Unfortunately you remind me of a dog I had as it used to run around in ever diminishing circles much like your arguments.
(sj, 22 November 2011 22:00)

Why unfortunately ? Come on sj, don’t lose your mind… you know I’m one of the strongest defenders (similarly to your dog) of your brilliant economic and financial analysis. My arguments are nothing when compared to a giant like you in the realm of financial and economic analysis.
----------

The Russians are happy to grant the Serbs in Kosovo citizenship in addition to their existing one.
(sj, 22 November 2011 22:00)

I know they would be happy, but the Russian Law does not allow it. And we all know that Russia is a rule of law country and even Sergei said that the Russian Law on citizenship has to be applied. But I’m sympathetic. I really hope that those Serbs don’t end up in Siberia, but rather have a happy life in some warmer part of the great Russia.
----------

Now for the thousandth time they are doing this because they do not want the Americans from endangering their energy lines to Europe.
(sj, 22 November 2011 22:00)

But as you have correctly said for a very long time, Americans are all p… and wind. No, my friend, they can’t endanger the almighty Russia.

Maybe you were speaking of the press conference where he was explaining that they would welcome these Serbs into Russia as citizens but they could not legally grant them citizenship in Kosovo.
But then again FACTS has never been one of your strong points, or really one of your points.
I once knew a guy just like you may have been you, were you in the US during the 80's? One day he told me about his misfortunate parachuting experience, and the next day he told me he had only been in a plane one time and it almost crashed and he would never get in one again. His issue was that he CREATED so many stories trying to make himself seem important, he could not keep them straight.

Lord of the Dance you have a delightful sense of humour – the US giving the Albanians citizenship LOL indeed. The US hold no affinity with your lot whatsoever except that they want to hold onto Camp Krusty in Kosovo.

When the US announces that one let me know. Where have I heard that even some Americans are concerned, try a source in your State Department, I’m only quoting what I heard in the media.

Let me explain this to you for the thousandth time, the Americans are RATSHIT to say the least and its only posturing because the west has banded together otherwise the US would be like little island in the ocean. Its racked up 15 trillion and increasing daily, well that the official version but in actual fact the debt is much higher than that.

However, as the entire western financial system is unravelling so is everything they support.

(pss, 22 November 2011 14:31)

Actually from the Russian foreign minister at a press conference. Haven’t you noticed that everything is quiet in that region? It’s not because the Serbs can over run KFOR, but simply put the Russians are here.

No country in the world did not make the state of his province.
(Djedo, 21 November 2011 14:23)
_______________

Canada allowed its province of Quebec to hold a referendum twice to seccede.( once in 1980s and in the 90s)

Although its was close in the second referendum, Canada treats its French minority as first class citizens therefore they had the confidence that Quebec would remain in Canada the only place they could achive thier province's full potential.

Unlike Canada, jugoslavs were intolerant with each other and suffered a bloody breakup.

What the media does not like to mention is Russia’s hand in all of this Kosovo business, especially offering 35000 Serbs Russian citizenship on the proviso they remain in Kosovo. What an interesting mix this is turning out to be.
(sj, 21 November 2011 23:11)

A very interesting mix indeed, but in Russia - a mix between Russian and Serbs. Russian law requires those who apply for Russian Citizenship to reside in Russia for some years. I really hope those 35000 Serbs find some warm place in south-west of Russia to reside in, because Siberia would not be too much of a sacrifice for just getting Russian citizenship and loosing the Serbia and/or Kosovo one in the process.

What is the purpose of all of this – to maintain the pressure cooker affect on the west as sooner or later BOOOM as the Albanians will turn against their masters. It’s no joke nor is it a theory as even some Americans are worried over that issue.
(sj, 21 November 2011 23:11)

sj,

Did it ever occur to you that two can play that game? What if the U.S. gave citizenship to another group in that region? If you ask me, I think the Russians will very look stupid if they are willing to stick their necks out for our Kosova Serbs. Btw, can you identify these Americans you claim are worried over this issue?

"a triple policy: for the media, for the citizens, and for the U.S. and EU".

This is right and all for something that will never happen. Serbia will never be a EU member.

sj

pre 12 godina

This dialogue is a total waste of time for so many reasons.

Firstly, the EU has changing into a very different entity despite the Germans objecting fiercely to those changes as it means they will not be able to control Europe, but when they don’t have the money to support their preferred version, in the end these changes will take on a life of their own.

Australia’s conservative party leader Tony Abbot spoke about the EU last night and how it can no longer exist in its current format. He stated that the only viable form was to have a Euro free trade and movement zone and nothing else.

The EU is now offering “second class” membership with no financial rewards at all. So what are the benefits of joining again? None that I can think of. I can’t see the likes of France agreeing to reduce the amount of rural subsidy its farmers receive from the EU so that it could be divided amongst the newer members.

What the media does not like to mention is Russia’s hand in all of this Kosovo business, especially offering 35000 Serbs Russian citizenship on the proviso they remain in Kosovo. What an interesting mix this is turning out to be.

Technically, if the majority accept, and that may happen if Belgrade continues with this sell out, these talks between Pristina and Belgrade will be of no consequence because the Albanians are going to have to talk to Moscow as it will affect its citizens.

What is the purpose of all of this – to maintain the pressure cooker affect on the west as sooner or later BOOOM as the Albanians will turn against their masters. It’s no joke nor is it a theory as even some Americans are worried over that issue.

Well, if the Euro system is flawed, it means that it will be replaced by another better or less worse system. So there is always something to offer. Of course, if Serbia does not like the offer, it does not have to beg to be admitted to the EU and in the process will also save Kosovo from the headache of Serbia being an EU member; so everybody will be happy.
