%
