Yes, SCP. And roughly the same number of people say the same thing you say about Kostunica, who has a similar level of support.

So, it comes down to you deciding which is "more Serbian".

SCP UK

pre 12 godina

No Danilo.

My point is that even though their support isnt much different, the LDP preach such policies that are far too radical and alien to the vast majority of Serbian people, so he stands no chance. The difference between Kostunica and Jovanovic is that Kostunica is clearly quite intelligent, where as other than the fact that Jovanovic is nothing but selfish, he actually believes that what he says is a reality for Serbia, now that is stupidity.

SCP UK,

LDP are in the same league of support as DSS (DSS having around 10% support and LDP around 6).

Do you think also that DSS should just shut up because they have such little support?

@bganon,

I never claimed to have Jovanovic's interests at heart, as if I care for him, I just cannot for the life of me understand what he thinks he is going to achieve by preaching such crap when such a small amount of people want to listen. He is nothing but an awful headache in the Serbian political scene, where as Tadic's government is a tumor that needs to be removed before it takes Serbia to the grave.

As for you comments on 1389, lets not go down the BS road about them supposdely attending a neo-nazi rally, thus suggesting that they are nazi sympathisers. If you can show me pictures of 1389 members marching and getting on with neo-nazis then please. I have pesonally seen 1389 burn swastikas on many occasions and compare their enemies to nazis, even labelling them as such. But even so, if neo-nazis happen to be at this rally, that isnt even an excuse to suggest that they are collaborating. Afterall neo-nazi groups have shown support to the Occupy Wall Street movement, yet many of those protesters are marxist minded or like to call themselves anarchists, yet it is ideologically impossible for these groups to be united with neo-nazis.

SCP try hating a little less, it blocks capability to understand and to think.

I think that if Jovanovic wanted to leave the country he would have done so by now, it is a bit silly that you are pretending to have his interests at heart. I hope you are not suggesting that although in theory you would not support the banning of a certain option, in reality you would condone those that threaten people that you disagree with until they leave. There is no difference between banning and intimidation if the end is the same.

Perhaps there will be a debate one day between Jovanovic and 1389. Not this week though as 1389 will be in Poland alongside neo-nazis in that protest.

@bganon,

I may have in fact said that, however that is nothing more than an expression of my hate for those parties. I wouldn't ban them, rather completely rubbish them in a public debate which I would happily take part in if I had the time. Such people are living in the clouds and therefore are easy to make them look like the morons that they are, so there is no need to ban them, rather for people to give them the middle finger at elections. It is not for non-Serbs to come on forums and bitch about them because these issues have nothing to do with them, this is something for Serbs to discuss, the fact that other Europeans come on here and slate me for my views and minus my comments doesn't bother me in the slightest, their views are rather irrelevant seeing as they are not Serbs, as free as they may be to make absurd comments.

One thing I would like to see would be a one on one debate with the leaders of SNP 1389 and the LDP, however somehow I dont see cedo being very enthusiastic. His arguments are full of holes and he never fails to show how his views really constitute nothing but his own selfishness. I just think he would be happier living somewhere else.

SCP only yesterday you were lecturing Serbians about democracy passionately saying that 1389, Nasi and those extreme right wing groups should not be banned.

Now I read your post here where you state that LDP, SPO and SDU should piss off. Your vision of democracy appears to be just as selective as those you would criticise.

Fortunately they each attract only a single digit percentage of the vote. And that makes their opinion largely irrelevant.

Serbia isn't going to recognize Kosovo's statehood for at least another five (5) years.

A lot of people are putting pressure on Tadic to change the political stance but that will not be happening any time soon -- hell elections are around the corner. I wonder if a minority-majority coalition will have a chance in 2012.

Thanks,

What Serbia needs is for all of these parties to piss off from Serbia. It is clear and always has been that the LDP have always been traitors to the Serbian cause regarding Kosovo and they are an utter disgrace to the very Serbian name. Draskovic and the SPO however are more surprisingly disgraceful. When Yugoslavia fell apart he and his movement championed the fall of communism and the return of the monarchy and Serbian patriotism. But what he has proved to be is nothing more than a selfish pragmatist scumbag who cares for nothing but his own behind, and will happily sell Serbia and Kosovo for these very interests. All these parties for the greater good of the Serbian people ought to be smeared and shown to be the disgraces that they are. Anyone who believes in what they say is either an idiot, or as much of a traitor as these lot. May they have nothing but complete failure and end up in the gutter.
(SCP UK, 5 November 2011 18:41)

I agree with you SPC UK. I think the best option for Serbia is for the clerics of the Orthodox Church to govern the country and Miroslav Gavrilović become Supreme Leader.

SCP UK,

As long as you keep paying taxes in the UK, part of which goes to promote these parties, their ideas, and their programs for Serbia, all is OK.

Serbia deserves candidate status if changing policy towards Kosovo, and Cedomir a medal donated by Albanian President for his contribution for a genuine policy which is called (Gjergj Kastrioti).

Good to see that there are some parties with a realistic point of view, and not only extremists/radicals who live in a dreamland and only believe in illusions.
