Very strange times we live in...but some Croats simply cannot escape their nazi/ustase DNA. I really hope, we Serbs, will finally realise who Croats are and have always been. When will we learn?

CCCC, greetings to all my Serb sisters and brothers

Wow, the Croats suing Serbia for genocide .......when they admit to and atone for their own genocides then people might take some notice of what they say. So thats over half a million Serbs they murdered in WW2 and 250,000 Serbs ethnically cleansed in one week end just over a decade ago.....from their ancestral homes in Krajina.......we really are living in a bizarre world where left is right and right is wrong !!

@MikeC -You just need to look at this Jadranka Kosor to understand why there was a war in the balkans in the 90s. Its from people like her and their politics that Serbs resisted.

Mike C you forgot to mention Slobo, Seselj, Arkan, Mladic and others..Now you understand why there was war in balkans..It's people like them and their politics that Croats had to resist. Mike C I think it upsets you and other Serbs that Jadranka Kosor has the strength to put the so called left wing commo's in their place. The Serbs still to this day can't admit to the devastation caused by their leaders in the early 90's.

All of this rhetoric is exactly what is DIVIDING THE BALKANS ON BEHALF OF THE "IMPERIALIST" MASTERS!!!
When will all of these tools put two and two together. These are some facts that need to be overcome.
1)The war is over.
2)Krajina is forever gone and will never come back.
3)WW2 is over. Has been since 1945.
4)Bosnia is still an unanswered question that both Serbs and Croatians have yet to answer.
5)Vukovar and Dubrovnik are either totally rebuilt or almost there.
6)Serbia and Croatia have over a $Billion in trade with each other annually. Similar languages=easy to do business.
7)Communism didn't work.
8)Tajkuns stole from both people in the name of "their" respective groups.
9)Both nations could become the next Greece.

Yugoslavia wasn't it. Both that doesn't mean there cannot be a deal worked out. Get out of the Balkan Slave Mentality.

That is all.

Funny how even on this blog the old Nazi allies still like to gang up and attack Serbs with lies and propoganda. Nothing ever changes, the Nazis are still the Nazis and the free and independent people are still the Serbs.

"The Croat PM noted that only the government had the authority to withdraw the charges and that she personally never revised or discussed this issue."

She's right. But soon this HDZ government together with this embarrassment of a prime minister called Kosor will be history, some less extremist party will form the government, and then things will be different.

I guess being one of the few sane individuals yet to post here i better just let it out:You,(ie the Croats,if you wish to generalize) are not the Yugo's who were right as the western media likes to portray you.You talk about how we have blood on our hands yet you clearly disregard the actions on your part (typing this is sounding all too obvious). Before Operation Storm there were numerous crimes conducted like in Gospic, where between 23 and 100 people were massacred.(Granted this was in revenge for the massacres of croatian civilians in a nearby village).Canadian UN army units stationed recal how villigaes were torched to the ground. There are other examples as well, pakrac in 1991 and in 1992.Just before 1995 there were massacres in Sisak, where 600 Serb civilians were massacred and Karlovac. In vukovar quite a number of Serb civilians were massacred as well.

of course there is operation Sorm which you see as self defense, starngely engough thats how many like to see the rebel Serbs in Krajna as well.Call it what you want but i am afraid that your " Self defense" at a time when the Serbs were laying down their arms as part of a UN agreement and the war would have been brought to a close with much less bloodshed,Croatia would have the territories it has today and the Serbs would be allowed to have their own local autonomy without being expelled and ethnically cleansed en mass.Thats of course not how it went,Croatia with US and German funding invaded Krajna and expelled around 300,000 people from their homes, more than half of all Serbs in Croatia.around 1500 to 2000 were killed.Today there are still aproximatly 1000 people missing.

I can go on and on about Croatian war crimes or Serbian war crimes (i dont need to go over those since you would already know them:Vukovar,Zagreb,Bacin etc,so please excuse me for any bias). But i think its kind of clear that we dont have to feel ashamed only on our part. The strange thing is that we could probably work this all out without a biased organisation like the ICTJ.If we had our own joint investigation under a true UN assembly backed trial and not a UN security councel backed one then it would arguably be different.Jadranka Kosor would not want to admit the charges,i think possibly because she would have to give up one of her residences that belonged to the Zec family.I will be honest i am not entirely sure if its true.but honestly wold any of us be surprised? Its not the first time her party drove a Serb family out of their home.

All you can do is smile and wave towards Croatia. Funny how in WWI WW2 and NATO occupation the victims were always transformed into the agressors. How much more Ironic can it get than Croatia suing Serbia for genocide.Jansenovac, Operation Storm come to mind when you talk about genocide.Croatia is still very militant and proud of the genocide of Serbs.Everything is flipped over: evil is good, victimhood is agression, insanity is pragmaticsm. Thiis s systematic process of crushing Serbia slowly after the war there is a silent war against Serbia.Serbia joining EU is the extinction of a nation, but we will be kept out and destabailzed for gnerations to come unless there is some sudden massive change in the geopolitical realm, like American power collapsing suddenly.

Not all Croats were supporters, but in present day Croatia these fascist ideas are still very much alive and that is the main reason why Serbia should never ever drop its genocide lawsuit against Croatia. Obviously Croatia and many Croats have not learned anything from the past and I am 100% sure that they would have committed a third genocide in the 1990's if the opportunity was there and that a third one is still possible in the future, unfortunately.

Croatia is very aggressive and is very nationalistic. They hate serbs with a passion and for some reason when ever i go to BG i see a bunch of croatian plates or thier little mini flags. They do not like serbs, and in the future, they would not hesitate to get in a war with Serbia. They celebrate killing serbs and are proud of it. What does Serbia do, bow down to the Western Nations and hand over our people for "war crimes"..

Serbs living in Croatia get treated like shit and there needs to be more focus of this in the media..

We need to distance ourselves from these idiots and pay close attention as they are supporting their cause for a greater Croatia and getting more political power, while we are doing the opposite by trying to be all "Multi Cultural" and still getting weaker..

Lenard

Don't think Serbs that Croatian President Ivo Josipović that you are all in love will either drop the case. He was the main architect of the charges against Serbia when he was Croatian government counsel. It is time for the Serbs to face the music and be a honourable people finally. For all their wickedness destruction and pay for their innumerable war crimes restitution in the billions. Serbs Serbia being the instigators war aggressors with over 90% war criminals being convicted Serbs. No more excuses Serbs it only makes you look so very pathetic and then try to live in reality.

Milan

No genocide, no case, no lawsuit, no win. But wait, Croatia was told by Germany, the US, Austria, and the Vatican (by the way, three accomplices of the real genocides against Serbs in WWI and II), to press ahead because Croatia has nothing else to agitate Serbs. So please go ahead if you want to further embarress yourself and score some domestic political points. And Mr. Tadic, do not even think about dropping the lawsuit against Croatia, which is based on historical reality. It is your last chance to be remembered for something positive.
