It reminds me of what the Russians used to say “they pretend to pay us and we pretend to work”.

F off, thaci, you piece of human garbage. You are involved in crimes of the worst nature, why would the press even quote you? The Western powers do with Kosovo what thwy want, with no asking of you, Mr. Thaci, so please shut the f up. You would be in life sentence prison if not for the US/EU, or executed for your crimes, and that may happen yet. As for KiM, the North qwill be independent - the rest of KiM will be an everlasting hellhole. The EU has no funds to build up an Albanian KiM. The Germans will disappoint the Albanians again. History repeats itself.

Thaci has to tell his dumb goat herders something. Here we have 12 years of stagnation with no gains so he release some positive news. Thaci is pulling their chains.

The talks are irrelevant as the agreement has been scuttled by the local Serbs and all this play acting is to show the world that things are on the move. It reminds me of what the Russians used to say “ they pretend to pay us and we pretend to work”. Nothing has changed and the Albanians can look in all the coffee cups in the world – status quo and the pot continues to boil.

The 'observer' status will put Pristhina in control.
It won't be long before it becomes obvious to all.

Uh, how does an "observer" "control"? You people are really reaching here :)

Hmm! The West has been adamant on the border issue since the declaration of independence. The reps of the EU reiterated the same just a few days before the agreement between the two sides.

So, how do you figure that the West did an 180 turn in just a few days?
Did Borko present some earth shattering proof that made the West change course and give Serbia control over the borders?
Or, is it the same old politics coming from Belgrade where they agree to one thing and tell their people another?

Do you remember how Borko kept insisting that the situation would go back to the way it was before July 25?
Then slowly, he kept changing his tune. It was no longer about going back to the way things were before July 25 but to finding a workable agreement that would suit both sides.

I think this agreement just follows the natural progression of things. The 'observer' status will put Pristhina in control.
It won't be long before it becomes obvious to all.

Haha I called it! As a comment I made on a past article...

"After every agreement the Albanians come out and say 'YES WE HAVE WON THEY RECOGNIZED KOSOVAAAA' and then the rest of the world sets these clowns straight with a simple 'No, no they haven't buddy'."

It never gets old. Nice try snake. Now slither away until the next agreement. Hopefully it is to send you to jail.

My goodness, we've been hearing this about twice a week for the past 3 years from the Albanian side. It seems Serbia has recognised "Kosova" about 1000 times already, yet we still have Albanians visiting this site constantly.

What Thaci (touchy) actually pointed out is that these agreements are worthless unless implemented and getting to that stage is going to be very difficult, especially with elections around the corner. Even if they are implemented, they can easily be reversed as geopolitical influences change.

So basically, if these negotiations prove to be fake, as I suspect - then it just means future conflict is in the pipeline. There is no dialogue here as that implies a two way negotiation. This is a monologue, where the EU is dictating terms. "Kosova" is built on a shaky foundation and I can't see it lasting too long, especially with the problems facing the US and EU.

The world is waking up and starting to take matters into their own hands.

LOL it certainly didn't take long for this clown to start smearing on the propaganda. I wonder how he understands "observers" for the northern crossings and the return of Serbian police to his "independent" state :)

ZZ,

And now you too?! First BT suggests that Mr Cooper is deficient in the reproductive equipment department, and now you propose replacement of Mrs Ashton's grey matter. Might I suggest that this obsession with the bodies of English people, (whilst flattering and quite understandable), is ultimately distracting you from considering where responsibilities (and solutions) really sit.

How in the world can someone really believe that the Snake knows an expression like “de jure”? He still hasn't got the meaning of "sui generis" that the master of puppets placed in his mouth years ago.
(KiM, 7 December 2011 14:05)

He probably has an own interpretation of 'de jure' - just like the expression 'rule of law' in Kosovo has a very special meaning (i.e. mafia can operate freely, smuggling drugs trough Albanian borders is welcome, importing goods via the administrative crossings with Serbia has to be stopped). Don't mix up Kosovo and it's leaders with normal European states.
