"Serbian dinar region's most stable currency"

Over the past six months, the Serbian dinar was the most stable of currencies of countries with similar exchange rate regimes to that of Serbia.

Soskic is considered quite a tough governor who doesn't listen to the politicians as they would wish.

However, this doesn't change the fact that we have been here before. For a number of reasons the dinar strengthens / maintains strength in the run up to the election then has something of a collapse following the election.

Thats why the smart ones with savings are doing so in dinars with an expiry date a week or so before the april. At that stage its time to weigh up which currency to change into. At the moment the pound or even the dollar might be the safest bet. It seems unlikely that the Euro will be 'saved' in time for April, if at all.

By doing things like this the average joe isn't going to make himself rich, but he will do a lot better than those too afraid to save in dinars today, or those to afraid to change from dinars tomorrow.
