Use of force against the Serbs is nonexistent as that other major player side has shown their hand in this dispute.
(sj, 2 November 2011 13:55)

That is absolutely correct; Serbs are strong supporters of 1244 and KFOR and thus there is no need to use force against them. Force may only be used against people who violate 1244 especially now that Russia urged strict adherence to 1244 provisions.
----------

Tadic and Stefanovic are no longer relevant and can join the other sell outs in the dustbin of history.
(sj, 2 November 2011 13:55)

That’s great for everybody in Kosovo. Serbs will no longer have to deal with that traitor of Tadic and Albanians don’t have to worry anymore about complications due to Serbia becoming an EU member.
----------

For those Albanians that put up the excuse of no recognition of Kosovo then no EU, – there will be no EU shortly.
(sj, 2 November 2011 13:55)

Is this “shortly” similar to the “three weeks” prediction that you made on 9 October 2011 23:03 for the BOOM in the US ?
----------

Look at the EU begging the Chinese and Russians to buy their Eurobonds to stay afloat.
(sj, 2 November 2011 13:55)

I agree… those rich people in the EU want to live at the expense of the poor masses of China and Russia.
----------

Hello is there anyone home or are you all brain dead??????
(sj, 2 November 2011 13:55)

I think everybody in this forum is brain dead… for some reason they are not able to see the deep insight that expertise that you sj offer in financial and economic matters.
----------

Yes trade is one of the things its after but to help with the bailout China wants the ability to buy into strategic high tech industries.
(sj, 3 November 2011 22:57)

Here I tend to disagree. According to many posters in these forums, China is a great and advanced superpower and does not need EU/US’s decaying technology (Where is this superior US technology? You correctly asked in another post on 2 November 2011 14:03). Instead, I and many other posters here think China’s top national priority is to help Serbia win Kosovo and China can’t sleep at night until that is achieved. That’s why is giving money to the West in order to condition them not to help Kosovo.
----------

Of all the western countries then only one in good shape is Australia with a national debt of 2% unlike the US which has a debt of 120% and rising. In fact it actual debt is 47 trillion with unfunded liabilities totalling 115 trillion. It is now buying its own bonds through dummy companies in the Caymans and Bermuda.
(sj, 3 November 2011 22:57)

Those Americans that earn 6x more than the average Chinese. I fully agree with you sj that Americans should take example for the China in order to enjoy the privilege of living in poverty.

I hate to say this, but you really are totally clueless. In 1995 China exported 50 to 60% of all production, in 2011 it now only exports 15% and that includes exports to the US. China does not need the EU, it’s the EU that needs China.

Yes trade is one of the things its after but to help with the bailout China wants the ability to buy into strategic high tech industries.

The west is finished. Its only people like you that have their head in the sand and don’t see it, but you can always live in hope LOL.

I don't think there is one serb who cares about whether Macedonia is partitioned or not. Also, how come that always when the issue of partitioning Kosovo is brought up albanians mention Presevo, Sandzak, Vojvodina and Macedonia. How come you never include Bosnia and south Albania (Northern Epirus) in your calculations? If albanians in Presevo want to belong to Kosovo then they should make a move. The title of this article is misleading. Bogdanovic isn't talking about "parallel institutions", but the legitimately elected and popularly represented institutions of northern Kosovo. Maybe he made an indirect statement about Pristina but other than that, I see no "parallel institutions" :)

Well, nothing will happen in the north for as long as the central government in Prishtina is weak, corrupted and unable and unwilling to seriously offer concrete offers to the local Serbs in the North. If Prishtina had the means to do what Croatia did back in the 90's things would change over night however fortunately for the Serbs the leaders in Prishtina are so weak and so corrupt, so hungry for the money that they are incapable of resolving any issue. Money has blinded them to a point that they would sell their mothers if the price is right. These so called politicians before the war they counted donkies and sheeps as their assets. After the war ended they become milionares withing a short period of time. They dont care for Serbs or Albanians. For heavens sakes 11 years after the war ended these scum bag leaders still can not manage to supply 1.6 million people with electricity 24/7. Keep it up like this gentlemen and soon Kosovo will be one empty place. Its already starting to happen. If you visit western Kosovo you will see beautiful houses with no people on it or very few elderly people on it. Everyone that I met in Kosovo is interested in leaving Kosovo as there are no oppurtunities. They are starting to lose hope. The so called leaders of Kosovo must be replaced immediately with accountable politicians which will work to better the lively hood of all the people Kosovo.

Why would we, and/or our officials in Pristina, want to negotiate our territorial sovereignty? We're fully aware that it's not a popular decision (from a Serbian stand-point of view) but the government isn't here to adhere to popular decisions; governments are set up in order to counter emotion and to lead with logic and the best interests of ALL citizens.

PM Thaci recently made it very clear when he said something along the lines of, "the government isn't at war with our citizens at north". Kosovo is at standstill with these criminals that are making average citizens stand in the barricades for hours on days just to receive their benefits. C'mon even as a Serb in the diaspora you have to shake your head when you hear about these "officials" stating to local Serb minorities that if they don't participate in the barricades they will not receive their benefits; that's just wrong!

The title of this article is misleading. Bogdanovic isn't talking about "parallel institutions", but the legitimately elected and popularly represented institutions of northern Kosovo. Maybe he made an indirect statement about Pristina but other than that, I see no "parallel institutions" :)

For those Albanians that put up the excuse of no recognition of Kosovo then no EU, – there will be no EU shortly. Look at the EU begging the Chinese and Russians to buy their Eurobonds to stay afloat.

sj,

Rather than think through the economics and see that China needs the EU as customers of Chinese products, you let your emotions blind you. I understand that you want the West to suffer for bombing Serbia, but don't you see that Serbia will suffer far more if the EU fails. Learn to think with your head and not your heart.

Canadian Serb,

What do you think will happen to Serbia if the EU fails. Serbs are already suffering, why would you want them to go through the torture the Greeks are experiencing? You clearly have no grasp of economics.

To Berg/Koso and other kosovo albo supporters!

adding that what was extorted with the use of force was unsustainable in the long-term.

“The history of Kosovo teaches us about that.

Remember these words carefully! European union will not thrive and survive for much longer! These so called power countries (USA,Germany,Italy,France etc) are slowly but surely losing their grip on morality and rationality! European Union is in lot of trouble, owning trillions over trillions,,,,how they going to pay it back....Once they fall...Serbs will want and do whatever is necessary to get their Kosovo land back!.......that is future folks!

Not really I was referring to people like you who are brain dead and need to buy a current newspaper to catch up with world events. I suggest that you stop reading the 1999 editions.

Mr Stefanović, you can talk to the EU and US as much as you like but if you don't represent the interests of Serbians and negotiate fairly, you will have no control over events there, such as now.
(Zoran, 2 November 2011 12:56)

Welcome to reality... you just understood now that Serbia does not have control over the events in Kosovo ?!

For those Albanians that put up the excuse of no recognition of Kosovo then no EU, – there will be no EU shortly.

Those Americans that earn 6x more than the average Chinese. I fully agree with you sj that Americans should take example for the China in order to enjoy the privilege of living in poverty.
