There are alot of recent Hollywood (USA) movies that speak ill of Serbia. Example Mission impossible 4, the angelina jolie movie and at least half a dozen others. If you go back a few years, that number inflates. Some in Serbia react to this by throwing scorn upon the actors who are in those movies. But in reality, those actors are nice geniune people. They are also script readers. The problem is not them, its the nerds who write the scripts in thier horned rimmed glasses and skinny jeans.

In the case of mission impossible 4, one of the writers was a man named Andre Nemec. The sad fact of the matter is that many people from the Bosnian Muslim side, from Croatia and Albania go to the united states and use thier god given talents at writing and thier genetic disposition for anti serbianism to good ends in Hollywood. Personally, within the borders of the United States, I have never spoken badly of any other ethnic group from the Balkans. And I never will-it makes us both look bad.

As far as what people in Serbia should do about this---- its simple-get over it and forget about it.

America is full of good, decent people. If you want to find them look past Washington DC or Manhattan-take one of the less traveled roads and head for the hills.

Nenad, I see from your closing comment that you are in fact mocking Serbs. As someone with a Serbian name yourself, you ought to be ashamed. Where is your sense of nationhood? You often appear to stand in direct opposition to the Serbian cause and I simply can't understand why. Your Serbian ancestors must be spinning like cyclones in their graves. You, Brother, have gone native in your beloved America. Keep up the sarcasm -- see who laughs last!

Serbia's enemies in the US can only be frustrated by the good behavior and optimistic outlook of Serbs throughout the region. And the world is changing rapidly. Once the very icon of European obscurity, Serbia and its affairs are increasingly hard to confuse. Its friends everywhere are growing in number and its future could only be brighter by friends in both the US and the RF.

Petrovic needn't concern himself too much here; at this point, his assignment to DC is strictly a formality. We all know that Moscow is where all the action is really happening. Right now, Russia is hard at work, formulating a careful strategy to help Serbia to regain control of her lost province. The US, Germany and all the rest will soon be swept aside as the Mighty Bear reawakens to lead the rise of the East. Next year, Putin and Medvedev will swap chairs and all the waiting for Serbs will be over. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that Russian voters don't scupper the whole thing and vote in that basketball owner instead. I trust that Putin will take the measures necessary to ensure that doesn't happen.

To trust the Americans is like saying trust the devil.

The Americans are only interested in themselves no one else. Everywhere chaos reigns the Americans are behind it, Serbia should not trust them not in the least degree, the Americans are liars.

The stumbling block does indeed include Kosovo very importantly, but how about the fact that they bombed the Serbian people and from the beginning set out to destroy the Serbian cause for their own benefits. Dont think the Serbian people havnt forgotten.

I'm not sure what a country with an uncontrolled 15 trillion dollar and growing debt has to offer any older society as a lesson in anything. McDonald's ? Lady GaGa? MTV? Having completely botched up the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. isn't it just time for the bankrupt US to leave Kosovo? Yes, it is. Voluntarily or not.

I cannot understand Mr. Tadic on why Serbia had to have a good relation with the US. The US recognized the Kosovo UDI and protector of the "snake" in pristina.

Serbia had to be cautious in dealing with them.
