“We do not accept presence of any customs officers at the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings. We are obligated by positions and decisions of our assemblies and that was presented to Stefanović,” he pointed out. “
Well, what some Albanians or Serbs accept or don’t accept is irrelevant. UNMIK has spoken and its regulation 3 of 1999 requires that customs taxes be collected for goods destined to Kosovo. End of the story. There is nothing Serb officials can do about it.

“ “A decision on whether the barricades will remain at the administrative crossings will be made by citizens. They chose us as representatives of their municipalities and we will respect their decisions,” Pantić stressed.”
Of course, barricades can remain as long as they wish to cut off K. Serbs from the traitors in Serbia.

“ “Such customs management exists between Kosovo and Macedonia and Kosovo and Albania. It is unacceptable to us that the same rules that apply to neighboring countries apply to Kosovo and central Serbia,” the Kosovska Mitrovica mayor explained. “
Great explanation, noted and ignored. UNMIK regulations don’t set different customs rules for Kosovo crossings depending on where they are.

He told a press conference that it was unacceptable to Serbia to turn the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings into a state border and that all solutions for them would be in accordance with the Serbian Constitution, laws and UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
He needs to revert the priority. It’s UN Security Council Resolution 1244 first; the others don’t count if they are not in line with 1244. And UNMIK has decided that customs taxes will be collected at crossings, so they will be collected, regardless of what Serbia’s Constitution or laws say. Also, he does not speak for Serbia.
