I think we both know that there is no such thing as democracy anywhere. Sure we can decide about which shampoo to buy but we really don't have any say in what "democratic" governments do.
At least 70% of people in Australia were and still are bitterly opposed to Carbon Tax which our PM Ju-liar (Julia) has imposed on us even after declaring during election campaign that there will never be a Carbon Tax under the government she leads and yet we are forced to have it.
What democracy? She wasn't even elected. She got in by making deals with the Greens and three independents.
I seriously doubt that the government in Serbia intends to lose the next election. They know they have it in the bag no matter what they have to do to achieve it. Like I said, George Dubuya times are coming to Serbia too.
The Yanks have no intention of losing their grip on Serbia's politicians.
I really hope I am wrong. There will be a significant number of people voting for these sellouts but I don't think they will have enough to get back in without some funny business going on. That's why I feel so very sorry for people of Serbia.

It's so sad that people will still vote for those traitors. Maybe it will be a George Bush scenario but I see the current government returned.

"He said that the agreement on the custom seal, mentioned in the government report, was "disgraceful", while it was "scandalous" that the Serbian authorities "falsified UNSC Resolutions 1244 with their lies that the document allows for establishment of customs crossings" on the administrative checkpoints in northern Kosovo."

Not just "allows", but it is MANDATORY under UNMIK regulation no 3 of 1999 that border posts be established for the customs control for goods destined for Kosovo. Mr Aleksic needs to be reminded that 1244 is still in force and UNMIK is still alive. It's 1244 and UNMIK regulations that matter in Kosovo, not Serbia's Constitution or Serbia's Criminal Code.

Exactly, where does it say in UNSCR1244 that KiM is a customs zone on its own?

The state prosecutor will never take notice of the SRS, as long as they oppose Tadic and speak the truth about his policies over Kosovo they will continue to be shunned. I dont get why people pretend Serbia is now a fully democratic country just because the supposedly centre-left DS is in dominant power, things like this just go to show that little has changed since Milosevic's era, no matter how much they like to pretend a lot has.
