This so called state of Kosovo just goes from bad to worse!
This must be the biggest blunder in EU history in the last 10.000 years!

EU for 10,000 Years? Dream on, the Euro will be dead and buried within the next two years, the organisation itself may live on, but for no longer then 30 years

The EP's draft opinion is irrelevant. The Council of Ministers will decide. As for Serbophobes like Lunek and that slovenian codpiece, they are damaging their own credibility (!) more each time they align themselves with the kosovo albanians as the news about tax dodging, crime and corruption from Kosovo only gets worse. There are only so many excuses they can make and they are running out of new ones.

Wouldn't it make more sense to say "22 out of EU's 27 EU members have recognized Kosovo as independent"? 22 is after all a much bigger number than 5.
(AC, 21 November 2011 13:26)

No, because then it would sound something like this: "despite 22 out of 27 EU members recognizing Kosovo's statehood, including major countries like Germany, France, Great Britain, and Italy, Kosovo remains mired by economic corruption, political dysfunctionality, a general lack of law and order, and one of the lowest standards of living in Europe."

Better to focus on 5 countries than don't recognize it than focus on 22 that do and still note all the problems that never appear to be going away :)

Sure, say it that way if it makes you happy, but even if they said 26 out of 27 it still won't get you anywhere.
It has to be 27, not 26, just 27.
All it take is one to veto and you're not in.
I know the same works for Serbia, but for Serbia it would be the best thing that can happen.

Be prepared that there will be a bloodbath if this partition happends.

Who will fight whom? Or this is your way to blackmail KSerbs from Southern Kosovo enclaves?

"In criticizing Kosovo, the document uses terms such as manipulations and serious irregularities, rather than discrepancies, a word often used by some other international officials."

'Manipulations' is fine, but an even better and more appropriate term for the things officials of Thaci's party did during the last voting would be 'election faking', 'vote buying' and 'voter intimidation'

Such statements can only be smoked in a drugged brain.

Make this: The Province of the Republic is not at level that can create a legal state.
