Surpisingly NOT the Arab spring blow all Serbian/Russian friends from power in spectacular and also dramatic way... Gadaffi comes to my mind as and I can't see any better future for Bashir.

You make me laugh because if you think for one moment that the changes in Libya are to advantage of the west then keep on dreaming.
Just because the free press is not talking about Libya does not mean that things are settled there.
Libya has no real government only a loosely cobbled group with different interests. The first step was to try and disarm the militias; that was a failure as not one would give up their weapons; not one group.
The Us has helped Islamists to power; something that would never have occurred if they did not give a helping hand. Now tell me who is the fool here Gaddafi or the US?
These people are not friendly to your western allies LOL. In fact each of these groups have their own personal strong holds and they are not moving from them as should occur in any normal society transitioning to civil government. There are regular classes between groups, but the free press does not report that either.
Where do you people live? Under a rock or in caves?

O no the Kremlin is losing another like minded bosom buddy Syria. Don't worry you still have Serbia just pull the strings they will dance and prance for Russia you can be happy again just like old times.

A Croat and an Albanian – put them together and Lenny and his mate would be at each other’s throats just like the Croats threw out all Albanians in the operation storm and the Albanians kicked out their Croat allies the first chance they got.
Two of a kind.

It's laughable for those clowns that make up the Arab League to take the roles of beacons of human rights and democracy. Its's all about humanitarian intervention sic aka Kosovo,Libya etc.

The Saudi plan with support from the West is the creation of Sunni-Islamist regimes which will socially-control the Arabs at home and sufficiently pliable to Saudi and Western interests.Arab nationalism of Nasser,Assad and Gaddafi which was antagonistic to western interests will become history.

This is the plan but I think the Russians won't be as obliging this time as they were on Libya. The have a huge naval base which is protected with modern air defence systems not to mention that Syria is one of their key allies in the Middle east.My view is that we're entering a turbulent period and time will show whether Russia will be able to stand against Western designs in the Middle East and wider area.
