Yeah mate, next years will be difficult for you, once Serbian voters will eventually have kicked you out of office.

Sorry to burst your bubble but 'ex' politicians go through a revolving door of benefits. He will either become a non-executive director of one or a number of large foreign firms, an member of the board of one or a number of foreign funded NGO's, write a biography of how only he himself is able to save the serbs from themselves and how much he has personally sacrificed, or move to western europe and the usa and give lectures. Actually all of the above. He will also be substantially richer than he could possibly imagine and mostly without having to lift a finger. Very sad, but true.

The politicians always get fatter whilst everyone else suffers.

Whats he talking about. Serbia is insulated from the woes of the west, just ask any of the Serbian posters here. And you are down to your last nickel you will be able to count on Russia to be there to offer you 2 cents for it.

But he thought - a difficult years for us, citizens, and not for him and the elite. We think that these are the words which he explains his inability, not a real state of affairs. There are many economic tools that could help the citizens, but government is not interested in it - it looks just how it words deceive the citizens, and to retain their privileges. During that time, people are dying in poverty and misery, not their fault.
