Some of the things he says about energy security is nice, but I don't trust Nikolic. Anyone who flip-flops on issues the way he has can not be trusted. People who change their policies with the way the wind blows are basicaly opportunists who have no principles and no morals - just look at Vuk Draskovic, he is a prime example. When Mladic was captured by the yellow traitors and sent off to that political show trial to be crucified, I did not hear a peep, not a peep, from Nikolic. This is proof that he has been bought. He has had meetings in Brussels recently and I am sure that is where he got his marching orders.
Let's hope that if he gets elected, which it looks like he might, that Konuzin sits him down and tells him how to be a proper Serb, and keeps him in line.

Nikolic is such an idiot, this is the same crap that Tadic comes out with. It is an utterly impossible position to have. The fact is that the EU wants to tear Kosovo away from Serbia, and Serbia is in not position to bargain with the EU, Serbia either joins the EU under the EU's conditions or not at all. That is why Serbia has no place there, for Serbia would be completely drained of all sovereignty and domestic choice once part of the EU.

The EU needs to be abandoned as a dream which in fact would turn out to be an utter nightmare. Nikolic is not to be trusted, nobody who changes their views overnight, in Nikolic's case first being anti-EU and now pro-EU, can be trusted. This man is a joke.

The best politicians are not those who promise most.

What this guy is talking about is utter rubbish as it does not suit the Russians at all. They don’t want a decentralized and weak Serbia and all of this is only rhetoric for the numb nuts who are still enchanted with the EU and the mountains of money to be showered on Serbia once it becomes a members.
If Nikolic wins he will only do as instructed by Moscow and he will do the exact opposite to his current manifesto.

I also agree with Dragan's point about Nikolic not having said anything when Mladic was captured, where as when he ran as presidential candidate for the SRS he openly said back in 2008 that if he became president Karadzic and Mlad would no longer have to hide. Its just how he changed his position regarding the EU.

Sounds much like the DS policy but also very tactical seeing that many DS voters will be looking elsewhere. I'm not a fan of Nikolic but he is needed to form the next patriotic government.

The two main differences seem to be the dropping of "no alternative to the EU" and Serbia's military neutrality. I believe after the next election there will be a possibility to form a government between the SNS/SRS/DSS or SNS/DS. If the first one evolves that I suspect someone like Kostunica will be prime minister as a compromise between the SRS and SNS. The DSS seem to be the midpoint between the other two parties, which is KiM first and EU second.

I guess EU doesn't/won't demand Kosovo recognition from Serbia, instead it will demand to stop financing of Kosovo North, which is equally as bad...

BTW if I am not mistaken 1244 allows Serbia to finance Kosovo North...
