Oh my god, now even the other side of political parties start with stupid conspiracy theories. Why not simply accept the will of the voters? Unlike in some other countries, the last elections in Serbia have been fair, transparent, and without manipulations.

About 'Buying Telekom Serbia and EPS cheap': Serbia should put a clause in the constitution to sell state-owned companies only in a transparent tender/auction with several bidders. Only then you can reach a realistic market price. The shady method used when selling NIS should be a warning.

Serbia should stop second guessing itself and go with it's gut. As far as Russia is concerned....this is bittersweet for me as where was Russia four years ago....hvala ali ne hvala.

I wonder whose puppet the LSV wants to turn Serbia into?

Remember with the policies these people want Serbia would rehabilitate ethnic German collaborators. Something the Czechs and Poles never did to their ethnic German collaborators.

As I walk around London it looks more like a Third-World capital than a major European city. Most of the people I see on the streets, trains, tube trains and buses are from Africa, India or China. The only Europeans are Polish or Latvians. The English are fleeing London, mush as the Serbs fled Kosovo.
(Michael Thomas, 21 December 2011 19:02)

I have two work colleagues who are also close friends and both from the UK and have now settled in Australia because of the massive changes in their country. Both worked for several years in Asia and when their children reached school age they were considering returning home. Their wives went first and after 3 months returned. Needless to say they could not believe the changes.

And they used the exact same words “London looks more like a Third-World capital than a major European city”.

'This would make Serbia Russia's province, which (leader of the Serbian Progressive Party) Tomislav Nikolić and individuals similar to him dream of, Čanak said and underscored that LSV will fight to prevent Serbia from becoming anyone's province.'

What a fool and buffoon. Serbia is right now behaving like a German province, and thank God for Russia because they are the only ones defending Serbian interests in Kosovo. I'm sure Canak, who is a separatist, was told by Berlin to say this.
My advice to him is to shut up. We know who are friends are and who our enemies are, and Canak is working for the enemies of Serbia.

He is suggesting that if we have a pro-Russian government that he would support seperatism and a possible independent Vojvodina.

I've never been one to believe that this would happen, but its not great to hear this implication.

Seems obvious that Russian are more Pro Serbian than the current stock of Serbian politicians.

But that is neither here nor there. The fundamental root of today's problem both in Serbian and Kosovo is continued external interference with the internal struggeles of a UN Nation state, summarized with an occupation of Serbia by "western peace loving" nations. Simply put, the whole of Europe has been dooped and converted into following the footsteps of Heir Merkel and the boots of German mercenaries. Europe has been invaded and overun once again by this invading force,.sublime and less overt as their Nazi brothers from Father Adolf...yet the results are the same...domination. The only force capable of countering this weight is Russia and certainly Serbia should side with the nation that has it's interests in sight, rather than the hired henchmen ruling Europe via Berlin dictation from Paris to Rome.

Serbia and albanians need to figure out how to co exist in Kosovo...enough is enough. Either we decide together how to move Kosovo forward in a negotiated settlement, void of external meddleing, that has mutual ups and consessions on/from both sides, or we basicallly agree that another round of war and death is the only viable alternative..condeming another generation to suffering and lost hope. Neither side is blameless, neither side holds the beacon of innocence...we share in the guilt, we share in the misery of our eariler mistakes...we need to share in the soltuion. Let's get in on...let's end this destructive conflict.

I wouldn't want the current puppets to be replaced by other puppets but Serbia will undeniably benefit from closer relations with Russia. Additionally, the events in liberated Northern Kosovo fell into Russia's lap because Tadic and the EU are not protecting Serbs. And what is all this silly blabber about becoming "European"? Serbs have always been "European". The country didn't just float in from Africa. And I'm tired of the lie that doesn't consider Russians to be "European" ? Anybody been to London and St. Petersburg lately? What city was more "European"? Who making up the rules about what it means to be "European"?

Canack, your LSV, like yourself, has little relevance in Serbian politics. So please put a zipper on it. You have done nothing for Serbia, or Vojvodina, since you have been in office, but gain weight. So many EU drum beaters in Serbia, that one tends to lose count.

How stupid are the people of Serbia? I'm not even Serbian and even I know your current government is OWNED by foreigners. When was the last time the government of Serbia actually did something good for their OWN people? Your most prized businesses have been sold off to foreign corporations. Your military (if you can even call it that anymore) was dismantled. Your own people are applying for Russian citizenship hoping ANYONE will help them since their own government only seems to be telling the people one thing, but doing the exact opposite. There are so many different parties in Serbia, its a HUGE mess that its hard to believe it wasn't intentionally created to keep the people divided! Wake up Serbs!!!

If you don't know by now who CAN trust... I think by now its pretty obvious who you CANNOT. Friends don't ROB their friends. Friends don't LIE to their friends. Friends dont KILL their friends!!!

Nato is NOT your friend!

You are correct, Leo. Last time I was in London, I thought I was in Saudi Arabia. It was hard to see a true Londoner. Serbia is a part of Europe, we just are not a part of the failing European Union. Is that a bad thing, no. Will we side with Russia, or China, or who knows who? Time will tell. All I know, with friends like Germany, you can keep that putrid EU.
