N. Kosovo Serbs block administrative crossings

The Serbs present at the Kosovo side of the crossing are redirecting the vehicles to an alternative road which bypasses the Jarinje crossing.

It is a good thing that the so-called negotiations do not cover the alternative routes into KiM. They offer free passage and new roads are being built all of the time. The "offical" crossings will be disused with EULEX and some Albanian observers watching grass grow.

The agreement on the integrated management of borders between Kosovo and Serbia is a “de jure” recognition of Kosovo, Kosovo Albanian PM Hashim Thaci has said. Guess the Serbs in N. KiM didn't get this memo from the Snake. What a buffoon - KiM Albanians should be embarrassed to have someone like cocaine Thaci representing them.

Surprise surprise, KFOR broke the deal. Its as if they thought the Serbs wern't going to watching the crossings, but now lets once again see the barricades commence.

Recall that Serbs were supposed to see the substance of the agreement that allowed Albanians to be present at these crossings. Nothing here at B92 relating these incidents says anything about this agreement and neither does anyone in Central Serbian leadership. It's easy to understand why the Serbs local to these crossings refuse to be pacified. The Serbian government is not doing enough to reassure these Serbs. These Serbs are entirely justified in mobilizing in reaction to the Albanians at these checkpoints without the concrete reassurance that they will be doing nothing but taking up space to placate the gangsters in Pristina.

That what happens when you cuddle up these kind of poople. Who is "champion of finding a negotiated solution" according to Serbian constitution?...It is all a Serbian joke! Do your job KFOR, EULEX and Kosovo institution!

Now it's becoming ridiculous what the Serbs are doing, seriously! No one in Europe supports them and still keep doing same thing over and over again. Perhaps they (this small group) should get a life like majority of the Serbs in Kosovo and stop being brainwashed by criminals who like to have these roadblocks

Tthe west wants Kosovo resolved to send back all the Albanians. Ask any European person who they support, the Albanians or Serbs and see who gets the overwhelming approval

The scenes described in the article would make a great movie, a la Kusturica. Barricades going up and down, traffic directed by local people in one place, by soldiers in another place, EULEX and KPS moving in and out, ROSU cars and Hashim Thaci, Stefanovic and others, priests chanting and praying further away, and people agreeing to stuff in Brussels. Let's not forget the mayors too. Pure chaos. In the middle of all this, a driver going to his sister's wedding that gets lost, some people tell him the road is blocked, others tell him to go via the alternative roads, others send him back, and in the end he ends up nowhere...

God bless the Serbian citizens in Kosovo and God bless the Albanian citizens in Kosovo that are genuine and do not disparage the Serbs for their struggle to hold on to their rightful interests.

Just like Steve posted, Albanians are turning to Belgrade for medical treatment etc and it's obvious that Belgrade is the economic engine for this part of the balkans.

I pity the Albanians who simply hate all Serbians and are greedily seeking all governance of Kosovo. It is absolutely unfathomable that some cannot understand why the Serbs are blockading.

The best thing anyone can do is to put themselves in other people's shoes to understand the motivation behind these actions.

We have to take a step back and understand others' motivations.

From a Serb point of view we cannot and will never give up our identity, culture and sovereignty of the land we occupy.

The argument from the Albanians is relatively new because you've never had sovereignty. Thaci is striving for governance of the entirety of Kosovo.

This is a new theory and a new objective and he and his associates will never have the same passion and spirit as the Serbian people who are protecting what's always been theirs.

The average European does not care but they are well aware of the Albanians and their involvement in criminal activities in their respective countries and the fact that their prisons are full with them. That is the big difference and you ask people living in the EU who would they would allow to live in their countries and it certainly not Albanians.
