I am glad I don’t write these comments in Serbian because you really have problems reading English. If the US/EU goes belly up then we will all feel it to a certain extent depending which country you are talking about. Some will feel it more than others. Russia will feel it more than China.

What I am talking about is the recovery period. Some countries are positioned to recover quicker than others and the Asian power houses are in that position. You may want to ask someone living in Australia what it means to them to have China as a customer for their resources.

The Chinese alone have over 350 million middle class – that is more than the entire US population – and growing fast. It estimated that China will have anything up to 600 million in that category by 2020. Do you understand that this number of middle class is greater than the US/EU put together? Do have any idea the amount of resources required here?

You have to remove yourself from thinking if the US goes belly up then the world will end. There are contingency plans for event such as this believe it or not mate.

Italy is next on the starting block and this is the real danger.

"The Tadic Government is a western appointed one, but the next Serbian government will be done by the Russians and bye, bye Albanians. You see already articles where the Serbian mayor in Kosovo are announcing ahead that they will not accept Stefanovic’s deals with the Albanians – they are not doing this because they are alone because they are being backed up by the new power in Europe – Russia.
(sj, 6 November 2011 22:26)

I agree with tadic being a dog on a leash that is dragged by the western countries but this stop at this non sense how Russia will help us..

Russia helping serbs is the biggest myth, they have not helped us out at all and they only support serbs for their own benefits.. They wanted nothing to do with kosovo.. and in bosnia they did nothing..

They just like when all the major media is on the Serbs so they can go in the shadow and pull thier strings...

Its kind of a coincidence that Russia gets in a war with the Chechen's basically when the feud in bosnia is over and another one when serbs are at war with Kosovo. GUess what, was any of that in the media? NO and it was a way bigger war and Russians absolutely slaughtered them..

Last time i heard that "friends" are supposed to help each other at war and if Russia had more power, or actually gave a fuck, this Kosovo situation would be a lot different..Ya its easy for Russia to give their 2 cents on everything but they are basically useless..

Buy a newspaper and see what the G20 were talking about or even better read what Obama said about the EU crises. You might also find out why Obama is visiting Australia in the next two weeks.
I thought you guys had some grey cells, but like most of your fellow Albanians it does not take long to revert to primitivism.

We read most of the papers you do with the exception of your street corner Malaysian tabloids. There is nothing new that you have rehashed from the papers that most everyone knows. It is when you embellish with your own and try to make it out that it is news and then say it is from sources we are not privy to.
IF you do have any dealings with the financial industry, my thoughts are you actually run a street corner newsstand, you know very well that one mediocre country can go bankrupt and not have a domin effect on the rest of the world, but the 2 biggest economies going bust (EU and US) will leave NO ONE untouched.
If you really believe that it will be isolated to the US and EU and not affect China or Russia(which I think you way overestimate their stability) then I only regret I will not be across the table when you have your Oh s**t moment. You know the one where you will no longer be a financial icon as your regional bank is forced to close its doors.

I agree that the Islamist do plan to take over in numbers, but there is one little point they seem to forget in that they are the vast beneficiaries of social security payments throughout Europe as well as in your Australia. In the early 1980s your government undertook a serious analysis on levels of unemployment by commissioning sample studies in various capital cities.

One such study was the Sydney suburb of Auburn where there is a very large Turkish community and they found that about 70% were unemployed. This number was replicated in the suburbs of Lakemba, Punchbowl and Lakemba. Turn off the money tap and they starve and don’t think they won’t do it either if it comes to the point where it either them or us.

The problem with Kosovo is simple in that all promises made by the west nothing has ever eventuated; no industry at all and the only source of employment is working on the farm or government which is totally subsided by EU funds. This 10+ on the Richter scale economic catastrophe is making it even harder for them to survive. For any of these Albanians that tell you or me how well they are off in Kosovo are out right lies of the greatest order.

The Tadic Government is a western appointed one, but the next Serbian government will be done by the Russians and bye, bye Albanians. You see already articles where the Serbian mayor in Kosovo are announcing ahead that they will not accept Stefanovic’s deals with the Albanians – they are not doing this because they are alone because they are being backed up by the new power in Europe – Russia.

How many time do I have to say that Serbia is a small fish in a very large ocean and that its economy was destroyed by the west and its only now that there is some signs of moving in the right direction.

Yes many Albanians have attempted to look for work in Serbia. The first place I heard about was Kragujevac – the car manufacturer Zastava after Fiat opened the factory. In fact I was in Serbia last year visiting relatives in that city when 20 Albanians from Kosovo were caught looking for employment. All were placed in a bus and returned. During that time Albanians from Preshavo Valley also turned up, but alas one Albanian is much like another and no job. There are other stories much like this. There were also people from Montenegro looking for work.

Preshavo Valley is a hole to say the least where unemployment is astronomical, but I am interested to know just how much industry has the west brought to Kosova? As Serbia is in such a crises please tell us all how living in paradise is going.

I know for a fact that Serbia has 35% unemployment, but when you consider that the US level is anywhere between 22 and 30% its not that bad at all. At least Serbia was under economic sanctions while your great friend p…. up all it money against the wall and is leaving a huge debt that not even their great grand childen will bring it under control.

“Go no further than this site. Move your eyes a little left and you will see the news category named Economic Crisis in Serbia”

There is an economic crises in the entire western world mate and Serbia’s economy is insignificant. It the west that is begging the Russians and Chinese to bail them out – hello!!!!!

Here is some news Italy is next and if it goes bad all of the EU will collapse, including the US – Its beginning to look like Christmas……..

This claim is a biggest lie I have ever heard. I am writing all my comments from Kosovo where I live, also I have relatives in Presevo Valley. Had there been any attempt of Kosovo Albanians to look for job in Serbia I would be among the firsts to hear about. How can you look down at people and insult their intelligence this way? If you really believe the BS you're saying is true then how Serbia happens to have the record unemployment in years? You do not have to google anything to get properly informed about Serbia. I do not work for a company as you call it, but a Merchant Bank and its not on any stock exchange as it owned by a regional government. In laymen’s terms, I am a consultant specializing in financial dealings of countries in the Asia Pacific region. The Bank’s head quarters are in Hong Kong and Malaysia is only a regional office where I have worked in for the last near on two decades. I am not a Malaysian citizen, but simply have permission to live and work in that country.

That’s bad; I was hoping to make significant profits by buying shares of this merchant bank that employs brilliant people like you with such an unparalleled knowledge about economic and financial matters. Listen to me my friend; with your brilliance you should move to the private sector where you'll be able to earn much much more than what a regional government pays.

What I have told you so far is not miraculous. Most of it is even in your media and unless you work in the industry you have to be savvy enough to pick it up. There is no great secret and when you look at what I have posted on B92 most has appeared soon thereafter either in the media or like this G20 meeting.

Probably for the same reason Islam is moving into Christian countries in great numbers.
They plan to dominate by sheer numbers.
Although, it also might be that "Kosova" is a Hell hole which nobody really wants to live in any more and if increasing their numbers in Serbia by moving there is going to get them more land and a bigger influence there then that is a bonus.
Serbian government is either very stupid or they are a bunch of traitors for allowing it.

Yes there is material which is highly sensitive and if released could cause a lot of damage. I would love to the scan papers, minutes of meetings that is now old news, but the banking world is very conservative and does not like publicity of any kind. Simply put I would be fired if I did that. You do recall Joe who worked for a stock broking firm – he never mentioned which firm as he would have been fired the next day. This rule applies from the office boy to the CEO – no exceptions.

Buy a newspaper and see what the big talks were at the G20 meeting – After the meeting Angela Merkel said that it would take at least a decade for the EU to recover. This is a euphemism for two to three decades and this is if very careful management is adopted.
The EU needs 1 trillion as a fighting fund so ask yourself why has not the mighty US stated that it would buy into this fund but is aiming his comments at the BRIC countries and in particular China and Russia??????????.

The EU is asking Russia and China to buy their bonds to create a reserve fund of 1 trillion Euros (actually it needs more like 3.5 trillion). Now when you go to the bank for a loan do you set the terms of the loan or does the bank?
Both will squeeze the best deal they can before committing to any form of bailout.
To commit both to help they will want substantial returns i.e. for every egg given they will want a chicken and for every chicken they will want a cow in return.
The Chinese economy is self sustaining; meaning that in the 1990s it exported 50 to 60% of all production. Today it only exports 15% and that includes the US and Europe. It has a middle class of 350 million and growing quickly so in fact it does not have to rely on the west. It is becoming so big that it is a trading block within itself.
The Russians can easily sell all their energy to Asia and live very well because this is where the new growing economies are occurring. It does not need to sell to the EU – yes its good business to diversify and not put all your eggs in one basket but it does not need to do that.
I am telling you that the west is in serious trouble and this is a fact. The world will not end if the west does sink as other parts are on the rise. If there is an economic catastrophe will the rest of the world feel it? Yes they will, but for them, especially Asia, it will take a very short time to move on while the west will be in economic ruins.
China has 3.5 trillion in reserves and that does not include the money invested in US bonds. In 2008, the Chinese spent something like 900 billion to stave off a slow down.
The Russians had something like 1.2 trillion before the GFC and after spending heavily to avoid a recession they went down to 600 million and are now about 900 to 1 trillion.
You cannot understand the concept I am putting forward because the west only talks about its own greatness and wealth and watching US TV it’s little wonder that you have this opinion. They are drilling it into your head that they are the greatest and if they go then it’s the end of civilization – it’s not and life goes on.

(as the day ends the sun always sets in the west., 5 November 2011 13:38)

The big change started in March when the Russians came to Nis to establish their firefighting facilities that will take anything from and Antonovs to Migs. I thought it would start a lot earlier but I was wrong as they only revealed their hand recently as far as Kosovo goes.
The ICJ is in all terms a joke of a decision – similar to your wife/partner going to the doctor for a pregnancy test and being told that she was only half pregnant. It now is very clear that Tadic et al were guided to ask that stupid question i.e. whether it was legal for Kosovo to declare independence. Based on that theory one can go back in the future and ask if it is legal to declare independence is Kosovo then independent and I even know the answer which is NO.
As the Russians have declared their hand no decision reached between Belgrade and Prishtina will be accepted as the Serbs in Kosovo will reject them all so you came stamp your backside with a Kosovo Customs stamp for all it is worth.
Everything from 2011 changes – ask yourself the question how it is a small number of people are holding the US/EU to ransom and they dare not lift a finger?
I can also predict compensation being paid to Serbia for those mobile towers – this time the international comunity will not lift a finger.
You can laugh but its changing and you guys won’t even feel the breeze of that change before it upon you.
Strongly suggest that you go and buy more US bonds to keep it afloat otherwise no more Kosova.
Personally, I am all for a division of Kosovo as it will rid us of the Albanians once and for all, but where are your people going to find work as the west has not even brought over a pizza oven let alone established industry. Open your eyes.
The sun does set in the west in more ways than you can imagine. Try learning Mandarin or in your part of the world Russian.

Even common sense tells you that if you invest in any source and that source becomes worthless, you have lost your investment.
If China invests 20 billion dollars in govt bonds and then those bonds become worth 3 billion dollars. Who lost?
China has built their economy on cheap labor supplying products to the west. If the western market dries up China is left with cheap labor and no money.

It is very true that USA and EU are going through economic crisis, the same crisis that sometimes is bound to happen just to any country and group of countries. But to state that China and Russia are called to save the Eurozone is ridiculous. Many times financial institutions sell bonds to raise capital. However even if your predictions come out to be true, I don't see how can this be translated into continuation of prosperity for China and Russia, considering that EU and US are vital economic partners of both China and Russia. The financial turmoil in 2008 had almost drained all foreign currency reserves of Russia. Therefore if EU and US go broke they will be swiftly followed by China and Russia as there is no life without vital partners. To state the economic reasoning of 19-th century in 21-st century is more than delusion. This is exactly what you're doing by wishing US and EU go broke as the way for China and Russia to prosper. Believe me this is the best wishes for enemies not for somebody you claiming is your friend.
This your prediction if it is ever to come true exactly the oposite of what you claim will happen. This will bankrupt China and Russia let alone Serbia.

I have no idea where you people live or if there is even oxygen on that planet or are you so isolated from any form of communication or are you just fed on BS that you are that ignorant of what is going around you?????
Have you got a clue at all what the G20 has been talking about or are you so brainwashed with “we are happy and wealthy in the west” that you have forgotten to even think for yourself?
The EU is looking to amass 1 trillion Euros through a Eurobonds issue and it is asking the BRIC countries (Brazil, India, Russia and China) to buy these bonds to save the EU.
The US federal government debt is 15 trillion and still rising and that does not take into account state debt. Even Fox has mentioned the fact that the total US debt so far is 47 trillion combined. Every State in the US is BROKE.
If you wonder why the US is not buying Eurobonds it’s because they are busy buying their own junk bonds via off shore companies – Oh and if you might wonder if this is a good idea; no it’s not.
The EU has Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland on the books and now its Italy and France is close behind them. In actual fact the only solvent country in the EU is Germany, the others are various degrees of broke.
I have been saying this for 4 years because it true – have a look; Russia and China being asked to save the EU – hello!!!!! If this is not the proverbial canary in the coal mine then nothing is.
Where ever you live in the west have a very good and long look at how degraded living standards have become and how the lines for food assistance and soup kitchens have grown longer and longer. How little things like roads left unrepaired for months on end. You read in the local papers where teachers are layed off with other public servants because the money is not there.

This where it is now becoming interesting. The west is bankrupt and now the new world players are coming into prominence. The Russians have shown their hand and are fully backing the Serbs
sj,
Yeah, lets see where that support has gotten Serbia. post UDI
Serbia says no to EULEX, Russia says if Serbia says no then no EULEX, West and UNMIK begin transition anyway, Serbia says please come in EULEX, Russia says OK to EULEX.
Serbia goes to ICJ, Russia supports Serbia 100%, ICJ opinions completely opposite of Serbia-Russia arguments.
Kosovo disables illegal Serbian telephone towers, Serbia cries foul, Russia cries foul, UNMIK says towers were illegal, international community remains mum.
Kosovo cuts electricity to non paying Serb enclaves, Serbia claims foul, Russia claims humanitarian crisis, Enclaves work out payment plan.
Serbia says will never accept customs stamps with Kosovo, only UNMIK, Russia supports Serbia, Kosovo refuses Serbian custom stamps, Serbia accepts Kosovo customs stamps.
Kosovo moves to enforce customs in the north. Serbia says illegal, Russia says illegal, Russia calls special UNSC meeting and invites Serbia but Serbia is banned from attending. Kfor takes over checkpoints and shuts down customs traffic across checkpoints.
Serbia says will never let southern province go, Russia says will help SErbia keep Kosovo, now discussion is if it is right for Albanians to refuse to be governed by Serbia then the north should be able to say they refuse to be governed by Pristina.
I can really see how the times are a changing with Russian backing, lol.

Yes the Borders of Kosovo where created in 1945!
In the 1930s the croats proposed republics:Slovenia/Croatia/Bosnia/Vojvodina/Montenegro and Serbia.
So no Kosovo and Macedonia!
What milosevic abolished was that many Albanians where immigrants from albania who came to kosovo where already many lived, like you are doing in Italy now..
hmm many of these Albanians didn't speak Serbian! didn't pay tax! didn't pay for housing!
There was NO horror in Kosovo, according to the west Serbs killed 100k Albanians=laughable.. 10.000 died because of the nato bombing and UCK terrorists.. and 250k serbs and roma left kosovo! thats what happened. If there where no albanians now in kosovo you would be right.
you cant have self determination because all Albanians came from Albania, in the Ottoman empire as well in Yugoslavia in huge numbers, so if 10 mil Turks live in lets say Brandenburg, can they carve up their own state?

The entity northern Kosovo exists, if not they can make it and northern Kosovo can split, Thats better for all!

1) UN does not recognise Kosovo As a Country
2) The countries that recognise Kosovo are in a minority
3) Not even the entire EU recognises Kosovo
4)Serbia doesnt recognise Kosovo

Serbs in the North of Kosovo live in Serbia, Speak Serbian, Travel freely to and from other regions in Serbia, they vote in Serbian elections, use Serbian currency, children are educated in the Serbian System..

So whats the problem guys? Serbs of NOrthern Kosovo have a very valid argument regarding there existence within the Serbian state..

Just because the USA and co say you are independant, China and co so you are not... and the UN says that you are not, and Serbia says you are not..

Now back to the Northerners... based on the above, they are entitled to stay as a part of Serbia..

And dont forgot, the ALbanians cant control 50 000 Serbs.. what makes you think you can gain Presevo? hmmm? hence take that argument.. if the Albanians want presevo in some sought of agreement, then they must give up Northern Kosovo, Gracanica and Strepce.. based on Albanian logic...

The Albanians should stop playing hardball, they would be lucky to make up 1.2 million currently in kosovo.. enough of the lies, you arent Illyrians, there are not 2 million of you in Kosovo.. let the northerners do as they choose..

KFOR's job is to ensure freedom of movement in Kosovo (which it did by removing the barricade in Kosovo) not in Serbia. In Serbia people are free to build not one, but 100 barricades in few hrs if they so want and the Serbian government is fine with that. Kosovo and KFOR couldn't care less about how many barricades are built outside of Kosovo or how fast.

I ofcourse disagree with that ironically dumb notion that Prishtina and their masters wish to aid the rule of law but the breakup of Yugoslavia was the worst thing that happend to Serbs and all South Slavs! We went from being a strong, prosperous state to a bunch of banana republics.Getting help from the Russians and Chinees is fine but everyone should be kept at arms length,it almost sounds as if you are happy that you replace one potential opressor for another.

About the Status quo idea i can agree,Eventually wether now soon or in later conflicts the north will be secured and no more Serbian citizens will have to be expelled but Meanwhile we as a whole should concentrate on our own economic prosperity,it is then and there when the rising power of China and Russia will be able to come of age,yet still relations with the west must be maintained.Prishtina can remain the black hole Thaci and his henchman crawle for a long time untill the west gives up their own facade like they did in Vietnman,Lebanon,Somalia,Cuba etc.

As for our region we have to foster co-operation with other South Slavic countries and thus strenghten our economic position with Yugoslav neighbours, continue to reform, get rid of corruption, improve our education and evolve our culture but above all achieve some sanity,ie realising that voting ultra nationalist or tadic is the same thing in a different package.Anyway these people at the Baricades regardles have been holding out great, much better than many of our own politicians would do.Thaci the Snake is getting a run for his heroin.

(mick, 4 November 2011 19:05)

@Mick4 it’s not the same. Kosova has been an entity with its borders(actually borders) during Yugoslavia. Milosevic abolish the autonomy and the right of self determination for the citizens of Kosova. They don’t accept this and he try the ethnic cleaning with the silent support of citizens of Serbia. After the horror of Bosnia West cannot accept the horror that commence in Kosova. This is the turning point for the self determination and the independence of Kosova. Now tell which of the facts that I mention is the same for N.Mitrovica. So not Albanian, but entity of Kosova is allowed to split from Serbia, cause if it was an ethnic logic, even the Albanian of Presevo must be allowed to split from Serbia etc.etc. So please don’t complicate things that are just know too complicated

You have this very wrong. The best thing that happened to Serbia was the breakup of Yugoslavia as it freed the Serbs from having to maintain the rest. Look at the success of the balance of the old Yugo – As the EU has gone from bad to worse so has it aid to places like Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, BiH and Kosovo has been reduced drastically. Today even the Croats are asking what will happen when they finally join the EU? Meaning will there be any solid gold goodies left? Sadly the safe is empty of cash but there are several IOUs.
The break up of Yugoslavia was planned years ahead of it happening. The US only saw the removal of communism while the Germans wanted access to the Adriatic Sea and a series of small states depended on them.
Your Albanian leaders went to war against the Serbs to serve themselves and not your people – Thaci et al have become very rich while the rest live in poverty so I would not brag too much about that fact. NATO came in for its own reason not to protect anyone considering they bombed indiscriminately through out Kosovo killing many more Albanians than the Serbs.

“Nobody can predict the future but one thing is certain for the next 100 years Serbia can not even think about drawing military plans regarding Kosovo let alone attacking it. So continue dreaming.”

As NATO leaves Afghanistan it is finished as a defense organization. NATO has clearly been defeated on the ground and its break up is the only course of action as the US does not have the strength or resources to keep it together – I suggest that you take a good look at what’s playing out in the EU where the BRIC countries are keeping the EU afloat, particularly China and the Russians.
NATO’s last hope was Libya to show it was a force of sorts, but with over 300 groups and internal fighting over power it is turning into another Iraq and there you can notch up another failure.
This where it is now becoming interesting. The west is bankrupt and now the new world players are coming into prominence. The Russians have shown their hand and are fully backing the Serbs.
KFOR will not lift a finger against the Serbs let a lone “order KSF to secure the borders”. The so called KSF are nothing more than lightly armed police – in fact KFPR is better equipped.
This is 2011 not 1999. As Gorbachev once said to a communist party meeting “the situation has drastically changed, comrades”.
The Albanians have no idea how vulnerable they have become since 2007 – no idea at all, but let the events unfold and they will see just how much the tables have turned.
As far as the Serbs in the Hague, here is a little prediction – out in the next few years, including Maldic. The Serbs exposed the “Emperor without any cloths” myth – they made the west look stupid, but these forays into the middle east and now northern Africa only confirmed their outright incompetence.
Tadic is finished and the outcome of negotiations will be rejected by the Serbs and nothing will happen – status quo continues. The next government in Serbia will be selected by the Russians. The west is bye, bye history.

Now this is a good idea - the Serbs replace the controversial barricades that are demolished with brand new ones, bigger and better, on the Serbian side of the border. @edi
It all about, the population size.
For example turkey has 75 million people now
Around 1930 Turkey had 13 million like Yugoslavia.
so if there was no communism and abortion + YU stayed as one, Yu would have 70 mil people and if bulgaria and albania joined 80-90 mil and then YU would be a major player on world stage....

But that's all if..
we have to focus on the future, and what the point for Kosovo to be independent? There will come one day when all Balkan countries are part of the EU or another union, so no more borders?

That is why I am saying if YU stayed one country it could have joined EU 1995/2004, or if TITO didn't decline twice for members ship, would it be better who knows but there wouldn't be a war and Kosovo would be Serbian.

For now I support the Serbs on the barricades, if Albanians are allowed to split from Serbia then Serbs in the north are allowed the same! Fair=Fair

(Ari Gold, 4 November 2011 14:41)

Mr Ari Gold:
It is this typical aptitude that cost Serbs dearly first in the breakup of Yugoslavia and then in follow up wars in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and lastly Kosovo. Continue with this type of embarrassing behavior and Serbia will continue to suffer even further both in terms of prestige and in not so distant future in territory as well.
Regarding Kosovo Albanians they had no army and they relied on the west for their defense. It was never a secret that Kosovo Albanians wanted NATO to come in and protect them. KLA was bait for the Serb army and they fell right in.
Surrounding and attacking unprotected villages is not act of bravery hence so many of your glorious leaders are sitting in the jail cells in the Hague.

Nobody can predict the future but one thing is certain for the next 100 years Serbia can not even think about drawing military plans regarding Kosovo let alone attacking it. So continue dreaming.

Don’t be surprised when one day KFOR gets tired of your games and orders KSF to secure the borders by any means. The recent history tells us the new wars are shorter but far more brutal and deadlier to civilians which are caught on it. Then I wonder what you have to say to your countrymen which no doubt will be homeless because you wanted a mini Serbia inside Kosovo.

Nobody really believes that Serbs and Albanians can live together in the decades to come. So I wonder why not to apply the same rules which were used as pretexts to bite off Serbia’s KM region ? And why should Europe which is full of it’s own problems inspire a new tension here ? Why should the USA which came to G20 with empty pockets remain a silent witness ? And here’s what I think :

1/ All 3 sides involved to the anti Serbian campaign understand that they are in a zeitnot situation. They gathered funny 14 anti Palestinian voices in UNESCO while they strived as hard as they legalized the K-bandit state. The time is not on their side and so they are in a great hurry. The Persian proverb runs that “hurry is the devil’s job” ( “ajala kar-e shaitan ast”). So the West is making new mistakes to cover up their past crimes. In this matter all 3 sides involved are vital allies. Nothing personal – just business !

2/ EU carrot is no longer attractive neither to Serbs cheated many times nor for anybody who can see the difference between a sinking ship and a fleeting one. So they come to understanding that the unnatural coalition’s days are counted and it is a final count down. Very likely a national minded government is to come to power in Serbia soon. And it makes they hurry again. So we can say “ajala kar-e shaitan ast” again …

So gloat now, but Serbia will always be there..Belgrade will always be 247 KM away from Pristina so we are not going anywhere. When the West ends up leaving, whenever that day comes..

It is just schocking, but also an eyeopener to see how serbian people comment on this web site. Obviously Serbia has not leaned anything, has not refected on his past, on what it did in Kosovo, and for as long as that doesn't happen, there is no way it can become a part of the free Europe. You guys still have a lot to learn, and refecting on your own history would be a starting point.

Fair=Fair

Serba and all balkan nations are to small to play big powers around, so would be better to shut up and stay indoors. This has nothing to do with so called patriotism, it is simple a little game played from some serbian political parties to gain nationalists' votes.
Once the elections are over there will be no road block bcs KFOR will make sure the roads are clear.
We Albanians and Serbs are a tiny element of this European Superstate. Greek fooled themselves by trying to be 'big glorius" and look what happened to them.

The war is lost why prolong the agony and continue this dangerous path of either all or nothing. Sooner or later one way or another the Prishtina custom officers will be manning the borders posts. When you lose a war the winner defines redraws the map to its liking. Perfect example are WWI, and WWII. Some nation emerged as winners and some as losers new frontiers were drawn.

I write my comments from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have lived and worked here for near on two decades.
I am in the finance business and in my specific line of work it is a prerequisite to know who owes what and which country is solvent or insolvent.
I don’t know who Staff is, but he maybe in a similar line of work.
For the Americans that think sailing past the heads of San Francisco Bay you fall off the edge of the world, Malaysia is in south east Asia.
Wake up and stop dreaming and walk around outside your comfort zone and see for yourself.

KFOR's job is to ensure freedom of movement in Kosovo (which it did by removing the barricade in Kosovo) not in Serbia.

As sj has demonstrated that he knows nothing of modern global economics. What you say is true that it is in China's interest to make sure the west economy does not collapse.

If 80% of my fellow Serbs live in poverty then why are your Albanians leaving the Kosova paradise and looking for work in Serbia???…??
(sj, 6 November 2011 11:56)

This claim is a biggest lie I have ever heard. I am writing all my comments from Kosovo where I live, also I have relatives in Presevo Valley. Had there been any attempt of Kosovo Albanians to look for job in Serbia I would be among the firsts to hear about. How can you look down at people and insult their intelligence this way? If you really believe the BS you're saying is true then how Serbia happens to have the record unemployment in years? You do not have to google anything to get properly informed about Serbia. Go no further than this site. Move your eyes a little left and you will see the news category named Economic Crisis in Serbia.

A bit embarrasing that KFOR had to do this - as if we were somewhere in Chad or Sudan. What is it all about? the color of the uniforms of some customs officials at two checkpoints! Pristina would be happy to send ethnic Serbs to serve at these two checkpoints, as long as they wear Kosovo uniforms and apply the Kosovo customs code (instead of the UNMIK one), but if Serbs think it is beneath them to wear a Kosovo uniforms, and as long as other Serbs think it is their patriotic duty to bully the ones who are ready to do this, they can't be helped. BTW, if Serbia would recognise Kosovo, Kosovo could become a member of CEFTA and the customs controls could be abolished alltogether.

With love from Russia !

Now this is a good idea - the Serbs replace the controversial barricades that are demolished with brand new ones, bigger and better, on the Serbian side of the border. Everybody's happy, no one gets hurt, the journalists get to play interesting word games, and the translators only have to work half-days.

Where are you writing your comment from? The reason why I am asking this question is that if the West as you claim has bankrupted and you still typing from the comfortable room over there and not from somewhere in these prosperous China or Russia, then your comment is nothing more than big BS. Your comments pretty much resemble the famous comments of Staff with referring some "credible sources". And what has started to happen since 2007? That is the year when you have started to post your "analysis" in B92, and for over 4 years all your comments were the same.

Wake up and stop dreaming and walk around outside your comfort zone and see for yourself.

as the day ends the sun always sets in the west.

As sj has demonstrated that he knows nothing of modern global economics. What you say is true that it is in China's interest to make sure the west economy does not collapse.
