The Serbian people like many other ethnic groups around the world care about standards of living and economic prosperity. However, the Serbian people do not hold those aspirations at the expense of their cultural identity. They do not hold those aspirations at the expense of their soveriegnty and certainly the issue of Serbia being taken apart, making it smaller is more important than anything else. People are accustomed to being poor but they are not accustomed to living in a country that is getting smaller and smaller and taking orders from Brussels.
