He pointed out that the organization continued to “incite national, racial and religious hatred, intolerance and active intolerance toward minority groups”.

If this is a reason for banning an organization, then the SPC must be banned, too.

Unfortunately Serbs don't understand the concept of liberty and free speech. You cannot ban something simply because you don't like it, or because it offends someone's feelings. The whole concept of so called 'hate speech' is Marxist and totalitarian and is an attack on freedom and true Western values.

I am not too sure what '1389' did to deserve a ban. But if they ban Nenad Canak and his LSV then I would support the same for this group. You have people like Canak & Zukorlic openly running their mouths for separatism despite the fact their support is not that big among Serbian citizens. When they are banned then we can talk about 1389.

I think banning such organizations will only cause anger. If they are banned all it will lead to is underground campaigning and perhaps a more violent response to the issues which they protest about. Anyone who actually follows the activites of SNP 1389 will see that their activities are in fact peaceful, although very critical. The will to ban them shows nothing but fear among the political elites to their EU aims, and in my opinion if you have failed to turn the public in favour of the EU then that is just tough luck, and so banning them wont lessen support for their cause, not to mention it is highly undemocratic for all those who supposedly champion democracy but want to see such a group banned, how hypocritical.
