BTW what is your opinion of the West which only opposes ethnic cleansing when it goes in wrong (according to the West) direction?
(aaayyy, 16 December 2011 02:10)

Well, you are asking an opinion about your opinion that West only opposes ethnic cleansing when it goes in wrong (according to the West) direction. So, what are you asking exactly, whether your opinion is right or wrong ?

Ben, Serbia (together with Croatia) in 1995 (after signing Dayton agreement) was allowed by the West to ethnically cleanse their respective minorities. While Tudgman wasn't shy to do it, naive Milosevic didn't because of Rugova's peaceful resistance.
(aaayyy, 15 December 2011 19:41)
So you blame Milosevic not why he does ethnic cleansing in Kosova but why he does it at one time that was not allowed by the West. Are a lot that think like you in Serbia? You are a sick mind and I don’t want to react. I was waiting for another Serb to do it. If I wish the disaster for Serbia, I’ll wish that too many Serbs think like you and another Milosevic comes in power. AAAYYY elections are coming you just vote for Radicals and wait that your wishes comes true.
P.S. Do you know where is Mr. Rogozin now?

Actually the main point of my post was to protect Rugova from too much of critics - he really saved your people. BTW what is your opinion of the West which only opposes ethnic cleansing when it goes in wrong (according to the West) direction?

When is Russia going to give "humanitarian aid" to the 240,000 Georgians ethnically cleansed from Abkhazia?

Or is this a case of double standards?

Did the Russian Passports (aka humanitarian aid) get to the K-Serbs in the end?

Administrative line? I wonder what needs permission. To cross a administrative line? When you go to Vojvodina do you cross an administrative line where you undergo customs inspection?

He added that new conditions had been presented and that the Russian side could not accept them. Russian Konuzin the master of Serbia well of coarse he even said he is the ultimate Serb better Serb then the Serbs. I think the agreement reached with the EU is Serbia is 100% under Russian sphere of control influence just a small detail no use informing sudo Serbs. The name of the country and people will be changed to Russorb their will be a lot cheering parades in Belgrade. Those not cheering in Russorb well off to Siberia brrr .Will see you Russorbs in 50 years when you get very disillusioned in the Russorb world.

There are agreement being reached through hard negotiations.

These agreements are with a lot of fatic being implemented.

And what we have now: Russia enetering the scene and wanitng to radically re-write the agreements as she think are right to be, accoridng to her interests.

The destructive role of Russia in Balkans is known fact. Who invites them and who always has asked their help is another historical fact: Serbia.

The only language that bulls understand is when you stand on them. Kosova should re-negotiate the ridiculous and racist limits on her defence capaciies. It needs to master fully her sovreignity on her entire territory and then negotiate. For bulls compromise=weakness. No dear you are wrong. Albanians are always concerned about theirs minority. In this case the minority are Kserbs. We hope that this aid arrive to them, also we hope that, in this case Mr. Konuzin is informed that there is a border. Is the duty of a diplomat to know very well the country when he works. I hope that after this Mr. Konuzin will more be able to do his duty. And this is also good for Serbia.

Good for the K-Serbs and Russians that they finally accepted EULEX conditions. The whole convoy could have been there since Tuesday but of course they had to make a scene. And what happened? They still had to bow to the conditions and accept that the EULEX will escort them. I hope they learned a lesson for the next time when they wanna deliver humanitarian aid, or else they can once again spend days at the border til they grow roots.

(Berk., 15 December 2011 14:26)

Oh, but the convoy is scheduled to move by tomorrow at the latest. An agreement was reached whereby the Russian convoy will be escorted by EULEX and local Serb representatives. So like I said yesterday, if an agreement is reached, it will be between the interested parties. I suppose there'll be one token Albanian there for display, but like I thought, Pristina wasn't consulted on this. Maybe this was all for show, but the show kind of paid off. Serbs get their goods and they continue to have a say in the matter alongside international representatives.

The halting is from Russia on the basis that they do not want to see K-Albanian customs... Little racism mixed with delusion in this region that 75% Of Kosovo and 85% of Serbias regional neighbors are laughing at the border jumping Russian ambassador, let alone agreeing with him.

IF they want to really help, it would be done by now.

Did you expect something more sophisticated from the Ruso-Serb brotherhood?

And so what! Dear Kosova and not only Kosova but all the Albanian in the region are free by laws. The only fear that I have for Albanians is if they will be able to be free from the past. Also all Serbs are free by laws, even the Kserbs. But at the point we are I see that biggest problem for Serbs is to free the mind and heart from the past. I really don’t wish what I’m saying but I’m hopples for that when I hear what Serbs politicians says, what Serbs Church says, what Serbs intellectual says and I’m really surprised what Serbs forumers (people) says here. Free your mind and heart from the past or you will become a nation of past.

@Ari Gold the number of Albanian in region and the world is at least equal with Serbs but is not this point, but as I said above. Albanian has the lowest average age in Europe and the young Albanian is looking for the future. What I’m surprised here is that even the young Serbs live in the past and live in legends.

USA United States of Albania

At the end of the day its the Serbs and Russian's crying about the border. Its the Russians that are stuck at the border for days now TRYING to get into Kosova. Its Albanians that have a capital called Pristina with a Government there. I'm sorry children, but Its Serbs TRYING to take Kosova away and not the other way around. Russia and China are not willing to go to war on Serbia's behalf, but its been proven that NATO, Europe and the great United States of America have! The powers that matter in Kosova today(EULEX, NATO, USA) transport ROSU and customs border agents to customs borders posts in their helicopters and vehicles. I dont see such such move's being made for the Serbs.

Unfortunately for Serbia this all spells doom and failure. Serbia cannot sustain this level of trouble making in the region forever. Serbia is not strong enough and they do not have the will power to continue. Why? the answer is simple...Serbia has a constitution. Within that constitution it reads that Serbia has the right to "defend" their territory with the military. Serbia doesnt do that because they will get squashed . With that said....the other alternative is to win with politics since the military/force option is non existent. We've seen what this loser freshman class of politicians in Serbia has acheieved in regaining Kosova back.....NOTHING.

You wanted to hear at least one good reason why those trucks must be stopped at the border and here is it. This is only a Russian propaganda show, covering the fact that they refused Russian citizenship so that they won't get involved in the mess Serbs have created. There is also no humanitarian crisis in the North. Those people there have blockade THEMSELVES while still getting supplied thru "alternate roads".

Moreover, those goods can pass the very second when standard procedures are taken. Russians refuse to do so, but still claim that there is utter need for that. They can simply follow those procedures and 100% of their goods can be delivered to those mentioned. They don't want this, because it would destroy their intent --> propaganda. Nobody in the world will shed a single tear for that. This is a simple sharade and it will be dealt with accordingly. Russians already proved that they cannot bring even a truck load into Kosovo. So much for this wanne-be superpower.

SCP UK

pre 12 godina

This discussion has been greatly twisted by the anti-Serbs commenting here. The fact is that the Russians have sent humanitarian aid to the Kosovo Serbs, not weapons, they are free to search the convoy and they will see this is the case, but the thing is they know it.

What possible excuse on earth is there to stop humanitarian aid going through? The only reason is that EULEX, KFOR and even the albanians wish to see the Serbs starved of resources, such people couldn't give a damn if Kosovo Serbs started to starve in their thousands, although this wont happen it would be a great favour to them, but still I challenge anyone here to give us all a legitimate reason why this aid should be halted. I now await those albanian contributors list a series of reasons, all of which are no doubt in the name of further pain and suffering towards the Serbs.

Also so much for the peace and humanitarian loving west, who are intent on sending this aid back. These hypocritical powers non-stop condemn other nations in the world for their human rights abuses, yet they are abusing basic human rights of the Kosovo Serbs here. All this shows how many double standards the west have, and how they dont give a damn about the wellbeing of humans, I challenge anyone once again to provide a decent argument against this, which is not of a bitter nature, but the fact is there is none, the answer is clear, hypocracy and double standards, but this fails to surprise me these days.

Although I fear for the near future of Kosovo and its indigenous Serbian population, the fact is that the finances of the EU and NATO and beginning to turn sour. Kosovo will not for long be a place which both imperialistic institutions can occupy and sustain, because we all know that without these finances Kosovo would fall apart, as albanians there are incapable of running their own state fully independently. They would rot from the inside, unemployment would grow even further, and it wouldn't be long before even they begin to murder, rape and steal from eacht other. And this will happen, so with the small chance of the Kosovo albanians staying strong after the withdrawal of western powers, then there could potentially be a war which the albanians would lose without their KFOR nannies, but even so I reckon that the Serbs would be able to in time march right to Pristina and Prizren without much of a fight, especially after the albanians turn on each other in the face of mass poverty and social disaster.

So no, if you are supporting ethnic cleansing or neo-nazism in any form then I most certainly disagree with you.

Koko, this is an opinion forum, not a sarcasm forum. Get off your Serb-hating horse, and behave in a friendly fashion with your neighbors, as you request of them. The problem with these administrative lines, borders, whatever, is that there is no agreement among all the countries involved. Some recognize an independent Albanian Kosovo as a country, and a lot do not. Until the Kosovo status issue is resolved, and it has not been regardless of how high Albanians jump when they claim it is, there will be problems, conflicts, and confusion in the Balkans. The West militarily tore Kosovo away from Serbia, but they have not been able to follow through on making it a legitimate country. When is (independent Kosovo) becomes a UN member state, accepted as such by a majority of other UN member nations, then I believe Kosovo can call itself a nation. Until then, all I see in the future is more, "we are a country", "no you're not".

My question to all of you who say not so nice things about me is, how is what I am proposing ANY different than what neo-Nazi Croatians did in Krajina? This was a land that was called Croatia because a Croatian communist dictator decided it was.

And further more, Serbs in Krajina did not bring heroin and child prostitutes to Croatia. In my opinion, Albanians in Kosovo are much better candidates for a 'oluja' than Serbs in Krajina.

??? That is an argument against what you are supporting. If we all disagree with neo-nazi ideology or disagree with Croatian ethnic cleansing - and yet you are comparing your views with theirs, what does that say about your views?

So no, if you are supporting ethnic cleansing or neo-nazism in any form then I most certainly disagree with you.

On the topic it kind of reminds us how little influence Russia has in Kosovo at the moment, its either that or that we are a very low policy priority for them.

The words of a coward who cannot fight for himself, I've got news for you, Agim, Uncle Sam is on his death bed, and it won't be long before he and his empire dies and rots in the ground.

Ari Gold 'how is what I am proposing ANY different than what neo-Nazi Croatians did in Krajina?'

"What possible excuse on earth is there to stop humanitarian aid going through?"

You are just reciting false premises,

From the same article: EULEX offered Russia two options to reach Kosovska Mitrovica, either to be accompanied by EULEX, or to go to the Merdare crossing, which they refused since Merdare is controlled by the Kosovo customs.

"I challenge anyone here to give us all a legitimate reason why this aid should be halted"
Spc Uk

The halting is from Russia on the basis that they do not want to see K-Albanian customs... Little racism mixed with delusion in this region that 75% Of Kosovo and 85% of Serbias regional neighbors are laughing at the border jumping Russian ambassador, let alone agreeing with him.

IF they want to really help, it would be done by now.

Did you expect something more sophisticated from the Ruso-Serb brotherhood?

My feeling is that even Russia is on Kosovos good side, hence why they have to make the border appear even stronger than it actually is in the face of the biggest country on this planet.

So thank you Russia. :)

Administrative line? I wonder what needs permission. To cross a administrative line? When you go to Vojvodina do you cross an administrative line where you undergo customs inspection?

Slap in the face for Russian ambassador

Rugova was fulling himself for 10 yrs bealiving the contrary but now even Thaci who was not sharing that opionon seems to converge to the losers mentality of Rugova. Time for responsability and reality check in Prishtina.

"Keep it coming Serb posters. Im thoroughly enjoying the show.
(USA United States of Albania, 15 December 2011 15:50)"

Oh, I wouldn't be so sure of that. The show ain't over yet. If you want to get a sneak peak of how the ending goes, just ask your Grand Daddy :) He's lived it once already with his then "unbeatable" ally Adolf.

I don't think the Axis powers started their New World Order of "peace" (they too called themselves PEACEKEEPERS) believing they would lose. But things don't always go "according to plan" do they?

wow, I would really be embarrassed if I were to be a Serb. One day, "no way would we let eulex" next day, "sure, three cars would be ok".
And everybody knows why. LOL. Because you have no other options :)
What a joke. Who do they think they're fooling? Just themselves.

Rugova was fulling himself for 10 yrs bealiving the contrary but now even Thaci who was not sharing that opionon seems to converge to the losers mentality of Rugova. Time for responsability and reality check in Prishtina.

Seriously, have they thoroughly checked these convoys for weapons? This is very fishy. Why did they refuse EULEX escorts? Are they hiding something?

If not, why turn this into a pissing contest?

When is Russia going to give "humanitarian aid" to the 240,000 Georgians ethnically cleansed from Abkhazia?

Or is this a case of double standards?

Did the Russian Passports (aka humanitarian aid) get to the K-Serbs in the end?

BTW what is your opinion of the West which only opposes ethnic cleansing when it goes in wrong (according to the West) direction?
(aaayyy, 16 December 2011 02:10)

Well, you are asking an opinion about your opinion that West only opposes ethnic cleansing when it goes in wrong (according to the West) direction. So, what are you asking exactly, whether your opinion is right or wrong ?
