Funny, Russia was quite reserved regarding interference in the last election whereas the EU and US meddled continuously. Hopefully this time around they won't allow the electorate to be deceived like last time. The DS and the sell-outs really are a spent rod. They have attempted to sell KiM for their own benefit while getting Serbia at a higher level of debt without much to show for it.

Well paid hypocrites! Why didn't these same politicians want the German, American and UK ambassadors declared persona non grata? They interfere with Serbia's internal affairs all the time, in fact it is part of their job to interfere! Michael Polt engineered the ridiculous DS and SPS alliance in fact. How is that not interference?? I am very glad that Konuzin is speaking up and letting Russia's feelings be known. Keep up the great work Konuzin!

Another clear proof how poor Russia regards Serbia. Serbia is but a pawn, leverage and political cannon fodder for Moscow's ambition, but with no real future since Serbia is completely encircled by NATO and EU countries. Not even the NIS scrapping was profitable. Where is Russia's gratefulness here, anyway? There was no benefit whatsoever. Oh yeah, right, now they have NIS and show the middle finger. And if you don't comply then Moscow supports opposition. Very simply, very mean, very Russian.

The liberal opposition routinely receives EU and American funding and closely coordinates its activities with its EU and American advisors or more accurately, masters. The EU and the US have routinely and heavily interfered in every aspect of Serbia's political, cultural and religious society for well over a decade. The liberals' criticisms of "foreign interference" provoke only laughter. The liberals are a dwindling band of shoe-shine boys respected by no one. What is more interesting is where Tadic is going. Repeatedly and embarrassingly humiliated by the West, maybe...just maybe he's beginning to know now who Serbia's only real allies are. And they have NEVER been in Washington and Brussels.

When the EU gave Serbia access to the Schnegen free zone (which I support either way) as well as the SAA agreement with the EU right before the last elections, that was not meddling? The EU officials openly said things like "we need to help 'pro democracy' forces win in the next elections'" contradicting themselves because democracy shouldn't need any help.

How about officials openly saying they will wait until Tadic is elected office before they throw their support to Albanian separatists in our southern province to declare independence? Merkel coming to Serbia telling us what we HAVE to do? Hungarian ambassador telling Serbia to change its laws? NGO's that employ rats like Vejvoda to speak ill of countries that DIDN'T bomb Serbia?

Its ridiculous how many examples I can bring up of the other side constantly meddling in Serbia's domestic affairs. Did Russia's ambassador do a little bit of meddling? Yeah, perhaps he did. But hey when the propaganda machine is so far on one side of the spectrum then you need some of your own just to balance it out. If one side plays unfairly while the other side continues to abide by the rules, the latter will lose every time.

Canak, you are a greater threat to Serbia's sovereignty than Kouzin is. I only pray that once the Tadic regime falls that your kind will be thrown in jail. Not because of difference of opinion but for violating the Constitution of Serbia. If Canak was a politician in the U.S.A. calling for independence of a part of that country, he would be locked up for life. Its about time Serbia starts doing the same.

Someone has to protect Serbian interest, and most Serbs agree w/ ambasador. I thank him for his opinion, and how many EU members tryed to protect Serbs in any way. All they ever done is put them down or attack them, while protecting their criminals.

Interesting. History tends to repeat. Serbia was surrounded by the NAZIs just a few decades ago just like we are with NATO now. We ended up victorious then and who knows, maybe we will again? The US now looks very much like Germany back then - technologically advanced but economically (and morally) bankrupt. Lets see how this plays out.

That is what I said last time he insulted the Serbs that he was a better Serb then the Serbs them selves. Looks like he is pointing at the leader of SNS Tomislav Nikolić saying your the leader ha ha, All Hail Putin the overlord of Serbia and this insignificant underling of Czar Putin.

Perhaps he knows the program of SNS, I don't.
Nikolic said that no one who doesn't pleases to EU could be president of Serbia.
Perhaps Russian ambassador shouldn't invest so much energy helping him to achieve his PERSONAL goals.

A couple of points here for Delic:

1) It was no secret that the US ambassador to Serbia was instrumental in brokering the agreement that formed the present government.

2) Ambassadors regularly attend party conferences in many countries. For example here in Ireland it is the norm. Last year the Cuban ambassador attended our own one as did the South African and Palestinian. Down through the years we have been honoured to have the Soviet, Vietnamese, Angolan, Nicaraguan etc. to name but a few so I do not see where the problem is here? The Centrist and Liberal parties often have for example the German, French and Dutch ambassadors show up for their respective conferences. The ruling party never objects as it is seen as the normal line of work for the diplomatic representative from another state.

Serbia and Russia have had "special relationship" for centuries. Same religion, close languages, same alphabet. Russian victories over the Ottoman Empire helped Serbia's liberation and in 1914 Russia even took the disastrous (for her) decision to go to war but not to alow "little brave Serbia" to be crushed. Unlike the other East European nations, there was never a Soviet invasion in Serbia. Compare this with the suffering of the Serbs caused to them by the West or its proxies. Anyway, the friendship between Serbia and Russia is a great treasure, that could benefith both nations. Yet Serbia's future is in Europe. It could not afford to remain an enclave!
