John,

Being British, you should know that the Pound's been tanking the last 10 years against the (tanking) Euro

How can foreign governments get so many people to do their bidding but the people within the country themselves can't get enough interest for the genuinely homegrown patriotic stands?
(ida, 22 December 2011 18:52)

Because, fortunately, more and more people become smart enough to give a sh*t about stupid 'patriotism' and prefer to elect a government that tries to provide a better future and living standards for them and their families.

Sure. What else? How could 'recognition of Kosovo' a formal condition for new members when 5 existing EU members don't recognize the unilateral self-proclaimed state of Kosovo?

Who cares about 5 out of 27, soon to be 28? These 5 will crawl very soon.

There is a proverb back here in Germany:

"Jealousy must be earned."

Judging from German-haters here, it appears that Germans are brilliant, hard-working and successful. Well, that would only reflect their economic situation. Kudos to them. They definitely earned it.

Germans are all self stuffed porkers only interested in themselves, they shouldn't be allowed an Army after what their last one got up to.

Why aren't Serbs working harder to rid Serbia of this regime? It seems only when the CIA is training and backing Serbs do they have an organized, substantial, persistent and successful protest and resistance.

The western imposed puppet regime in perpetual damage control-mode. Every day with this regime is a deeper cut in our backs and an humiliating insult to our intelligence. "The regime occupying Belgrade must vanish from the page of time" -to the dustbin of history, eventually. Give them a great push in whatever shame "elections" their masters have in store..

Leading EU member...Germany!
I'm sure France and the UK and others would disagree.
I would take Frau Merkel to Kragulevac and invite her to see the memorials to what the one generation of previous Germans done in the Balkans.
Go away Germans, nobody likes you and nobody ever will.

I used to like this guy, Jeremic. Now realizing he is living in LALA Land.

When the leading EU member- Germany- states, that you need to abolish your institutional rights in Kosovo in order to enter the EU... it is very explicit. Give up, or do not enter. Can't get more plain spoken than that. Any other understanding is delusional.

Discussions should be placed on how to increase investment in Serbia, and development and forget about the EU. It will not exist in 5 years.
