Serbians top list of asylum seekers in Germany

In the past most of them have been non-ethnic Serbs like Roma or Albanians so I don't see why anything has changed. I do expect some of them to be Serbs. After all, we have the highest number of refugees and IDPs in Europe. Ethnic cleansing has been successfully carried out by Albanians and Croatians with Western backing.

...and I thought Serbs had a thing against Germany?

Obviously only when it suits them.

I wonder why serbs dont seek asylum in Russia ?? We hear everyday by serbs that russians are their brothers and that Russia is a rich country.....

Probably most of them smuggled by human traffickers. As if there would be any chance that people from Serbia get their asylum request granted. Being an economic refugees is not a good reason for asylum.

Lies, damn lies and statistics. Without a breakdown of whom the Ministry calls 'Serbians' this news is close to meaningless. We know that almost all the non-albanians cleansed from Serbia who went to Germany as refugees were deported back, but did Germany deport these people back to Kosovo, where they came from, or to their definition of Serbia which does not include Kosovo?

This is the same BS PR managment we got with the US embassy shooter in Sarajevo where the guy was identified as 'Serbian' and it was not mentioned that he is a wahabbi.

Regional leader? Or world leader?

If they are leaving cuz they are looking for work then simply go to Germany and get a job. Before they leave Serbia they should get a University degree or learn a trade and learn German. If they have something to offer they can apply for a work visa and will most likely get one. Quite simple.

Yes there are jobs out there. But I have a bad feeling that many people are not prepared to do the really hard jobs.

Oh where now are those Serb commentators who always rave in the comments about how evil Germany is? They and their fellow conspirators the Vatican and Croatia are constantly touted as the number one evil to Serbs-Except when they want to escape their country, that is!
Oh, and those people that keep insisting these are mainly "Roma, Albanians, etc" tell me why for decades there has been a HUGE Serbian population in Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart etc when they are de evil ones?

Send them back to Serbia eventually they'll get the message and hopefully start making a better life for themselves back home.

It is more than likely those who are fortunate enough to realize that if the EU thing falls short and Serbia crawls to Russia for comfort that life will not be a bed of roses. That will probably mean a total isolation of Serbia with the only transport in and out will be labor details traveling to Russia, and no freedom of movement in Europe.
