Russian opposition rallies in Moscow

Thousands of people rallied Saturday in downtown Moscow to protest recent parliamentary elections.

LOL perhaps your confusing Serbian protests with Albanian elections in Kosovo.

Can't say for sure but I think the police have undercut the number by a bit maybe 100,000 or so.
This many poeple openly protesting the govt in Russia is significant.
They need to take counting lessons from Serbia. Serbs can get a mass of 10,000 protestors from a 500 person village.
Reminds me of the 2008 "peaceful" gathering in Belgrade as I was watching on the international news and they said 50,000 people were particapting and then they switched to the Serbian announce on the ground and they said more than 2 million people were there.
