Absolutely Adrian. It's sad that ethnicity, religion and nationality appear to be a barrier to greater prospects the world over.

The article and rankings show one sad thing: except a very limited number of countries (the number is even smaller in terms of population versus overall), the world is a very poor place.

Does is really matter who's fiftysomething and whos ninetysomething?!

Perhap"sj, Are you laughing that Serbia has 84% of its people living on or below poverty level."

People common, lets not confuse Serbia or Montenegro with Prishtina.

No I am not laughing at people living in poverty, but I only wanted to make the point that there are statistics and then there are outright lies.

Montenegro actually does have 80% of its people living on or below the poverty line (this information has been mentioned in various forms of media), but to make a statement that it has a reasonable HDI index is laughable to say the least. It gets even better with Romania (50) and Bulgaria (55).

When was the last time the authors of this report were in either Bulgaria or Romania?

I realise that Serbia has a high level of poverty, but this report is purely political to show the world how with the magic wand of freedom and democracy your living standards increase overnight i.e pure 100% western BS.

"If Kosova ranks 110 out of 178, that means Kosova is not Serbia anymore. I can deal with ratings, can you?"
(Agim Kelmendi, 3 November 2011 16:21)

It means Kosovo is under UN administration, correct. Great that you can deal with that fact!

This doesnt mean much as is conducted by politically motivated reasons. Everyone knows there is a lot of poverty in Serbia but that can be fixed if the corrupt Tadic goverment is replaced.. In Kosovo there is no hope of a decent goverment, it will be run for a long time by drug dealing, human organ trafficking terrorists known as the KLA... They will be in poverty for a long time and I suspect there will be a lot of moving to the bigger EU countries.

Kosovo ranks 110 out of 178 members. It's also the world's third largest area of asylum seekers. Looks like intellectual stimulation from these guys doesn't trickle down beyond Thaci's mega villa and expensive wardrobe :)

Of course you could deal with those ratings since you don't live there :)

Glad that the top of the food chain of intellectual stimulators support Kosovo :)

Too bad those countries haven't done anything to help Kosovo from being Europe's armpit. According to the recent Transparency International figures, Kosovo ranks 110 out of 178 members. It's also the world's third largest area of asylum seekers. Looks like intellectual stimulation from these guys doesn't trickle down beyond Thaci's mega villa and expensive wardrobe :)

“The group also includes Montenegro (54)”

What a load of BS. Little Monte has 80% living on or below the poverty line and they have are ranked 54.
This is the reason why I always laugh at these statistics.

How long will Serbs fool themselves with "bricks" and "go east" propaganda's against the people that feed them?
