Under Serbia's proposals for the final status of Kosovo, K. Serbs as all inhabitans of Kosovo. were to be governed by Kosovo's provincial capital Pristina which in its turn is to be governed by Serbia's capital Beograde.
(aaayyy, 18 December 2011 00:34)

You are wrong, because Serbia promissed that Kosovo would have the autonomy to govern it's local affairs. So Pristina would have been independent in governing Kosovo's local affairs. The only thing that Serbia would have been involved in was foreign affairs and borders with Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro. Or Serbia didn't really mean to give Kosovo more than autonomy but less then independence ?
----------

Which is quite different from the situation when Prishtina isn't governed by Serbia's capital Beograde.
(aaayyy, 18 December 2011 00:34)

But Kosovo is Serbia, isn't it ?!

aaayyy

The key of the problem is that KSerbs don't want to be under Prishtina control and compromise solution is needed.
(aaayyy, 16 December 2011 11:30)

You are wrong my friend; K. Serbs or Serbia have never said that. Even under Serbia's proposals for the final status of Kosovo, K. Serbs as all inhabitans of Kosovo. were to be governed by Kosovo's provincial capital Pristina. K. Serbs have never said they want to be independent from Kosovo.

Leo,

The Russians are on record saying that Serbs cannot be Russian citizens, since it is NOT allowed by the Russian constitution. However, since the Serbs are being removed from the schengen list, it is a moot point.

Russia has just offered a 20 billion dollar loan to the dead "EU" to help temporarily shore up its unpayable debts and strings are attached. I correctly predicted the "EU", which means Germany, is in no position and has no real desire to oppose Russia on this issue of solidarity with the real and patriotic Serbs of Kosovo. In effect, the Serbs of Kosovo now have Russian "citizenship".
(Leo, 16 December 2011 13:40)
First, 20 billion dollar loan is laughable as it will not solve any issues so any strings would be threads. Second, the "humanitarian aid" is in lieu of citizenship.

And why do you believe Serbian government is against Russian humaniration aid and other kind of aid? After all there is Russian base in Serbia, do you believe it was established without Serbian governmetn permission?
(aaayyy, 15 December 2011 23:30)
Of course all Serbian politicians are going to agree with sending the shipments now. However, I don't think they would have been keen on the idea of rewarding them for keeping the barricades up, a position Russia seems to support while the current govt does not. But either way they were not given a choice, or the appearance of a choice. So what it appears is that not only does Serbia not have control over Kosovo due to 1244, but it has also lost its political control, as Russia is allowed to do what it wishes. That is not an alliance of the 2 countries. Do you think the American people would have stood by and seen aid brought into the Occupy Wall Street Protestors from even our strongest Allies, eventhough many agree with their cause?
Whether you like Tadic and agree with his course is not the point, you may feel he is a puppet to the west, but the point is he was elected by the Serbian people, it should be Serbian people who decide if he should stay or go. You have NO sovereignty if you are letting other countries make the decisions for you. In other words you have become another Kosovo (Kosovo had agreed to a supervised independence in exchange for western support). If you cannot see that, then being ruled by Russia may be your best option.
(a New Day, 16 December 2011 07:15)

I am Russian.

So your main point is that the West could make the decisions for Serbia, arm and train their separatists (KAlbs), deliver ultimatum (give your land or you will be bombed), attack Serbia by air force, take their land (Kosovo) and declare it independent country against the will of Serbian people and the most world countries, now Western diplomats could have meeting with Serbian students, public, agitate them, sponcer their main mass media and define their politics and Russia couldn't even send blankets to people in need?

The key of the problem is that KSerbs don't want to be under Prishtina control and compromise solution is needed. You worry so much that though Tadic's government agree to Russian humanitarian aid, you don't think they would have been keen on the idea of rewarding KSerbs for keeping the barricades up. I believe that Tadic supports KSerbs democratic will to demonstrate their intentions, but Tadic is under EU blackmail unfortunately, so Russian aid could help him to negotiate and speak for KSerbs.

This is an embarrassment for EULEX to block humanitarian aid. Seeing that they had to go through central Serbia, no so-called "Kosovars" were part of that group. This has caused good publicity for the Serbian cause in KiM and further strained EU/Russian relations while the Albanians were laughing at them.

Now it is time to deliver the much needed goods and those electricity generators will come in very good use.

Agim, it is not important at the moment. We are protecting the important ones and creating alternative routes when needed. We are ensuring free passage between Serbians and Serbians.

However, I do understand some kind of borders exist between Albanians and other Albanians. Also, some so-called "internationals" that use Merdare. Those are there to make your lives inconvenient because you want to believe some temporary illusion.

So well done because all of the functioning crossings around the region essentially separate Albanians from Albanians. So much for your "United States of Albania". ;)

I bet they do. They love more Russia than Serbia. At the end of the day Big brother.

"Konuzin also stated that the shipment would help Serbs protect their legitimate rights and stand up to illegal activities of the force that is used against them" What exactely the ambassador meant? Just a bit of PROVOCATION?

"Rest assured that events in Kosovo are being carefully monitored in Russia. Russia will always stand with Serbs." He is touching people's nerves sorry hearts...

Why would an ambassador of a "mighty" country be forced to wait at an "administrative" line? Can some Serbian poster spinn this off please.

It rings more like embarrassment to the ambassador and Russia that a country that is fictitious and they don't recognize makes them wait at their border. LOL

Zoran

pre 12 godina

This is an embarrassment for EULEX to block humanitarian aid. Seeing that they had to go through central Serbia, no so-called "Kosovars" were part of that group. This has caused good publicity for the Serbian cause in KiM and further strained EU/Russian relations while the Albanians were laughing at them.

Now it is time to deliver the much needed goods and those electricity generators will come in very good use.
