The man's life and his family are being threatened just because he speaks the truth. What more can you say about some deranged Sebs(not all of them).

Unbelievable to see that there are even Serbs here who agree to or show understanding for those threads of violence. Says a lot about the Serbian society in general. What a shame.

I don't like this guy's anti Serbian campaigns but to receive threats against his children & family etc is hardcore. I would be very scared if I received this letter.

Čedo should stop sending such letters to himself. If he is that desperate for votes, he should look for a career change or become a citizen of what he considers a 'civilized' country.

So this is a very dangerous and ominous sign, but one that should not surprise us, given recent events in serbia, in mitrovica, and most recently statements by milosevic, i mean dacic, about "we should never rule out the possibility of war..."

as for cedi, he has been subject to numerous such threats over the years, as we have mentioned. he is numero uno target (of the fascists) among serbian politicians, along with some of the prominent belgrade human rights advocates, who are uterly marginalized by the um democratic press. it is because of that reality (anyone remember what happened to djindjic??) that i have often said: cedi represents a small minority, maybe 10%? and thank god, for his sake. if he were really seen as a threat on the serbian pol scene, we'd be attending, or commenting on, yet another pol funeral in belgrade. no joke, no exaggeration. welcome to democratic serbia.

beyond that, the pitch of aggressive, bellicose nationalist agitation is higher than ever among serbs. we see it and read it here every day, and the last few weeks have been uglier than in a long time, perhaps since 2008. while many of us here have been focusing on kosova, i just spoke with my Bosnian frnd, who is more upset about the possibility of war -- inside Bosnia -- than i've ever heard. this is what sonia was bringing up years ago. while most outward attention is focused on "HOLY kosovo" or holy 1/2 mitrovica, serb nationalist extremists are pushing more and more to separate "RS" from bosnia. yes, led by the horrible demagogue do-dik. yes, the same RS built upon genocide. but that is serbia's way, as it has done thru the past century, as is threatens to do yet again. what the hell do you think they have in mind when they threaten: don't rule out another war...? a nice clean battlefield strategy? i don't think so.

A person, or group of persons send a threatening letter to a Pro american liberal in serbia-and this forum turns into a serb bashing circus. this is typical of the liberal establishment in serbia, europe and the united states.

While proclaiming peace and ethnic reconciliation the liberal movement in serbia walks hand in hand with the united states-they never condemn the americans nor the europeans. Serbias liberals look the other way as america conducts mass murder across the middle east and sends weapons into the arms of homicidal drug cartels in neighboring mexico. America and NATO are warmongers , but to people such as jovanovic, there is never any condemnation of the west. So, to whoever is making these threats, I suggest you should change your tactics if you're to achieve anything at all.
