Oli Rhen just now issued a press release stating that Italy’s financial situation was “deeply troubling”. This is diplomatic speak for a crises.

Incredible, just simply incredible. Italy’s 10 year bonds are 6.6% to 6.8% and this guy still believes everything is well.
For your information the person I was talking about lives in Canada teaching at a Toronto University who is a specialist in debt owed by countries.
Take you head out of the sand and smell the roses.

''....As a greek economists said on a program I just watched, the” EU is IN AN ADVANCED STAGE OF DISINTEGRATION………''
I think no more needs to be said here.

The iceberg hits the SS Titanic and the Captain demands the orchestra continues playing while the water is now lapping around the musicians ankles and the waiters are taking orders for the third sitting for dinner. But the same captain is telling the diners there is nothing wrong; its full steam ahead and there is only a small leak.
If it reminds you of the EU, you are not wrong. So tell meknow what is Serbia going to join again?

This Polish bureaucrat lives in his own world and cannot see what is realy happening. He talks about new candidates and EU enlargement while the dominoes are falling and soon they will be no more.First Greece, then Portugal, then Ireland, now Italy and soon possibly France and the rest. When all the dominoes have fallen those very same financiers will grab what they can whilst escaping as soon as the first opportunity arises with their greedy eyes on their new made friends in the East where they have been based for some time now.

With the fall of EU the social model developed in Europe after world warII will be completely decimated and there will be a race to the bottom for wages, conditions of work and welfare services. There will be very hard times ahead for all Europeans.

Frankly, Serbia must recognise Kosovo independence first and withdraw the support for parallel institutions in Kosovo before dreaming to join EU. I personally am not begging Serbia to do that BUT just making the point. Otherwise a Serbia can be a part of Russian Federation. That would be more natural.
