Albanians are not Illyrians. They had come from Caucasus in 11th Century as mercenaries of Arabs and Byzantines. Albanian language is Caucasian, similar to Chechen. It has nothing common with ancient Illyrian. The true Illyrians were romanized and later slavized.

It is so naive for NATO(KFOR) to consistently speak of freedom of movement and protection like as if anyone is not going to see through that. It is clear why NATO are trying to remove blockades. Every time you talk about freedom of movement you show us your lack of intelligence & understanding of the situation.

20 000 Serbs requesting RF citizenship was a political move, that much was inferred by Lavrov last week. icj should read news less selectively. With no UN recognition, a Russian EC by Nis, a modern Serbian military, 1244 still in effect and threats of war from Belgrade then its a bad time to be Albanian. Better times are to come for Serbs but for Albanians it can only get worse.

And I did not read anything selectively; I read about the applications for Russian citizenship, about what Sergei said and the Russian law on the matter as suggested by Sergei. So I read rather comprehensively :)

You Albanians can talk on this site all you want but you never act. You are hanging on the NATO bandwagon like as if they are Albanian soldiers. If you are independent then you would have control of us Serbs. You are NOT independent because not even your helpers/occupiers can have their way.

21 soldiers injured, some of them seriously? If that's news, then it is also news to explain exactly how they were injured. Notice that we know that Serbs were injured by tear gas. This was reported. Notice that nobody is accusing the Serbs of injuring the soldiers. What happened? Did they slip on a banana peel? A bomb went off in Metrovica about the same time this little confrontation was going on. A slight slip in the reporting and somebody might imagine that KFOR soldiers were injured by the bomb. We saw similar reports in the nineties from the Balkans. I sure hope they don't think that lying like that is going to work again.

KFOR was not trying to subdue Serb civilians who, we all know, are strong supporters of 1244 and KFOR. KFOR was trying to address the concerns of Serb civilians represented by Zvečan Mayor Dragiša Milović who said (according to B92) that northern Kosovo Serbs are facing a difficult winter when it comes to freedom of movement, among others. So nobody could accuse KFOR that is not helping Serbs. Now, we can dispute whether KFOR put the best effort against some people who are hindering the freedom of movement of northern Kosovo Serbs, but, on the face, KFOR did all it could and it cannot be accused of inaction regarding the freedom of movement of northern Kosovo Serbs that Dragiša is concerned about.

This the day after Serbian interior minister said that going to war for Kosovo should be an option. Serbia openly supports the violence in Mitrovica. NATO should understand that this is an indirect attack by Serbia, on NATO and the Kosovo government. I wouldn't be surprised if this is followed by more radical steps by Belgrade.
PS the "balanced" view from Russia and RT is laughable "Serbs in Kosovo being tear gassed" no mention of why.

These Belgrade-controlled minorities are hurting KFOR soldiers that are doing their job. Just know your sympathy is dwindling quickly ... I have a feeling that as the soldier count increases in the Uni Hospital the KFOR Gen will get fed up and will actually take serious action

1. KFOR should use more tear gas and start using water cannons, rubber bullets and high pitch sirens. Even bring out the Dog Squad. Time to get tough with them!

21 soldiers injured, some of them seriously? If that's news, then it is also news to explain exactly how they were injured. Notice that we know that Serbs were injured by tear gas. This was reported. Notice that nobody is accusing the Serbs of injuring the soldiers. What happened? Did they slip on a banana peel? A bomb went off in Metrovica about the same time this little confrontation was going on. A slight slip in the reporting and somebody might imagine that KFOR soldiers were injured by the bomb. We saw similar reports in the nineties from the Balkans. I sure hope they don't think that lying like that is going to work again.

20 000 Serbs requesting RF citizenship was a political move, that much was inferred by Lavrov last week. icj should read news less selectively. With no UN recognition, a Russian EC by Nis, a modern Serbian military, 1244 still in effect and threats of war from Belgrade then its a bad time to be Albanian. Better times are to come for Serbs but for Albanians it can only get worse.

I feel sorry for the heavily armed foreigners pretending to be "doing their job" in Kosovo.. NOT.
You Albanians can talk on this site all you want but you never act. You are hanging on the NATO bandwagon like as if they are Albanian soldiers. If you are independent then you would have control of us Serbs. You are NOT independent because not even your helpers/occupiers can have their way.
Stop the foreign occupation of our land. Thaci & Co. stay the hell away from us, we don't need you nor do we want you.
It is so naive for NATO(KFOR) to consistently speak of freedom of movement and protection like as if anyone is not going to see through that. It is clear why NATO are trying to remove blockades. Every time you talk about freedom of movement you show us your lack of intelligence & understanding of the situation.
Noone believes the mask that NATO wears. We won't have our land taken away nor our people cleansed so stop wasting your time & money.
The portugese troops will probably be getting their first signs of hypothermia soon whilst us Serbs & Russians have in our DNA the genes to live comfortably under winter conditions.

Those 20000 did not say they were not serious when applying for Russian citizenship. Whom to believe ? You or those 20000 that don't want to be Serbs ?! So yeah, it appears to be a bad time being a Serb according to Serbs...
And I did not read anything selectively; I read about the applications for Russian citizenship, about what Sergei said and the Russian law on the matter as suggested by Sergei. So I read rather comprehensively :)

Albanians are not Illyrians. They had come from Caucasus in 11th Century as mercenaries of Arabs and Byzantines. Albanian language is Caucasian, similar to Chechen. It has nothing common with ancient Illyrian. The true Illyrians were romanized and later slavized.

In any case, Resolution 1244 is still in force and still supported by Albanians, Serbs, Russians, Chinese, NATO, and everybody.
