If these people brand me a traitor for feeling compassion for a fellow human being, then what is there to say about them. All murders should be condemned like when I condemned the shooting of the Serb farmer a few weeks by an Albanian ago and the ROSU man by a Serb in the North. Here in Novi Sad, i live and work with many nationalities, Serbs, Croats, Hungarians, Slovaks, Bosnians and there is no problems whatsoever. Everybody respects each other. That is the way it should be. It is the same when i go to Belgrade to visit friends and my uncle.

I agree with alot of what you say. I also do believe that if you were to get 10 Albanians and 10 Serbs into a room without any interference from Russia, US, EU, NATO, Thaci they would hammer out a deal that would be acceptable to all.

A question: "breaking-and-entering in the nighttime" is a special category in US law - what about in Europe? Does it make a difference whether the house is occupied or not during the break-in/attempted break-in?

But you are right, Serbs were in principle the losers in the break-up of Yugoslavia. In today's world, you don't need Germans, or Russians, or Turks on your side, but the world's media.
Maybe that was the failure of Milosevic - that he did not understand that war crimes and genocide would lose the support of the world's media? Or is this the weakness in the Serb approach: the heroic stand against the rest of the world no longer works in the global village we have today.

My 10 points are awarded to 'Bekim' from Novi Sad for being HUMAN.
It is sad when the mentality that exists the least is the mentality of basic humanity.
Can anyone here honestly kill an Albanian or a Serb who has not directly done anything to them or their relatives? I think if you are human & you follow basic principles of basic humanity then you cannot just kill someone who has not personally done anything to you or your family.
Therefore the answer of ethnic cleansing and not finding a solution is invalid.
Hatred between Albanians & Serbians today exists primarily for past wars but has also been exacerbated by foreign occupation & higher political powers for their own greed of money, power & political agendas.
I personally hate NATO/KFOR/America & Germany because my research & understanding show me that they have more sinister objectives that are motivated by a hunger for power & wealth and not for the protection of civil rights.
My anger is at the foreign occupiers and also the individual who commits the crimes.
My anger is at many of the political leaders in Pristina who do nothing for their people and everything for money & business exchanges.
I wish more Albanians would not disparage the Serbs who are trying to protect their identity in the North & other areas, because they are not aggressors and there needs to be more understanding of their motivations.
As 'Bekim' the Albanian from Novi Sad saidl, all violence/killings should be condemned. There should be NO blood feud.
When we lose one of our people we are sad and are also sad/angered because of the injustice & lack of prosecuting the guilty/responsible.
If the shootings/murders continue and the desecrating/vandalism continues then the revenge/anger will never stop. That is why we need to be angry at those responsible for not doing enough to STOP the violence in both directions.
If 3 Albanians were shot & one died and Serbs were responsible then I would condemn this & want the Serbs to be arrested because shooting them dead is not the answer.
I would only expect this to build more anger & hatred among Albanians against the Serbs. But instead of generalising the whole race we should ALL condemn the attack and find those responsible.
Please understand the Serbs who are fed up with these attacks & murders just as I would understand the same in the reverse. Also the Germans (most powerful in Europe), USA and UK are all being bias against us Serbs so we have so many things contributing to our frustration and anger.
The only solution I see is ridding the occupiers and fighting against the imperialism & western powers from treating us like primates of Europe.
We are all aware that we do not share the same religion and same culture but I think we can be amicable & treat each other equally if given the chance and strive to do so.
The only solution for peace is to stop the hatred. We shouldn't set the goals too high for integration among Albanians & Serbs because of our cultural differences but I'm sure that there are common human qualities that the good people can use as tools for peace.
I'm deeply saddened every time I read of a murder or fight between Serbs/Albanians. And I'm more saddened every time I hear of NATO/KFOR firing tear gas & pepper spray at my people who have inhabited Kosovo for hundreds of years and are just protecting their identity.
Don't give up on resolution, but I think NATO are NOT helping any of us and are only implementing the objectives of the RICH & POWERFUL.

I would like to thank you both for rising above the usual nationalistic banter that goes on here and acknowledge what this crime really is: the murder of a member of one ethnic group by a member (or members) of another. There is no excuse for it regardless of what led to the conflict, nor would most Albanians on this site think the same way if it were they who were killed by Serbs. I want to also applaud you for at least trying to find some common ground between the two sides in Kosovo. You show that there are a lot of good people, Serb, Albanian or others, who just want to live in peace and that killings like this are a leftover and unwanted relic from the 1990s. I too am personally sick and tired of all this nationalistic-led violence. Give me 10 Serbs and 10 Albanians who rationally want a compromise solution to Kosovo and I'll give you a solved situation by the end of the year. Anyone who thinks they deserve some bravado points over an incident like this, or any incident of ethnic-related violence in Kosovo or anywhere else in the former Yugoslavia clearly never experienced the violence they write about so frequently.

I would like to condemn the murder of the Serbian man in question and I pass on my condolences to his family. There is no excuse for what happened. If there is a disagreement it should be settled in an amicable and friendly manner.
Lastly, I am deeply ashamed, disgusted and appalled by the reaction of my fellow Albanians to the murder. You do not speak for me or for the vast majority of law abiding people. Shame on you. An Albanian has been arrested. He was guarding some of the Albanian homes being rebuilt in the area, and a fight broke out during an attempted robbery. The police were called in (accounting for the presence of the Serb cop, who was not the person killed) and somebody fired a weapon (or weapons? - they're collecting shells). Six houses, belonging to both Serbs and Albanians, were searched. Sounds like it may be one of those inter-ethnic groups that manage to cooperate so nicely in crime.

vini my friend, the numbers you claim are greatly exagerated, based upon no actual investigation but rather picked cleanly out of the air. all independed investigations, you know where people actually look at things and actually count things, show the numbers to be around 4000-5000 of all ethnicities (not just ethnic albanians).
when you remember things you must remember then as the are, as they were measured and calculated not as they were propagandized. but hey, big e for effort my friend. atleast you were able to comprehend the surprisingly challanging group of addition, now you need to understand the difference between investigation and belief.

Who spent money to civilize Albanians Serbs?
First money and power influence for Albanian Civilization are spent from Church of Greece for the disappearance of Albanian language and identity. This was in line with the Sultan policy which wanted to Turkyfy the Albanian Musliman.The second that contribute to civilize the Albanians was Serbian which’s with the help of Russia, together with Greece get more than half of 4 Albanian Vylayets. So you get more than half of Albanian resources and people to contribute in Albanian civilization. Not satisfied with what you get try everything possible that even truncated Albania does not function. For the Albanian that were included within Yugoslavia you do everything possible for disappearance of Albanian language and identity, as consequence less enlighten Albanian. Yugoslav Communist ,specialy two Serbs comrades give the support for the dictator Hoxha as Head of Communist Party of Albania. Now you know what Hoxha has done for Albanian civilization. Milosevic concluded all your efforts for Albanian civilization. Anyway we are here proud to be Albanian with our civilization and tradition, with our strong and weak points.

EULEX urged to investigate attack on Serbs?? Why?? They already know who the killers are and are sheltering them. "Kosova" is a terrorist state while NATO and EULEX are partners in crime. Every time NATO's actions are resisted, they send out the terrorists to shoot and kill some Serbs. The same tactic was use by the NAZIs in WWII.

First of all, i'd like to express my condolences and sympathy, to the family of the person who died and to all of the serbs that this incident has provoked suffering or bad feelings. I wish that things like this will never happen again. Each of us albanians and serbs could blame rightfully ourselfs, because we all are responsible for the situation in Kosovo. Even though i'm from Albania,in a away i feel part of this situation. I don't really know what to say about this incident, but i feel really sorry for all the people in Kosovo, because they're suffering from bad politics. I'm sorry to say this, but we in the balcans are very primitive. We're a shame for Europe and for the civilised world generally. I don't know for example why the serbs in the north don't start talkin to the internatonal comunity and to the authorities in Pristina, but they instead send someone from Belgrade, to talk for them. I don't understand why? I think that if the serbs in the north one day will accomplish to be part of Serbia, the next day maybe they will regret. I think they will be better off without being formally part of Serbia. They will be more pivileged, i think like the germans in Trento, Italy. I know maybe this is will not make them all happy, but i think we all have to sacrifice something in order to have peace. The borders in a few years in the Balcans will be useless, like they are in Europe and a lot of us will be ashamed for this current stupid fight. So why don't try first to live within Kosovo, then if you don't like it you can start building barricades again. You can protect better you legitimate interest legally i think, that in this way that is not very productive. All albanians in Kosovo want justice, espacially with their politicians. They will very much appriciate to see, some of their politicians being arrested and condemned by eulex, but unfortunally eulex cannot fully exercise their mandate because they are blocked by the overall absurd situation that reins in Kosovo. The guys in the north are helping inderectly the war politicians in Kosovo to be in power. So, then guys don't blame only albanians for Thaci and company, you should blame a little bit yourselfs too. Maybe even some serbs leaders in the north like this situation, but this is another question. So guys serbs and albanians in Kosovo try talkinng directly between yourselfs, don't let Stefanovic or others guys from belgrade or Europes to talk for you. You know better your problems than anyone else. Maybe Russia and USA can help because none of us really understand "european". You guys understand better Russian, we understand better "American". So if this two great countries will eventually make up their mind and start putting some real pressure, on us. Maybe we can find some rest. Serbs in Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Kosovo were not given that right by the 'civilized West'. I guess the fact that we were the only ethnic group to fight against Nazism instead of supporting it, like all the others who were rewarded, leads any logical person to conclude that this anti-Serbian policy was dictated by Germany. But I guess we shouldn't condemn you people as hopelessly uncivilized. You've demonstrated something very simple and clear about life in Kosovo: any attempt at causing violence against one group can be met with equal if not more violent response all in the name of self defense and revenge. We see this everytime you people stone a bus carrying Serbs because of something that indirectly happened to you in 1999. Same goes for church looting and everything else the civilized world knows them for. So I guess if Serbs in northern Kosovo wish to engage in some sort of pogrom against Albanians, targeting their stores and homes, ripping up their graves, and chasing them south of the Ibar, or better yet back into Albania where they came from, it won't be because of Serbian nationalism. It's all justified and deserved because they were attacked first. Thank you Albanians for showing how violence can be justified in your eyes. 3000 years of supposed cultural heritage and history and you're still acting like a bunch of primitives. Serbs in Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Kosovo were not given that right by the 'civilized West'. I would like to condemn the murder of the Serbian man in question and I pass on my condolences to his family. There is no excuse for what happened. If there is a disagreement it should be settled in an amicable and friendly manner.

First of all, i'd like to express my condolences and sympathy, to the family of the person who died and to all of the serbs that this incident has provoked suffering or bad feelings. I wish that things like this will never happen again. Each of us albanians and serbs could blame rightfully ourselfs, because we all are responsible for the situation in Kosovo. Even though i'm from Albania,in a away i feel part of this situation. I don't really know what to say about this incident, but i feel really sorry for all the people in Kosovo, because they're suffering from bad politics. I'm sorry to say this, but we in the balcans are very primitive. We're a shame for Europe and for the civilised world generally. I don't know for example why the serbs in the north don't start talkin to the internatonal comunity and to the authorities in Pristina, but they instead send someone from Belgrade, to talk for them. I don't understand why? I think that if the serbs in the north one day will accomplish to be part of Serbia, the next day maybe they will regret. I think they will be better off without being formally part of Serbia. They will be more pivileged, i think like the germans in Trento, Italy. I know maybe this is will not make them all happy, but i think we all have to sacrifice something in order to have peace. The borders in a few years in the Balcans will be useless, like they are in Europe and a lot of us will be ashamed for this current stupid fight. So why don't try first to live within Kosovo, then if you don't like it you can start building barricades again. You can protect better you legitimate interest legally i think, that in this way that is not very productive. All albanians in Kosovo want justice, espacially with their politicians. They will very much appriciate to see, some of their politicians being arrested and condemned by eulex, but unfortunally eulex cannot fully exercise their mandate because they are blocked by the overall absurd situation that reins in Kosovo. The guys in the north are helping inderectly the war politicians in Kosovo to be in power. So, then guys don't blame only albanians for Thaci and company, you should blame a little bit yourselfs too. Maybe even some serbs leaders in the north like this situation, but this is another question. So guys serbs and albanians in Kosovo try talkinng directly between yourselfs, don't let Stefanovic or others guys from belgrade or Europes to talk for you. You know better your problems than anyone else. Maybe Russia and USA can help because none of us really understand "european". You guys understand better Russian, we understand better "American". All murders should be condemned like when I condemned the shooting of the Serb farmer a few weeks by an Albanian ago and the ROSU man by a Serb in the North. Here in Novi Sad, i live and work with many nationalities, Serbs, Croats, Hungarians, Slovaks, Bosnians and there is no problems whatsoever. Everybody respects each other. I would like to thank you both for rising above the usual nationalistic banter that goes on here and acknowledge what this crime really is: the murder of a member of one ethnic group by a member (or members) of another. There is no excuse for it regardless of what led to the conflict, nor would most Albanians on this site think the same way if it were they who were killed by Serbs. I want to also applaud you for at least trying to find some common ground between the two sides in Kosovo. You show that there are a lot of good people, Serb, Albanian or others, who just want to live in peace and that killings like this are a leftover and unwanted relic from the 1990s. I too am personally sick and tired of all this nationalistic-led violence. Give me 10 Serbs and 10 Albanians who rationally want a compromise solution to Kosovo and I'll give you a solved situation by the end of the year. Can anyone here honestly kill an Albanian or a Serb who has not directly done anything to them or their relatives? I think if you are human & you follow basic principles of basic humanity then you cannot just kill someone who has not personally done anything to you or your family.
Therefore the answer of ethnic cleansing and not finding a solution is invalid.
Hatred between Albanians & Serbians today exists primarily for past wars but has also been exacerbated by foreign occupation & higher political powers for their own greed of money, power & political agendas.
I personally hate NATO/KFOR/America & Germany because my research & understanding show me that they have more sinister objectives that are motivated by a hunger for power & wealth and not for the protection of civil rights.
My anger is at the foreign occupiers and also the individual who commits the crimes.
My anger is at many of the political leaders in Pristina who do nothing for their people and everything for money & business exchanges.
I wish more Albanians would not disparage the Serbs who are trying to protect their identity in the North & other areas, because they are not aggressors and there needs to be more understanding of their motivations.

When we lose one of our people we are sad and are also sad/angered because of the injustice & lack of prosecuting the guilty/responsible.
If the shootings/murders continue and the desecrating/vandalism continues then the revenge/anger will never stop. That is why we need to be angry at those responsible for not doing enough to STOP the violence in both directions.
If 3 Albanians were shot & one died and Serbs were responsible then I would condemn this & want the Serbs to be arrested because shooting them dead is not the answer.
I would only expect this to build more anger & hatred among Albanians against the Serbs. But instead of generalising the whole race we should ALL condemn the attack and find those responsible.
Please understand the Serbs who are fed up with these attacks & murders just as I would understand the same in the reverse. Also the Germans (most powerful in Europe), USA and UK are all being bias against us Serbs so we have so many things contributing to our frustration and anger.
The only solution I see is ridding the occupiers and fighting against the imperialism & western powers from treating us like primates of Europe.
We are all aware that we do not share the same religion and same culture but I think we can be amicable & treat each other equally if given the chance and strive to do so.
The only solution for peace is to stop the hatred. We shouldn't set the goals too high for integration among Albanians & Serbs because of our cultural differences but I'm sure that there are common human qualities that the good people can use as tools for peace.
I'm deeply saddened every time I read of a murder or fight between Serbs/Albanians. And I'm more saddened every time I hear of NATO/KFOR firing tear gas & pepper spray at my people who have inhabited Kosovo for hundreds of years and are just protecting their identity.

An Albanian has been arrested. He was guarding some of the Albanian homes being rebuilt in the area, and a fight broke out during an attempted robbery. The police were called in (accounting for the presence of the Serb cop, who was not the person killed) and somebody fired a weapon (or weapons? - they're collecting shells). Six houses, belonging to both Serbs and Albanians, were searched. Sounds like it may be one of those inter-ethnic groups that manage to cooperate so nicely in crime.

I see the Albanian cyber diaspora is still sticking to this story of Serbs trying to steal from them which caused them to be killed. Strange how this is not reported in any media. Are you people somehow wired into an pre-programed Albanian computer terminal in Pristina that automatically creates some lame excuse everytime you people do something stupid? But I guess we shouldn't condemn you people as hopelessly uncivilized. You've demonstrated something very simple and clear about life in Kosovo: any attempt at causing violence against one group can be met with equal if not more violent response all in the name of self defense and revenge. We see this everytime you people stone a bus carrying Serbs because of something that indirectly happened to you in 1999. Same goes for church looting and everything else the civilized world knows them for. So I guess if Serbs in northern Kosovo wish to engage in some sort of pogrom against Albanians, targeting their stores and homes, ripping up their graves, and chasing them south of the Ibar, or better yet back into Albania where they came from, it won't be because of Serbian nationalism. It's all justified and deserved because they were attacked first. Thank you Albanians for showing how violence can be justified in your eyes. 3000 years of supposed cultural heritage and history and you're still acting like a bunch of primitives. A real shame since all that money spent on trying to civilize them has been wasted.

Surely this must be some sort of world record? how many Serbs have been murdered since the NATO take over of Kosovo and how many people have been charged or and convicted? yet some former human body part harvester/KLA member now a member of some ROSU outfit got killed in self defense, the K alb government immediately issued 6 arrest warrants for Serbs.. absolutely mind boggling..
Please Pristina send in the ill educated, cowardly ROSU in northern kosovo to implement law and order.. or maybe they are too scared so they will stick to KLA tactics, kill in order to provoke, maybe blow up some buses, or shoot some kids? or even fabricate a story about some drowned Albanian kids in the ibar..

First money and power influence for Albanian Civilization are spent from Church of Greece for the disappearance of Albanian language and identity. This was in line with the Sultan policy which wanted to Turkyfy the Albanian Musliman.The second that contribute to civilize the Albanians was Serbian which’s with the help of Russia, together with Greece get more than half of 4 Albanian Vylayets. So you get more than half of Albanian resources and people to contribute in Albanian civilization. Not satisfied with what you get try everything possible that even truncated Albania does not function. For the Albanian that were included within Yugoslavia you do everything possible for disappearance of Albanian language and identity, as consequence less enlighten Albanian. Yugoslav Communist ,specialy two Serbs comrades give the support for the dictator Hoxha as Head of Communist Party of Albania. Now you know what Hoxha has done for Albanian civilization. Milosevic concluded all your efforts for Albanian civilization. Anyway we are here proud to be Albanian with our civilization and tradition, with our strong and weak points.
But If you think that civilization is exlusively Serbian, yes we are not civilized we don't speak Serbian.

EULEX urged to investigate attack on Serbs?? Why?? They already know who the killers are and are sheltering them. "Kosova" is a terrorist state while NATO and EULEX are partners in crime. Every time NATO's actions are resisted, they send out the terrorists to shoot and kill some Serbs. The same tactic was use by the NAZIs in WWII.
The problem with all occupiers is they don't realise Serbia will not sell its soul.

Serbs in Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Kosovo were not given that right by the 'civilized West'. I guess the fact that we were the only ethnic group to fight against Nazism instead of supporting it, like all the others who were rewarded, leads any logical person to conclude that this anti-Serbian policy was dictated by Germany. However, they failed before and they will fail again.

The basic problem: The Kosovarian rule of law. Maybe it's even human: If you aren't punished when you steal, loot, injure or hurt, then you'll do it again and others will be inspired to do the same. The KPS police not being interested or unable to find the perpetrators gives some more inspiration.
So, if Mr Thaci really wants to establish 'law and order', these are the first things to address: Killers must be found, arrested and punished.

First of all, i'd like to express my condolences and sympathy, to the family of the person who died and to all of the serbs that this incident has provoked suffering or bad feelings. I wish that things like this will never happen again. Each of us albanians and serbs could blame rightfully ourselfs, because we all are responsible for the situation in Kosovo. Even though i'm from Albania,in a away i feel part of this situation. I don't really know what to say about this incident, but i feel really sorry for all the people in Kosovo, because they're suffering from bad politics. I'm sorry to say this, but we in the balcans are very primitive. We're a shame for Europe and for the civilised world generally. I don't know for example why the serbs in the north don't start talkin to the internatonal comunity and to the authorities in Pristina, but they instead send someone from Belgrade, to talk for them. I don't understand why? I think that if the serbs in the north one day will accomplish to be part of Serbia, the next day maybe they will regret. I think they will be better off without being formally part of Serbia. They will be more pivileged, i think like the germans in Trento, Italy. I know maybe this is will not make them all happy, but i think we all have to sacrifice something in order to have peace. The borders in a few years in the Balcans will be useless, like they are in Europe and a lot of us will be ashamed for this current stupid fight. So why don't try first to live within Kosovo, then if you don't like it you can start building barricades again. You can protect better you legitimate interest legally i think, that in this way that is not very productive. All albanians in Kosovo want justice, espacially with their politicians. They will very much appriciate to see, some of their politicians being arrested and condemned by eulex, but unfortunally eulex cannot fully exercise their mandate because they are blocked by the overall absurd situation that reins in Kosovo. The guys in the north are helping inderectly the war politicians in Kosovo to be in power. So, then guys don't blame only albanians for Thaci and company, you should blame a little bit yourselfs too. Maybe even some serbs leaders in the north like this situation, but this is another question. So guys serbs and albanians in Kosovo try talkinng directly between yourselfs, don't let Stefanovic or others guys from belgrade or Europes to talk for you. You know better your problems than anyone else. Maybe Russia and USA can help because none of us really understand "european". You guys understand better Russian, we understand better "American". So if this two great countries will eventually make up their mind and start putting some real pressure, on us. Maybe we can find some rest. I wish we could find a european solution, but unfortunately we are far from being european. We're too "balcanik"

I would like to condemn the murder of the Serbian man in question and I pass on my condolences to his family. There is no excuse for what happened. If there is a disagreement it should be settled in an amicable and friendly manner.
Lastly, I am deeply ashamed, disgusted and appalled by the reaction of my fellow Albanians to the murder. You do not speak for me or for the vast majority of law abiding people. Shame on you. Have you any sense of humanity left? To the Serbian posters here, us Albanians we are not like this. We too want to live our lives in peace. Please understand.

vini my friend, the numbers you claim are greatly exagerated, based upon no actual investigation but rather picked cleanly out of the air. all independed investigations, you know where people actually look at things and actually count things, show the numbers to be around 4000-5000 of all ethnicities (not just ethnic albanians).
when you remember things you must remember then as the are, as they were measured and calculated not as they were propagandized. but hey, big e for effort my friend. atleast you were able to comprehend the surprisingly challanging group of addition, now you need to understand the difference between investigation and belief.

Before you accuse somebody of stealing something, you should figure out what was stolen and nobody here is bold enough to lie about what was supposed to have been stolen.

An Albanian has been arrested. He was guarding some of the Albanian homes being rebuilt in the area, and a fight broke out during an attempted robbery. The police were called in (accounting for the presence of the Serb cop, who was not the person killed) and somebody fired a weapon (or weapons? - they're collecting shells). Six houses, belonging to both Serbs and Albanians, were searched. Sounds like it may be one of those inter-ethnic groups that manage to cooperate so nicely in crime.

All murders should be condemned like when I condemned the shooting of the Serb farmer a few weeks by an Albanian ago and the ROSU man by a Serb in the North. Here in Novi Sad, i live and work with many nationalities, Serbs, Croats, Hungarians, Slovaks, Bosnians and there is no problems whatsoever. Everybody respects each other. That is the way it should be. It is the same when i go to Belgrade to visit friends and my uncle.

I would like to thank you both for rising above the usual nationalistic banter that goes on here and acknowledge what this crime really is: the murder of a member of one ethnic group by a member (or members) of another. There is no excuse for it regardless of what led to the conflict, nor would most Albanians on this site think the same way if it were they who were killed by Serbs. I want to also applaud you for at least trying to find some common ground between the two sides in Kosovo. You show that there are a lot of good people, Serb, Albanian or others, who just want to live in peace and that killings like this are a leftover and unwanted relic from the 1990s. I too am personally sick and tired of all this nationalistic-led violence. Give me 10 Serbs and 10 Albanians who rationally want a compromise solution to Kosovo and I'll give you a solved situation by the end of the year. Anyone who thinks they deserve some bravado points over an incident like this, or any incident of ethnic-related violence in Kosovo or anywhere else in the former Yugoslavia clearly never experienced the violence they write about so frequently.

My 10 points are awarded to 'Bekim' from Novi Sad for being HUMAN.
It is sad when the mentality that exists the least is the mentality of basic humanity.
Can anyone here honestly kill an Albanian or a Serb who has not directly done anything to them or their relatives? I think if you are human & you follow basic principles of basic humanity then you cannot just kill someone who has not personally done anything to you or your family.
Therefore the answer of ethnic cleansing and not finding a solution is invalid.
Hatred between Albanians & Serbians today exists primarily for past wars but has also been exacerbated by foreign occupation & higher political powers for their own greed of money, power & political agendas.
I personally hate NATO/KFOR/America & Germany because my research & understanding show me that they have more sinister objectives that are motivated by a hunger for power & wealth and not for the protection of civil rights.
My anger is at the foreign occupiers and also the individual who commits the crimes.
My anger is at many of the political leaders in Pristina who do nothing for their people and everything for money & business exchanges.
I wish more Albanians would not disparage the Serbs who are trying to protect their identity in the North & other areas, because they are not aggressors and there needs to be more understanding of their motivations.
As 'Bekim' the Albanian from Novi Sad saidl, all violence/killings should be condemned. There should be NO blood feud.
When we lose one of our people we are sad and are also sad/angered because of the injustice & lack of prosecuting the guilty/responsible.
If the shootings/murders continue and the desecrating/vandalism continues then the revenge/anger will never stop. That is why we need to be angry at those responsible for not doing enough to STOP the violence in both directions.
If 3 Albanians were shot & one died and Serbs were responsible then I would condemn this & want the Serbs to be arrested because shooting them dead is not the answer.
I would only expect this to build more anger & hatred among Albanians against the Serbs. But instead of generalising the whole race we should ALL condemn the attack and find those responsible.
Please understand the Serbs who are fed up with these attacks & murders just as I would understand the same in the reverse. Also the Germans (most powerful in Europe), USA and UK are all being bias against us Serbs so we have so many things contributing to our frustration and anger.
The only solution I see is ridding the occupiers and fighting against the imperialism & western powers from treating us like primates of Europe.
We are all aware that we do not share the same religion and same culture but I think we can be amicable & treat each other equally if given the chance and strive to do so.
The only solution for peace is to stop the hatred. We shouldn't set the goals too high for integration among Albanians & Serbs because of our cultural differences but I'm sure that there are common human qualities that the good people can use as tools for peace.
I'm deeply saddened every time I read of a murder or fight between Serbs/Albanians. And I'm more saddened every time I hear of NATO/KFOR firing tear gas & pepper spray at my people who have inhabited Kosovo for hundreds of years and are just protecting their identity.
Don't give up on resolution, but I think NATO are NOT helping any of us and are only implementing the objectives of the RICH & POWERFUL.

But you are right, Serbs were in principle the losers in the break-up of Yugoslavia. In today's world, you don't need Germans, or Russians, or Turks on your side, but the world's media.
Maybe that was the failure of Milosevic - that he did not understand that war crimes and genocide would lose the support of the world's media? Or is this the weakness in the Serb approach: the heroic stand against the rest of the world no longer works in the global village we have today.
