@Nenad.
Nothing obtained by deception is of any good and won't last.
It took 500 years for Serbs to get rid of Turks but it happened. Eventually God steps in but in case you are in a hurry, you will get to see what God thinks of all this when you are ready to meet him.

Are you saying God favors Slavs?

God favours the righteous whoever they may be.
I wonder how many are going to be so confident when it's time to meet him.

Peggy,

Where was God when Patriarch Pavle was blessing Mladic and Karadzic for battle in BiH? Sarajevo is still a largely Muslim city. Where was God when Serb refugees were being marched out of Krajina -- less than 70 years after many thousands of them had been murdered at Jasenovac? Where was God in 1999 when Milosevic was withdrawing troops from the Cradle of Serbian Civilization? Where was God at Kosovo Polje in 1389? How many Serbian losses must be suffered before God decides there have been enough and blesses Serbs with victory? And what sins have Serbs committed that have thus far delayed that blessing of victory?

Seems to me that B92 gives far too much oxygen to an insignificant wanna be politician.
(Peggy, 11 November 2011 13:34)

Wanna be politician? Whoever remembers the last held referendum on constitution of Serbia wouldn't agree with you. The referendum almost failed to achieve the sufficient participation due to Cedo's calls on its boycott. It took the last minute public cries of Tadic and other and referendum barely succeeded.

Nobody said God is Serbian but he sure is not Albanian either, or American for that matter.
You guys seem to worship the wrong God when you put all your faith in America.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, democracy, freedom; the BS of the 20 century. You can’t have something you never had.

Just because they yell at you that you have free speech it does not mean you have it.

NATO is on the same path as the EU = rat s***!!!!

This bozo Jovanovic wants to keep his name in the lime light. He runs a small and insignificant party and if his name is not in print then bye, bye political career.

Zoran,

Why would God take the side of Serbs in this fight? I am assuming you believe Albanian Muslims are wasting their time praying to Allah, but what about Albanian Christians? Are you saying God favors Slavs?

You're a clown Jovanovic...If you like the political agenda so much of "the West" so much feel free to move out of Serbia...I'm sure my kin folk would be appreciative of the move.

I don't understand why your afforded so much air time to peddle such crap.

Nenad, I thing that most people in Serbia and Kosovo would agree with your proposal to swap territories.

Let's face it. It's not like Serb politicians are in love with the Albanians who live in Presevo & Bujanovac and the feelings of Kosovo politicans are the same in regards to the Serbs in Northern Mitro.

But, since that probably won't happen the best thing Serbs could do is listen to what Jovanic is saying.
They've followed Sloba, Kostunica and now Tadic. And, things continue to get worse.

Einstein once defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

It reminds me of Serbian politics.

I am sick and tired of this idiot. If everything is so nice and dandy for Serbs living in Kosovos free and democratic paradise, Mr. Jovanovic why don’t you move to Kosovo and live there. Prove your point to the Serbian government, Serbian citizens and rest of the world. Otherwise shut your trap and disappear from political life. The way I see it and I am sure it’s true for majority of Serb citizens you Mr. Jovanovic are paid mouth piece for our enemies. Once your true motive is discovered I hope you are arrested for treason.

Nenad

I think he's right in the sense that this is a counter-productive struggle. By continuing to wrangle over control of a little piece of territory that no one else in the world really cares about, politicians in Pristina and Belgrade perpetuate the misery of the locals.

BRICS countries and the West have bigger priorities than intervention on behalf of Serbs or Albanians in any meaningful way -- not matter what their politicians might say.

Yes, we see Kosovo's progress stalled at the UN due to lack of support from such countries as Russia and China but lack of full-fledged Kosovan independence does not equate to Serbian sovereignty over Kosovo. And anyway, would the current situation on the ground in Kosovo really be much different as a result of UN membership?

If the north could never truly be integrated into the rest of Kosovo then find another solution. Swap territory so that Serbs live in Serbia and Albanians in Kosovo (to the greatest extent possible). Belgrade can then choose to recognize or not; Pristina can prepare for a long wait for UN membership and focus on making as much progress as possible in the meantime. Both sides can work out remaining details over the next 5-10 years (protection of Serbs and their property south of the Ibar, etc).

Let people in the region move on with their lives and work for lasting peace and prosperity.

I understand the passion behind the claims to the territory but neither side will ever convince the other, and when only endless conflict and economic hardship result from the struggle, what is the point? Furthermore, we know from other military outcomes in recent Balkan history that enemies can put down their weapons and move on (see Krajina, notwithstanding the fact that Serbia and Croatia are still trying to sue each other for genocide). And if Serbs and Albanians would happen to consider their enmity deeper than that between other Balkan adversaries, perhaps they should ask themselves why.

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Čedomir Jovanović says "people who get killed in Kosovo are victims of a misguided political agenda".

True, they are victims of a misguided political agenda of the Pristina government which wants to create trouble and tension in the north to draw attention from internal problems like EULEX investigations against politicians of the ruling party, corruption cases and lack of progress in general.

Čedomir Jovanović is the best fit for Serbian president. He understand the deficiencies of Serbs and is open to democratise Serbia, and allow minorities to have their say of their future. I think he speed up the Serbian entrance into EU and NATO even if it means that only Belgrade Paschalluk may me eligible to enter. The most of the rest of Serbian politicians are almost completely pure criminals who will work only for their pocket.
