"Serbia existed long before the EU was even though of, and it will continue to exist even after the EU dissolves. The problem is who will protect the albanians in Kosovo once the EU and America gets out?"
(MikeC, 3 November 2011 18:07)

Yes? I thought (the Republic of) Serbia exists only for a couple of year since Serbia-Montenegro dissolved, which itself existed only for some years after Yugoslavia dissolved. So, the people speculate about the EU dissolving seem to have forgotten which entity really dissolved. Amazing. Or do you mean some Serbian Kingdom from centuries ago? Well, then Italy exists much, much longer, since the Roman empire. LOL.

P.S: If you count the predecessors of the EU (with its core members from 1957/1973), the 'EU' existed even longer than Yugoslavia.

Reading your comment makes my day. You openly admit that Kosova is Independent but you are trying hard to get that little piece up north. So much for your cradle of Serbia(Whole of Kosova), that you always claimed!
(Agim Kelmendi, 3 November 2011 16:14)

Actually, the only people trying real hard to get that little piece up north are the Albanians. Why? I have no idea but then I've stopped trying to figure out your logic - especially when you people don't even realize you're sounding exactly like Milosevic. You know, the guy you hated and worked so hard to get out from under despite his attempts at imposing "law and order" of you? You guys aren't doing so hot convincing Serbs in the rest of Kosovo to join your troupe either. The Gorani aren't keen on breathing in the stench of Kosova's law and order either. Tsk tsk tsk :)

So much for "Kosova" more like,i think your proud mafia enclave which you call a country should change its name as it does not want any Evil Serbian influence in,IE the word KOS in Kosovo.I could write an entire list on how its ridiculous how you people actually like to hold up this pretence as if there is some ' kosovan nation" when its pretty much all Albanian, but i think you have many more problems to think about.I mean wake up,Merkel and Sarkozy who helped set up your little narcotics entity dont even want to see your dirty rat of a leader, they are that embarresed! Its been like three years now and you are still not even a UN member, and you will never effectivly be since Russia and China can always do something to stop that.South sudan got a seat in like days,i mean if your doing worse than south sudan then thats really something to worry about!

Agim-you are sounding more desperate and irrational by the day. What's wrong? Serbs are trying to reach a peaceful, negotiated solution that both sides can live with. We are ready to make huge sacrifices for the sake of long term peace. You only offer absolutist demands. You are not fit to have your own country, there are far more deserving peoples around the world.

Absolutely. Calls for hostile takeover of the north by nationalists, populists, and other extremists in Pristina is an unwanted relic of the 1990s that produced nothing but misery. Pressure needs to be put on the Albanians to halt their drive to establish unwanted, illegitimate, and parallel structures in the north, where the people have clearly demonstrated their democratic will to govern their own affairs under their own laws. Imposing unwanted law and order will only open a Pandora's box throughout the rest of the Balkans for other would-be nationalist movements. I'm glad Buzek thinks dialogue is the way to go. I'm also happy the CoE rapporteur for Kosovo met with the legitimate government representatives of northern Kosovo yesterday, essentially recognizing their legitimacy :)

“We must not let the ghosts of the past affect us. We must renew dialogue,” Buzek stressed, expressing belief this was possible.
