Is that Balkan Anthropologist admitting and endorsing genocide against the Albanians? Thus completely justifying NATOs involvement?

I'm glad people in congress are supporting the Serbs, but a congressman from Texas? Seriously? It's all about interest groups. Who ever pays congress more, serbs or albanians, will get the most support. Albanians seem to have paid more in the past and it looks like that's changing.

Seems like more and more people around the world realize that experiment based on the (good) idea of creating a multiethnic, democratic Kosovo which shares European values and where people can live in peace and justice no matter what their ethnicity is has miserably failed. The politicians who made these statements could not pin point the Balkans on the map. Clinton said he was happen to be in Macedonia last year while being in Budva. The U.S. congressmen are just collecting lobbying $$ from both sides and could care less about the long term consequences for this part of the world. So I don't take either of there comments too seriously, I truly think most congressmen in the U.S. don't know what the hell their talking about on 90% of the things they talk about much less Eastern Europe.

Their support isn't based off good will, traditional relations or international law. If the $$ is there don't you worry there will be support. You just have to pay for it dearly...George Soros has been in Kosovo 5 times in the last year discussing plans for extraction of the mineral wealth underneath Kosovo. Once this wealth is extracted and privatized there will be no reason why our region gets even half the amount of attention and funding from the Western countries. There's nothing politicians and the Western bankers actually care about other than $100-300 billion dollars worth of natural resources.

They will take what you were led to believe was yours (the actual land of Kosovo). The province will just be sucked up of everything its worth (going nothing to the people living there), the Westerns will shortly leave thereafter leaving it up too only the populations living in the region to solve problems.

The policy of Pristina is making that the possibility of long term stability and peace is not likely. You are trying to take everything and give nothing in return and that way keep a door open to future conflict which no one wants. K.Albs are spoiled politically and they think that this generous aid will always be there as if you are loved in the Western world. But I think they're ready to really get things started in the Balkans. Extraction is about to begin which means when you're worthless, help wont be around.

Serbia should stop paying for lobbyists, the future is already mapped out for the region so it wont help. Invade, take sides, extract then go home is either way going to be the outcome no matter who's right or who spends more. How will the toothless tiger in Pristina defend their big talk then?

I remember when Obama said US policy on KiM could change but it is a slow process. In fact, they won't have a choice as it will change so better to be with the trend than against it. As you can see, the US congress is hard at work -> http://governmentwatchdog.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/house-pic.jpg LOL!

Considering the rhetoric my country has been stating about Kosovo for years, the noted change in tone - albeit slight but still noticeable - regarding self-determination and local administration appears to be a major watershed in a possible change in attitude by Washington. While this is still the personal opinions of officials in Committee meetings, and while I sincerely doubt Washington will ever change its official policy on Kosovo's statehood, signs of a change in policy towards Kosovo's internal administration, as well as official support for a fully investigation into the Marty Report, is defnitely a welcome, and needed, sign. The frozen conflict that Kosovo has become, and likely will remain for the foreseeable future, has finally been able to jostle the US into viewing its wayward protectorate in a more sobering light. Too bad B92 didn't include the section it had on the Serbian site about growing criticism for Chistopher Dell, who's been running Kosovo like a piece of private property. While I don't support moves in partitioning Kosovo since it only benefits the north and leaves the rest of the Serbian enclaves vulnerable, I sincerely hope the US will eventually push for absolute autonomy of the Serbian municipalities in handling their own affairs apart from Pristina and in maintaining as many ties to Belgrade as needed.

Exactly! Just look at your neighbors and you see how alone are in your approach. Kosova has 4 neighbors and only Serbia think that is not a state and has no border. To be against all is Milosevic strategy. And you know now as successful was his strategy, especially for Serbs in Kosova.

Serbia Insists on Every Letter of United Nations Security Council Six Point Plan for Kosovo to be Fully Implemented, which Explicitly Excludes ANY Kosovo Albanian, or Kosovo Albanian Government Representative or Representatives at the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative checkpoints.

Regardless of what the Kosovo Albanians say, they are not in favour of Joint Control of administrative checkpoints, and neither is Serbia, especially for the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative checkpoints.

Even before the European Union Mediated Talks began, one Condition that both the Albanians and the Serbs agreed to, was that during these Talks, there would be no mention of the Status of Kosovo, and that both sides agreed that they would not do anything to change the situation on the ground by using any Unilateral steps.

We can see that the Albanians never keep their word, and the Albanians can either Negotiate Autonomy that is according to the Serbian Constitution, UNSCR 1244, and the Six Point Plan for Kosovo, or they can choose Isolation, or Imposed Autonomy by EULUX and the European Union.

resolution 1244 (1999) will be reinstated at gates 1 and 31. Their deployment
modalities will as far as possible reflect the modalities of the European integrated
border management concept, which may include co-location of customs points. The

the protocol between the tax administration of Serbia, acting for the Ministry of
Finance, and the UNMIK Customs Service, acting for the United Nations Interim
Administration Mission in Kosovo, on cooperation and mutual administrative
assistance on value-added tax and excise tax matters related to the transport of
goods across the Administrative Boundary Line, and annexes thereto, as well as the
agreed minutes of the bilateral meeting in the context of the Central European Free
Trade Agreement enlargement negotiations of 2006.

For illegal aliens in Serbian Kosovo rule of the law is: you are not citizen of Serbia "your deportation is in next for 48 hours, please."

Your best bet is to get back your Russian citizenship, and move back where you came from. The sooner the better.

8. It is necessary for all People of Kosovo including the Kosovo Albanians to mutually recognize that Serbia’s Province of Kosovo has a border with FYROM, Albania, and Montenegro, but not with Serbia.

There is a Provincial administrative line, between Serbia and its Province of Kosovo.

(Yet Another J S, 16 November 2011 13:03)

Exactly! Just look at your neighbors and you see how alone are in your approach. Kosova has 4 neighbors and only Serbia think that is not a state and has no border. To be against all is Milosevic strategy. And you know now as successful was his strategy, especially for Serbs in Kosova.
If the strategy is the same the result will be the same.

“It is our stand that there should be no change in borderlines. Such thing could be also requested by Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albanians in southern Serbia who want to join Kosovo and that would open a Pandora's box,” Gordon pointed out.

So, why are they trying to change borders by taking away Kosovo from Serbia?

Interesting ripples of dissent beginning in the US Congress as more and more politicians are starting to question the Kosovo experiment and are seeing the goons in Pristina for what they really are.

There is a Provincial administrative line, between Serbia and its Province of Kosovo.

'Harsh criticism over Serbia's policy came from Ohio's' representative Jean Schmidt and New York Congressman Eliot Engel. '

Surprise, surprise. That anti-Serb scumbag Engel is still at it, lobbying hard for the organ snatchers. He's getting lots of free pizza in New York I bet.
And get this, we have Ivan Vejvoda there to support the Serb position?? God help us!! Vejvoda is part of the traitor fifth column in Serbia. I like how Konuzin put that sellout quisling Vejvoda in his place here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hiWko6Zr_Q&feature=related
They should have sent Konuzin to represent us!!
The yanks are a funny bunch. They talk about it being dangerous to change borders, after they recognized Tito's internal administrative borders and completely changed the borders of Yugoslavia. Except for a few well informed congressmen and senators, most of them are swimming in a sea of ignorance and only follow the path of the lobbyists who bribe them the most, which is pure corruption. Pathetic. And they have the nerve to lecture other countries of 'democracy', when their whole system is based on bribes and lobbyists.

Those neighbours that you suggest support Kosovo independence are all weak. They were all paid and promised EU membership for the recognition of Kosovo. Ask ordinary Montenegrins and Macedonians and see what they think of albanians and to whom Kosovo truly belongs. Heck, not even the croats like you.

Maybe you could highlight the parts of the 6 point plan that explicitly excludes any Kosovo Albanian or other Kosovo Albanian Government Representative from the checkpoints.
To help you out here is a copy of the part of the 6point plan that outlines what was to happen in 2008 just reference the explicit instructions listed.
"35. Kosovo will continue to function as a single customs area.
36. International customs officers appointed in accordance with Security Council
resolution 1244 (1999) will be reinstated at gates 1 and 31. Their deployment
modalities will as far as possible reflect the modalities of the European integrated
border management concept, which may include co-location of customs points. The
officers will apply procedures in accordance with resolution 1244 (1999), including
the protocol between the tax administration of Serbia, acting for the Ministry of
Finance, and the UNMIK Customs Service, acting for the United Nations Interim
Administration Mission in Kosovo, on cooperation and mutual administrative
assistance on value-added tax and excise tax matters related to the transport of
goods across the Administrative Boundary Line, and annexes thereto, as well as the
agreed minutes of the bilateral meeting in the context of the Central European Free
Trade Agreement enlargement negotiations of 2006.
37. The rates consistent with the UNMIK regulation No. 2004/1 on Kosovo will be
applied."
And I do not see any movement by EULEX or EU to impose either isolation or Imposed Autonomy on the Kosovo govt.

US Congress is not DUMA.

Of course there will be different voices, they have always been (Kosova is not Israel). The important thing is the state policy i.e. what today the State Dept said: no division no exchange - which of course conveniently was not reported by b92.

I remember when Obama said US policy on KiM could change but it is a slow process. In fact, they won't have a choice as it will change so better to be with the trend than against it. Once the smoke clears they'll realise "Kosova" was a still born. It really is a matter of the blind leading the blind until reality hits them on the head. As you can see, the US congress is hard at work -> http://governmentwatchdog.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/house-pic.jpg LOL!

I'm glad people in congress are supporting the Serbs, but a congressman from Texas? Seriously? It's all about interest groups. Who ever pays congress more, serbs or albanians, will get the most support. Albanians seem to have paid more in the past and it looks like that's changing.

Seems like more and more people around the world realize that experiment based on the (good) idea of creating a multiethnic, democratic Kosovo which shares European values and where people can live in peace and justice no matter what their ethnicity is has miserably failed. So some other solution must be found.

Fools of the US thinking they have the solution for Kosovo.

The Solution can only be by War,
since the Albanians has not already split Kosovo in two after Etnical lines but wants the whole of Kosovo for themselves.

Winds of change can start with a breeze.
The US is looking to set up shop in other places like Australia. They are trying to block China's influence in that region so they may realize that they can't be overstretched.

Such words only gives a bad neighbor and to be applied to other Balkan natives who came before you. In my opinion you hate the whole neighborhood proof is of what you are doing in Kosovo.
