Heroin of Kosova

I make more simple for you the question of ICJ1, did Serbs comes to a empty region in Balkans when they came, or did they assimilate or push somebody else. Don’t go so far in history cause the last who try this was Duce that try to recreate the Roman Empire, if he had succeeded we had nothing to debates, no Serbia, no Albania only Roman Empire, or if you want let install Ottoman Empire. Kosova is a place with 90% Albanian who decided for their future. And Kosova has the size and all historical and legal rights to express it’s will. N.Mitrovica is a very small area and a bad imitation of the heroic efforts of K.Albanians for their freedom. Anyway they can try for one century as KAlbanians if they think that deserve to be a issue

Yes, Kosovo was once part of Alexander The Great's Kingdom of Macedonia and later a part of the Roman Empire.
A cadastral census carried out by the occupying Turks in the 1400's records Kosovo as being almost entirely inhabited by Serbs, as it probably had been since the withdrawal of the Eastern Roman Empire.

I apologize for my ignorance, but are Serbs also respecting the fact that they live in X's land who lived in Kosovo before the Serbs Y thousand years ago ? (you are free to label X and Y however you want).

The majority of Serbians want lower a better economy but understand that the EU did not bring this to Romania & Bulgaria etc

The majority of Serbians understand our history and culture & brotherhood and will not let our brothers in Kosovo be ethnically cleansed further from Kosovo.

We will not let our people be ruled in Kosovo just so we can "speed things up" with the EU... this is a disgusting self-centred policy.

How dare we just forget about the Serbians in Kosovo. This man is so Pro-Union that he has forgotten everything about Serbia & Serbians and the integrity of our country.

Everybody in Serbia wants a better economy & higher employment rates but this does not just happen over night. We would still be 6 years from EU membership should we pass the test on December 9.

There is still so much time and we do not need to rush anything. We are still getting funding from the EU anyway and other countries are still investing in major infrastructure projects in Serbia because of the opportunities available.

A lot can happen in 6 years and we would only be 'used' and 'abused' if we were to enter the EU right now...

I wish Cedomir would go & spend some time living in Pristina to see how his countrymen would enjoy life in the North if his policies & objectives were to eventuate.

We Serbs are not 'blind' or 'in denial', in fact we are the opposite. We understand the implications of Pristina's demands and we find them to be completely unacceptable.

You K.Albanians have to realise that you weren't the only ones that have suffered from conflict in Kosovo and we actually share the same mentality as you....... we will not be ruled by you... just like you will not be ruled by us.

However, you are living in our land so this is something you've forgotten and need to respect ;)

All the posters who say "finally some Serbians realise the right thing to do" blah blah... how ridiculous... nobody really supports this guy or his views.

You Albanians have never been as victorious as us Serbians in history, nor patriotic.

Surely some of you can trace back a family tree to see that you were catholics & bowed down to the Turks & converted to Islam.. we would never do that. You also bowed down to the Germans during the war.. we would never do that.

Soon enough you will not wave your flag on our Serbian soil.

The Lord of the Dance our quintessential clown is at it again. Who is Cedo Jovanovic? A so called leader of a party so small you need a microscope to see it. This guy is trying to appeal to disenchanted voters as one day he is for giving up Kosovo then the next he is against it.

If you have to drag out coco the clown Jovanovic then you are in deep trouble, but have a look at the bigger picture mate – Italy is next on the chopping block and then tell me how Kosovo is gone LOL, LOL.

Balkanguy

pre 12 godina

Mr. Jovanovic and fellow Serbian progressives represent the voice of reason and of hope for the future of Serbia. For too long, the Balkans have been a land divided by history, ethnicity, language, and nationalism. What has this division provided. Tito's Yugoslavia is but one model of how these differences can be overcome. The EU is another model but one which emphasizes cooperative interdependence, greater freedom, and economic liberalism. If history is the haunting, let the EU provide the exorcism freeing the Balkans of the hatred and intolerance which nationalism has offered. Serbia can then take its "natural" place as a leader in the Balkans providing greater stability and prospereity for all as its most valuable partner.

The Count of Kosova

pre 12 godina

Jovanović pointed to the difficult social situation in the country – poverty, unemployment, low incomes, small number of investments, poor education system and emigration of young people and stressed that all this could not be mitigated by “illusions about Kosovo”.
