The Western powers have absolutely no desire in seriously pursuing the organ trafficking case because it would implicate them directly vis a vis their dealings with the KLA. As far as the Americans are concerned Russia is the enemy. And Serbia by association is an appendage of Russia and therefore just as much the enemy. This attitude will fundamentally never change. The Serbian political class need to formulate an agenda that reflects this residual antipathy. Do business with both spheres of influence, improve the quality of life of your long suffering populace, and put this unhealthy obsession with the EU on the backburner. My feeling is the EU needs Serbia more than Serbia needs the EU. They will only stop blackmailing Serbia when the government gets wise and stops grovelling. You cannot do business from a perpetual position of weakness.

I'm so tired of the Serbian officials coming up with different stories and in the end as always no success . Like accusing the freedom fighters KLA for committing crimes ,but the world is not stupid , they saw who was killing who . OSCE was there during the 98-99 investigating all the massacres committed by druged Serbian and Russian paramilitaries, killing kids , woman and elderly people . Let the investigators do their job about so called organ trafficking , let them investigate , Albania welcomes the international investigators to go in and see if there was such of thing done .
Serbian officials understand that they have no choice but accept the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo, but they are so afraid that some kind of Serbian mafia will threat on them like they did Cedomir Jocanovic . What happened to Jeremic running his mouth at UNSC about Kosovo not to be recognized as independent state by other countries , get over it , stop acting democrat when you know what kind of radical you are ,and now you fall on the trap .
Serbian officials put Serbian in the wrong path , every country went forward , Serbia went backwards , if they had recognize Kosovo on time , they would have been part of EU long time ago.

Well said, the foreign secretary of Serbia, Vuk Jeremic, - although your President (and I would say another Serb precident), Mr Tadic, will undobtedly try to take credit for himself, and probably already monoevers to dismiss your efforts. Fortunatelly for you and the Serbs, Mr Tadic has been pulling wool over the Serb voters for more than a decade, so his time should be up very soon!

Considering recent German engagements in Serbia and Merkels (I would dare to say very German) deeply unjust demands from Serbia about its province of Kosovo and Metohija, I expect that Vuk will become the most common name for newborn boys in Serbia for next 50 years or until Germany is made to retreat from her aggressive mode as far as Serbia is concerned, yet again for the third time in the last century.

It seems that in Serbia, unless you are a Vuk, you are dummed to life under German domination, which no free-thinking Serb will accept without resistance - as the Serbs in Kosovo have learned on their own skin!

Then, going through the history, we come to another Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic (who was born in a village near Savnik) who standardised Serbian language (which of lately (ill)legally is referred to as Serb-Croat- Bosnian - Crnogorski and so on... Must say that I have not seen any attempts by Alabanians (in Kosovo or Albania or Germany) to kidnap Serbian language and rename it to Albanian - so well done Albanians).

Apart from the above mentioned Vuks, we also have Vuk Draskovic, who relly is an old guy but he likes to be known as a wolf.

If you ask me, bet on Vuk Jeremic to have the last word on issue of Kosovo and Metohija! Tadic and Draskovic are really not Vuks!

Prior to Milosevic Serbs were leaving Kosovo, so decision was made that apeacement Unity and Brotherhood politics=1974 Constitution didn't work.
