Shooting/ killing is not the answer to any problem!

Geez, where were you when Albanians were shooting Serbian policemen?
Would you have cared enough to make a comment like this?

BTW I hear that the most requests for Russian citizenship were from Southern Serbian enclaves, since Serbs from Northern Kosovo still hope for unification with Serbia.
(aaayyy, 16 December 2011 03:12)
--
When exactly did Northern KiM separate from the rest of Serbia? I don't understand how it will reunify with Serbia if it never broke away? I wouldn't be going around believing some Albanians or the occupiers. Serbian institutions are fully functioning in Northern KiM and any attempts to make the administrative lines border crossings have been fiercely resisted.
(Zoran, 16 December 2011 10:38)

I mean when, for example, full-functional Serbian police will be able to stay in Northern Kosovo and protect its people

And why do you believe Serbian government is against Russian humaniration aid and other kind of aid? After all there is Russian base in Serbia, do you believe it was established without Serbian governmetn permission?
(aaayyy, 15 December 2011 23:30)
Of course all Serbian politicians are going to agree with sending the shipments now. However, I don't think they would have been keen on the idea of rewarding them for keeping the barricades up, a position Russia seems to support while the current govt does not. But either way they were not given a choice, or the appearance of a choice. So what it appears is that not only does Serbia not have control over Kosovo due to 1244, but it has also lost its political control, as Russia is allowed to do what it wishes. That is not an alliance of the 2 countries. Do you think the American people would have stood by and seen aid brought into the Occupy Wall Street Protestors from even our strongest Allies, eventhough many agree with their cause?
Whether you like Tadic and agree with his course is not the point, you may feel he is a puppet to the west, but the point is he was elected by the Serbian people, it should be Serbian people who decide if he should stay or go. You have NO sovereignty if you are letting other countries make the decisions for you. In other words you have become another Kosovo (Kosovo had agreed to a supervised independence in exchange for western support). If you cannot see that, then being ruled by Russia may be your best option.

Did Prishtina have right to declare embargo on Serbia's goods? I guess it depends on Kosovo status - if Kosovo isn't independent, then Prishtina didn't have such right.

aaayyy

pre 12 godina

Currently you have a huge number of protestors to the recent elections, and the govt is cracking down on them. Should they request help from the US and the US is unable to do anything but instead sends in huge amounts of "humanitarian aid" to the protestors just to show support. would you not see this as a way to undermine the current govt structure.
The Serbs in Kosovo did not turn to Russia because of the Pristina govt, but they turned to Russia because they were unhappy with the support they were getting from Serbia.
The Russian efforts are rewarding the people for looking to Moscow and not Belgrade. This along with the participation of the ambassador in certain political party gatherings should be of major concern to Belgrade. While many here may want a new govt with closer ties to Moscow, I doubt any of you want a new govt dictated by Moscow. Ponder it for a while.
Any aid sent by Russia should have been in joint efforts with the Belgrade authorities. Otherwise you have begun the divide and conquer program.
(a New Day, 15 December 2011 07:08)

As I understand your main point is Tadic's authority, but nothing could undemine his authority worse than the West. See, Tadic tried very hard to enter EU and gain compromise solution on Kosovo and what did he get in return? The West and Thaci decided to send Albanian custom officer to Serbian-Serbian border as a part of the plan of controlling the north just to demonstrate to Serbs that their president cannot protect KSerbs. The West refused to grant Serbia candidate status just to demonstrate to Serbs the weakness of their president. If the West want to help Tadic it should negotiate returning of Serbian police to northern Kosovo - it would be also good for the solution of the problem with criminality there. I am sure Tadic feels unhappy he cannot support KSerbs.

As for our protestors - I think they have US backing in some form as all those protestors taking part in variouse "colored revolutions", "Arab spring", etc. The West is never shy to interfere in the internal affears of other countries claiming it has moral ground of doing it, since it supports people against dictators/tirans/beurocrates, etc., which is partly right. Thus we also can support people in Kosovo North, who clearly demonstrate their intention to refuse Prishtina control imposed on them.

"The Serbs in Kosovo did not turn to Russia because of the Pristina govt" - very strange sentence indeed. Do you mean the Serbs in Kosovo are satisfied with Prishtina government?

And why do you believe Serbian government is against Russian humaniration aid and other kind of aid? After all there is Russian base in Serbia, do you believe it was established without Serbian governmetn permission?

So what shall we do? All the solutions possible are after this red line. I don’t think that you are against a solution, but it cannot arrive by itself. To solve a problem is a better approach if you face with it, instead of postponing it. We Albanians says “better a fast end with big pain, than an endless small pain”.

Did Prishtina have right to declare embargo on Serbia's goods? I guess it depends on Kosovo status - if Kosovo isn't independent, then Prishtina didn't have such right.

BTW I hear that the most requests for Russian citizenship were from Southern Serbian enclaves, since Serbs from Northern Kosovo still hope for unification with Serbia.

Talking about Prishtina democratic paradise... and ethnic cleansing...

I mean when, for example, full-functional Serbian police will be able to stay in Northern Kosovo and protect its people

It is a shame that Tadic has had to make this statement in the first place.

Shooting/ killing is not the answer to any problem!

Geez, where were you when Albanians were shooting Serbian policemen?
Would you have cared enough to make a comment like this?

Serbs want Tadic out for various reasons.
Albanians want Tadic out for various reasons.

How can any problems between K.Albanians & K.Serbs be solved with the Serbian president disliked by all???

What kind of persuasion can he have to any interested parties????
