Oh man Lenard, that was just hilarious. I agree with you the CEFTA is a great mechanism for Serbia. That being said, I have nothing against Croatians as people since they are pretty similar to Serbs. However, I would freeze all relations (outside of private businesses having relations between each other) between Serbia and Croatia.

Croatia is a genocidal entity that has attempted genocide on Serbs twice in the past 100 years and ethnically cleansed Serbs from an area that was called Croatia only because some Croatian communist dictator decided it was.

It's not like there are a bunch of Croatian billionaires just waiting to invest in Serbia. It does no good. Serbs as individuals should be allowed to have whatever ties with Croatia they want be it tourism or business, but I would do no kind of diplomatic relations with this state who's foundations are Nazism, genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Ari Gold you forgot Croatia ,Bosnia ,Kosovo ,Montenegro and Vojvodina all joking aside. The best place Serbia dose is in the CEFTA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_European_Free_Trade_Agreement with a good trade surplus. With Croatia doubling ,tripling quadrupling its tourism to Croatia every 5 to 7 years their will be more demand for Serbian products and a good market win win scenario for all already http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uig_y7Laows .

Serbia just needs free trade agreements with certain European countries instead of EU membership. Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Spain, Cyprus & Greece being those countries. I would also further look into Italy, Slovenia and Macedonia depending on how things go. The thing is all of these countries would instantly sign an FTA with Serbia.

Agreements with these countries as well as deepening ties with Russia, Belarus and Ukraine means a very European Serbia. This is Serbia NOT isolating itself from the continent without being subservient to the sinking and out of date EU.
