Zoran, Roger, Analyst, while you are dancing in the street and trying to rub the Albanians noses in the fact that Kosovo is presented in CEFTA as UNMIK-Kosovo, do you not realize that you are also celebrating the fact that Kosovo is represented as an equal and SEPERATE partner from Serbia. That is listed as a single customs region that is SEPERATE from Serbia. That according to CEFTA the lines between Serbia and Kosovo are distinct.
While you revel in the fact that (to you) Kosovo is not independent you also highlight that Kosovo is not Serbian, and to the rest of the world that is half the battle.
Just like when you drape yourself in the 1244 banner, you are parading around with pride a document that strips Serbia of any political, economical, social, physical control or ties to Kosovo.

What do you think those five EU members who haven't recognised Kosovo will say about that?
(Peggy, 19 December 2011 12:05)

The same thing, they don't recognize Kosovo... That has nothing to do though with EU membership. They've never said they'll veto Kosovo's membership in the EU. There are already entities which are not countries which are or were part of the EU.

Just because Serbia sees everywhere and in everything the nightmare of Kosovo's recognition, that does not mean that other countries have the same paranoia.

Kosova will shortly join NATO and in a few years will be a member of the EU.

Please don't compare apples with oranges. Has Croatia been asked to give up part of it's territory to join EU? Of course not. Has Croatia been forced to allow the Serbian refugees back in peace and their property returned? Again no.
So what was so hard for Croatia to join EU?

Central European Free Trade Agreement - CEFTA 2006
"On December 19, 2006, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) on behalf of Kosovo in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 signed an Agreement to amend and enlarge the Central European Free Trade – CEFTA 2006."

That is a correct statement, like saying that the sun raises in the East. But not sure what your point is... That, in accordance with Resolution 1244, UNMIK signed in 2006, on behalf of Kosovo, the CEFTA agreement - we all know that.

No. In fact, the current CEFTA chair is UNMIK/Kosovo. If you don't believe me, check the CEFTA website. It means: Kosovo is represented according to UN1244, like it should be. Serbia never opposed Kosovo participating in any international forum as UNMIK/Kosovo or with any similar name that honors UN1244. Serbia only insists that Kosovo is not represented with state signs or as the (self proclaimed) 'Rebublic of Kosovo'.

Of course Kosovo should be represented in accordance with 1244. That means that the options available are "UNMIK/Kosovo" or "Republic of Kosovo" - all are in accordance with 1244. So, as long as Serbia insits on solutions in accordance with 1244, everybody should be good and use "Republic of Kosovo" or "UNMIK/Kosovo".

The huge majority of the Serbs are not intersted in joining the sinking ship of the EU. It is only the rulling regime that is interested to joining the EU, against wishes of the overwhelming majority of Serbia. In the last decade, the current tretcherous Serbian government has continuously degraded Serbian citizens living standards, has destroyed Serbian economy, has been involved in cover up of murder of more than a thousad Serbs in hands of Albanian bandits in Kosovo... President Tadic's government of Serby is the only government in the entire world that has been responsible for the 5% decrease in its own population in less than a decade. How did they manage to achive such an astonishing rate of depopulating Serbia? Clearly, that is something for scientists to investigate, but there is no doubt that the rulling Serbian regime has unconditionally advocated the membership of EU as something which has no alternative, although the only tangable help has been supplied by resurgent Russia.

The time has come to re-evaluate what has not been achieved in Serbia in the last 10 years and why. All the leads point to imense failures of the rulling "elites".

Greece will be expelled from or leave the now so-called "EU". It's just simple math. Croatia will reap all the economic disaster of the sinking "EU" and still find its culture under siege from the bankrupt degenerates in Brussels and Washington.. The one good news for Serbia is the Third World invaders/rapists ("immigrants") pouring through Greece into Serbia can be dumped into Croatia. Congratulations, Zagreb. You're committing suicide. But maybe like Bosnia's Croats, you'll wake up someday to recognize who your real enemies are today.

The EP rapporteur said that blaming Germany for the failure to get the EU candidate status was wrong, "pointing out that vast majority of the EU member states honestly and actively supported Serbia."

Hmm... So what should we conclude from this? That blame should be on the vast majority of the EU members? Or that Serbia itself should be blamed, even if vast majority of the EU members honestly and actively supported Serbia (and thus didn't see that Serbia has done something to not to earn candidacy)?

Has it ever been clearly said what all normalization of Serbia-Kosovo relation includes? Are we to understand the relation should be as normalized as USA-Cuba relation? If Serbian politicians don't ask and explain this I wonder why Serbian journalist aren't doing the job. Is this some guessing game scenario?

The EU is going thru hard times. If it comes out of it alive it's got stronger, but necessarily not immediately healthy. Serbia may be lucky not to be in the EU yet. Let's see what financial demands will be put on Croatia after its membership starts.

I knew Kosovo is the main European drug hub in Europe, but I didn't know so far that the use of hallucinogenic drugs must have a high rate there, making people live in an illusionary dream world :)

Please don't compare apples with oranges. Has Croatia been asked to give up part of it's territory to join EU? Of course not. Has Croatia been forced to allow the Serbian refugees back in peace and their property returned? Again no.
So what was so hard for Croatia to join EU?

What do you think those five EU members who haven't recognised Kosovo will say about that?
(Peggy, 19 December 2011 12:05)

The same thing, they don't recognize Kosovo... That has nothing to do though with EU membership. They've never said they'll veto Kosovo's membership in the EU. There are already entities which are not countries which are or were part of the EU.

Just because Serbia sees everywhere and in everything the nightmare of Kosovo's recognition, that does not mean that other countries have the same paranoia.

Question: Jelko Kacin, how do you tell if a politician is lying?
Answer: Check to see if his lips are moving.

"Absolutely... Hopefully the majority of Serbs share that same opinion as you and the Albanians.
(icj1, 18 December 2011 18:56)"

Its my opinion alright. How do you know it is the Albanians' opinion too? Was a poll conducted or something?
